Video summary
The video explores a provocative hypothesis proposed by neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Galammore: that DMT could be the most important technology in human history if it enables reliable communication with alien intelligence or other forms of life. While modern science typically dismisses reports of "DMT entities" as mere hallucinations, the speaker highlights data from large-scale studies showing that over 80% of experiencers find these encounters more real than their everyday waking consciousness and believe the entities persist after the experience ends. The core argument shifts the focus from subjective feelings of reality to objective verifiability; instead of asking how real an entity feels, the proposed scientific approach asks what specific, testable information can be retrieved during these states.
To scientifically validate whether DMT entities are hallucinations or something more profound, the speaker outlines a rigorous seven-step methodology inspired by research into near-death experiences and "veridical perceptions." This protocol involves recruiting skilled psychonauts to undergo repeated high-dose DMT sessions in controlled environments where they attempt to contact entities. During these encounters, participants would be tasked with requesting specific real-world information—such as the location of a missing object or predictions about future events—that can be independently verified upon their return. The process emphasizes immediate documentation and third-party verification to ensure accuracy, addressing challenges like the brevity of DMT experiences by suggesting the use of continuous infusion techniques to stabilize contact for longer durations.
The ultimate significance of this proposed research lies in its falsifiability and potential to revolutionize our understanding of consciousness and reality. If repeated experiments consistently yield accurate information that cannot be explained by chance, memory leakage, or brain hallucinations, it would strongly suggest that human consciousness can access information outside the physical body or through channels beyond current scientific paradigms. Conversely, if no verifiable data is ever obtained despite rigorous testing, the hypothesis of non-hallucinatory entities would effectively be disproven. Either outcome offers profound insights: a failure to find evidence reinforces materialist views, while success could bridge ancient spiritual teachings with modern science and suggest that reality itself may be interdimensional or more expansive than currently understood.

DMT exploration could become the most
important technology in the history of
humankind if it actually allows us to
communicate with alien intelligence.
This is an extraordinary claim and it
comes from Dr. Andrew Galammore who's a
neuroscientist and one of the world
leading experts in the research of the
psychedelic compound NN
dimethylrypamine.
It sounds a bit absurd at first. I mean,
he's saying that a psychedelic could be
the most important technology in
history. What about electricity? What
about the internet? The James Webb
telescope. But think about this for a
moment. If humankind had a technology
that reliably allowed us to communicate
with other forms of intelligent life,
the most important technology in history
might not be an exaggeration.
What Galore is referring to, of course,
is the bizarre and persistent mystery of
DMT entity encounters.
For some strange reason, thousands of
DMT experiencers from all around the
world have reported that under the
influence of DMT, they encounter beings.
>> [music]
>> They report these out-of- body journeys
to seemingly alternate realms or
dimensions of existence beyond this
physical universe that are inhabited
that are full of life, other entities or
beings that seem real and conscious and
intelligent.
This is one of the greatest unsolved
mysteries in all of psychedelic research
and consciousness studies. Who or what
are these DMT entities? Are they all
just some hallucinations in the mind? Or
could they be real in a way that we have
yet to discover? Well, what if I told
you there's a way to [music] answer that
question to actually find out? In this
video, I'm going to propose a scientific
approach, a specific method that we
could use to test this question of are
DMT entities hallucinations [music] or
are they real? I am genuinely excited
for this video because in studying DMT
for over 10 years, I have never heard
anyone discuss this before. And we're
going to move the conversation forward
here [music] today because this research
could legitimately revolutionize our
[music] understanding of the nature of
reality, of the nature of consciousness
and our place in the cosmos.
So, let's dive in.
So, my name is Jonas and over the past
seven years, I've been working full-time
as a professional psychedelic guide or
facilitator.
DMT completely changed my entire life
and my worldview. And these entity
encounters were a big part of that. Now,
real quick, I just want to mention if
you're interested in exploring this
territory safely and skillfully, we have
a free psychedelic community where
myself and hundreds of other psychonauts
are supporting each other on the path.
the links below. I'd love to welcome you
there. Now, when it comes to these DMT
entities, modern science tells us that
these experiences are nothing more than
hallucinations in the brain. And to be
fair, that's a reasonable hypothesis. I
mean, that's absolutely a possibility.
But it's interesting to consider that
when we ask people who have actually
experienced DMT for themselves, they
overwhelmingly disagree with this idea
that these entities are all
hallucinations.
According to the largest ever study of
DMT experiencers, which had over 2,500
participants, 81% said that the DMT
experience felt more real than their
ordinary waking consciousness. Fewer
than 10% believe that it was a
hallucination entirely within their own
mind. And 72% of the sample believed
that the entities they encountered
continued to exist after their DMT
experience ended.
