So, I just wanted to show you some of
the Blu-rays and 4Ks that I just got
recently. Uh it's just a mixture. It's
the first three are from Arrow and the
last one is from Terror Vision. So, the
Arrow ones I actually ordered through
the Barnes & Noble 50% off sale that was
going on. My wife let me know. She was
like, "Oh, this is going on. Do you have
interest?" Cuz she buys books through
Barnes & Noble. So, she was like, "I
don't know if there's anything you
want." Which I was surprised because
she's usually the one who's like, "You
don't need any more movies." So, it was
really kind of shocking that she was
like, "Do you need any of these movies?"
And I was like, "Well, I mean, if you
insist, I'll I'll I'll look through and
find something." So, I was able to get a
pretty good deal because in addition
she's a member and so I got some money
off with that including having free
shipping. So, it was pretty nice. So,
anyway,
oh, let me show you the stack. I'll do
this for the thumbnail.
Kind of. Um
All right. So, the first one, this is a
movie that I'd watched when I was pretty
young and I remember enjoying it. And
it's a Joe Dante film. So, I was like,
"I need to rewatch this. I should just
have it because it's Joe Dante." I
really enjoy Joe Dante's stuff.
Um and yeah, it's a Steven Spielberg
presents. It's Inner Space. Um this has
Martin Short in it. And who's the other
big name in this? Is it um
Why am I blanking? Quaid? Dennis Quaid?
I think.
Uh yes, Dennis Quaid. I was right. Okay.
So, let me go ahead and show you. First
of all, I don't really love the fact
that this is one of these thick ones.
It's like the size of two Blu-rays. But,
you know, I think this this is the 4K
though. So, um there you have it. Oh, I
like that artwork. That is cool artwork.
I do like it.
And then there is a poster.
I'm going to unfurl this. Oh, it's like
a game on the back.
Maybe.
I think it be.
Okay, so first of all, the poster. Okay,
cool.
And then
Yeah, this is a board game on the back.
That's actually kind of a cool gimmicky
thing.
I like that. That that's pretty cool. Um
my wife and I play board games. Maybe
I'll see if she wants to get involved
with this.
Uh and then there's an essay booklet.
Pretty decent amount of pages and that's
cool. I like I like that artwork.
And that's solid enough. Okay. So, you
know, they put a lot of care into this.
Like it looks nice. I just don't like
that it's so fat because
you know, shelf space is an issue with
people who collect like me.
All right, so let me read about this
one.
Uh do do do do. Uh maverick pilot Tuck
Pendleton is about to make history as
part of a scientific experiment to be
miniaturized
and injected into the body of a rabbit.
But when rogue scientists steal the new
technology, he finds himself injected
into a hypochondriac grocery clerk Jack
Putter uh instead. Uh together with ace
reporter Lydia Maxwell, Jack must find
the stolen tech that will get Tuck back
to regular size and out of his body
before the bad guys extract him by
force.
Yeah, um I've heard this holds up in a
different kind of way as you get older
and um yeah, I'm just excited to watch
it and kind of
see what I was enamored with when I was
young. So, Innerspace, excited to have
this one.
The next one is one I have never seen
before
but I looked some stuff up about it and
I was like, "Huh, you know, I'm kind of
interested." And it's a Ken Russell
film, so I'm like it should be at least
decent. Uh Kathleen Turner, Anthony
Perkins in Crimes of Passion. I do like
this artwork, super fun.

I'm glad they came up with something
better.
In the early '80s, British enfant
terrible
uh I don't know why that's Okay. Ken
Russell traveled to America and placed
his unorthodox imprint on a pair of US
movies. The first was the Altered
States, so out there so out there its
screenwriter disowned it. The second was
the equally crazy Crimes of Passion.
Um starring Kathleen Turner at the
height of her powers, fashion designer
Joanna Crane leads a double life. By
night, she is China Blue, a prostitute
who's attracted the unwanted attention
of two men. One is a sexually frustrated
frustrated private detective hired by
her employees. The other is psychopathic
priest in possession of a murderous sex
toy.
Sounds wild, sounds interesting, sounds
potentially fun. Very interested to
check out Crimes of Passion. So, pretty
stoked on that one. And then the one
that I went into I went into this really
looking for like I definitely need to
make sure I picked this up is a Sam
Raimi film I've never seen before and
I've heard it's good and that is a
Simple Plan.
The guy mid mid-level media, I think his
name's Ken, who with uh mid-level media
had recommended this one and I was like,
I didn't know that was a Sam Raimi film
and it is one that had been on my radar
anyway to check out. So, this is a 4K
um yeah, that's not great, but that's
the original, you know. They always put
that stuff on there. There is a very
small

things. And then there's just a small
essay booklet in here, so it would
probably just like one essay, but
I'll read it.
Uh working from an Academy
Award-nominated screenplay by Scott B.
Smith, director Sam Raimi swapped his
trademark hyperkinetic horror for stark,
bone-chilling tension in the expertly
crafted, critically acclaimed thriller A
Simple Plan.
Hank Mitchell, played by Bill Paxton,
and his wife Sarah, played by Bridget
Fonda, have big dreams and a baby on the
way, but are stuck in the middle are
stuck in the small Minnesota town where
Hank grew up alongside his sweet but
naive brother Jacob, played by Billy Bob
Thornton.
One day, while walking in the woods,
Hank, Jacob, and Jacob's friend Lou,
played played by Brent Briscoe, discover
a small plane buried in the snow with a
dead pilot inside and a duffel bag
containing over $4 million in cash. It's
a once-in-a-lifetime chance to grasp the
American dream in one fell swoop if they
can just keep it a secret, but Hank soon
learns that keeping that secret will
come at a terrible cost. Yeah, the
premise sounds really cool. I've heard
it's a good film.
Sam Raimi, so I just want to see it for
that reason. So, yeah, um I also it
sounds like a good cast as well. So,
yeah, excited for it, A Simple Plan.
And now I'm getting to the TerrorVision
film that showed up. I'm a subscriber to
TerrorVision. I don't even remember how
many films I have coming my way still,
but their releasing of their films has
been very, very uh
short I was going to say short,
absolutely not, has taken a very long
time. It's been very delayed.
Um so, I'm just randomly getting them
here and there as they're kind of
available. So, this one that showed up
is Happy Hell Night. Now, they always
send like this little what they call a
creep coin where you can redeem them for
certain things. I'm saving up for the 75
creep coin mark, which is a subscription
to their Blu-ray club at the 20 Blu-ray
tier.
So, that is something to strive for.
I have an okay amount of them so far,
but anyway, Happy Hell Night.
Um that looks okay.
Uh,
that looks more more so. Tonight the
party animals of Phi Delta Kappa will
raise more than hell. Okay.
It's a 4K.
I didn't really look at this, honestly.
Uh, I'm looking at it for the first time
right now. I mean, I unwrapped it and
all, but
All right, on Halloween night 1965,
disgraced Catholic priest Zachary
Malleus
uh, brutally slaughtered seven
fraternity pledges after they desecrated
his family's crypt during an occult
initiation.
Declared insane and committed to an
asylum, Malleus became a dark legend
spoken of in whispers at Winfield
College. The sole survivor of that
massacre, Henry Collins, never forgot
the horror. Decades later in 1991,
pledge week is in full swing. Henry's
son, Eric, finds himself tangled in a
deadly prank when his fraternity
brothers send the new pledges to the
asylum to snap a photo of the infamous
Malleus.
But, what begins as a hazing ritual
quickly awakens a nightmare as the mad
priest is unleashed once more and a no
one on campus and no one on campus is
safe from his wrath. A chilling blend of
gothic atmosphere and early '90s slasher
mayhem,
Happy Hell Night brings blood, black
humor, and a killer unlike any other
back from the grave.
Yeah. I will say, um, of a lot of the
uh,
boutique labels, um, Terror Vision, I
think, has some of the best copywriting,
honestly. Like, Vinegar Syndrome,
sometime like, their run-on sentence
sentence are just ridiculous, but I
think Terror Vision does a nice job. So,
I am excited to check this one out. I
have enjoyed uh, a lot of what Terror
Vision has put out. Um, so, I like being
a subscriber. So, anyway, uh, that's all