That is remarkable. I mean, what this
tells us is that DMT experiencers are
overwhelmingly saying these entities are
not just some hallucination. In fact,
this experience felt even more real than
my everyday human life. Dr. Rick
Strossman, who wrote DMT, the spirit
molecule, came to the same conclusion in
his research.
>> People under a high dose of DMT in our
work. They repeatedly and uniformly say
the experience is more real than real.
It's the it's the most real thing that's
ever happened to them. Um, that this
reality just seems like a dream compared
to the pure, you know, solidity and
convincing nature of what happens. um
under high dose of DMT.
>> I mean it's just fascinating, right?
This raises so many questions. But just
because something feels real doesn't
prove anything. If we want to approach
these DMT entities from a scientific
perspective, we have to ask a different
question. It's not how real do they
feel. The question we need to ask is
what kind of information can we bring
back? I'll explain what I mean. If we
briefly return to this same DMT study,
it also found that 89% [clears throat]
of entity encounters include some form
of communication.
69% of DMT experiencers reported
receiving a message and 19% even
reported receiving a prediction about
the future. And this is where things
start to get really interesting because
in some cases people describe receiving
specific concrete information from these
DMT entities that we could actually test
or verify. Just to give you an example,
one one participant in this study
reported the following during their DMT
experience. I thought about a missing
Zippo lighter for some reason and they
the entities flashed to me where it was.
When I came back, I went to that spot
deep inside a couch and grabbed it
perfectly. It was unreal.
So, here we have a person who's
reporting that they received accurate
realworld information from these DMT
entities. That's pretty interesting.
Now, just to be clear, this doesn't
prove anything. I mean, there's all
kinds of explanations here. There could
easily be chance, coincidence,
unconscious memories, right? But it
raises an astonishing possibility.
What if this could be repeated? What if
this could be replicated? What if this
wasn't just some oneoff chance or
coincidence?
Because if we could recreate this and
consistently or repeatedly bring back
real world information from these
entities, that would pose a serious
threat to the hypothesis that these
entities are all just hallucinations.
In order to illustrate this idea even
more clearly, it's helpful to briefly
look at a similar idea from a different
field of research. Stick with me here
for just a moment because we're going to
talk about near-death experiences.
Research into near-death experiences
actually has a term for this verifiable
information. It's called veritical
perceptions.
And veritical simply means accurate or
truthful, non-h hallucinatory. A
veritical near-death experience occurs
when a person has an NDE and during a
time that they're clinically dead or
unconscious or even comomaosse, they
report specific verifiable information
about real world events that they
shouldn't have any ordinary means of
knowing. I described this idea in a
little bit more detail in a previous
video I made. So, I'm just going to play
that clip for you now. So during their
near-death experience, an individual
floats out of their body, has an outof
body experience, is able to look around
the room or their environment and
perceive accurately events and details
that are real, that really happened or
were really there that can then be
independently verified.
such as one case in which a heart attack
victim described an out-of- body
experience where she floated up through
the ceiling of the hospital and saw a
peculiar object in a random location.
She saw a tennis shoe on the roof of the
hospital.
She was resuscitated and came back into
her body and she then reported to the
medical team exactly what she saw. She
described the precise location of the
tennis shoe, the precise appearance of
the tennis shoe, including the color of
the shoe. The medical staff was so
perplexed by this, by her insistence of
witnessing this, that they went and
checked and found that everything that
she said was 100% correct.
Now, if this was just one case, we could
try to explain it away as, you know,
accident, coincidence, lucky guess,
something. But there are hundreds and
hundreds of these cases documented in
research such as this article here where
near-death experiencers accurately
describe a conversation their spouse was
having miles away or what the doctors
were saying while they were being
resuscitated during a time that they're
unconscious and clinically dead.
In this article titled veritical
perception in near-death experiences,
researchers reviewed 93 reports of
physical events that people observed
during their near-death experience and
found that 86 or 90% were fully
accurate. Six of those cases contained
some error and only one was entirely
wrong.
These cases of veritical near-death
experiences are just extraordinary. I
mean, they're extremely compelling. Of
course, they're very controversial, but
there are dozens and dozens of these
cases that have been documented in the
scientific literature. It raises all
kinds of questions. Right now, for the
sake of this video, here's why this
matters. What if we could apply the same
idea of veritical perception to these
DMT entity encounters?
Here's why this matters, right? If our
consciousness could receive information
in a way that's not limited to the
physical brain or our physical body
sense experience.
Vertitical perception is the way that
science would detect that.
So all of this is setting the stage for
this specific methodology that I want to
propose for scientifically testing the
question are DMT entities
hallucinations? Right? I'll say one more
time, in years of studying DMT, I have
never heard anyone discuss anything like
this. And I genuin genuinely believe
this warrants serious consideration
because if this worked even one time,
that would change everything that we
know about the nature of consciousness.
So let's walk through this methodology
one step by step. Step one is to recruit
a team of psychonauts. This is our
astronaut team who we're sending to the
moon. So these people would have to be
qualified and competent. They would have
to have a proven history of safely
navigating non-ordinary states of
consciousness, right? And just be
grounded.
There is a real art to navigating the
psychedelic experience and bringing back
integrating real world information. So
these people would have to be skilled in
that sense. Step two would be highdosese
DMT experiences under controlled
conditions.
In order for this to work, we would need
more than just one DMT experience. We
would need to set up a protocol for
repeated or multiple highdosese DMT
experiences in a safe controlled
environment.
Step three is attempted entity contact.
So, the psychonauts would be tasked to
attempt to encounter and engage these
DMT entities and communicate with these
entities
over successive
experiences.
Might it be possible to encounter the
same being or the same types of beings?
Is it different beings in every
scenario? Is there a way that the
psychonauts could use the power of their
focus or their intention to encounter
the same beings to initiate contact with
a particular type of beings? Or is it
just different beings in every DMT
entity encounter? I I genuinely wonder
about these questions. These are very
interesting questions. But let's take
this even a step further. Step four
would be to request veritical
information. During these entity
encounters, the psychonauts would be
tasked to request veritical information
which meets certain criteria, right? It
would have to be specific real world
information that can be independently
verified. Examples of this could include
identifying the location of a missing
object, prediction of future events,
right? which is wild to consider, but
this has been documented in the DMT
research that sometimes people receives
predictions of future events.
The psychonaut would then return from
the journey and report to the research
team there is this missing object at
this specific location or this predicted
event will happen at this place and this
time right and that brings us to step
number five which is immediate
documentation.
Upon returning from the DMT journey the
psychonaut would report all the
information that they receive which
would be immediately recorded, preserved
and timestamped.
Step six is independent verification. As
part of this research program, there
would be an independent third-party
evaluator to assess to what degree is
this information actually accurate,
valid, veritical. If the psychonaut
reported the location of a missing item,
is it actually there? If they predicted
this future event to happen at this
time, does that actually come to pass?
Right? Then step seven would be
replication. This is maybe the most
important step because again if we just
have one hit so to speak where there is
one case of vertical perception in and
of itself it's it's phenomenal but it
doesn't mean all that much. It certainly
doesn't prove anything. However, if this
could be repeated, if this could be
replicated, if multiple psychonauts over
multiple journeys could bring back
veritical information consistently,
that would change everything. Now, I'll
just briefly mention one of the biggest
challenges to this is that the DMT
experience is so intense and brief and
short in duration. It's notoriously
difficult to stabilize in that
experience and bring back information.
Right? So I think that in order to
really make this work, we would also
have to use DMT extended state or DMT
continuous infusion, which is a method
to use carefully controlled continuous
administration of DMT to prolong the
experience so that the psychonaut could
be in this state for longer, stabilize,
connect with the entity, and
communicate. But maybe I'm getting ahead
of myself. That's a conversation for a
future video.
So there you have it. There's a method
that we can scientifically test whether
DMT entities are hallucinations or
something deeper. It feels important
just to say this that
this is a scientifically testable
question, right? And even though this
topic of DMT entities can be obscure and
kind of esoteric, it could lead to some
of the biggest breakthroughs in the
history of modern science and humankind,
proving that there is more to our
consciousness, more to reality than the
physical. Right? And here's the thing
that's interesting about this. If DMT
entities really are hallucinations,
this method won't work. There won't be
any hits. We won't get any veritical
information because it's hallucinations,
right? That's actually really important.
This is falsifiable,
right? So any outcome of this research
would yield specific
and meaningful information.
And consider for a moment the
extraordinary alternative that we do get
hits, that we do get veritical,
verifiable information from these
entities. Think about how extraordinary
that would be. [music] I mean, it
wouldn't prove automatically that these
DMT entities are real, but it would
prove that there's something going on
here that cannot be explained by a
hallucination.
Because somehow we would be receiving
information, real information from some
unknown means by some unknown channel
which would strongly suggest that there
is more to our consciousness than a
physical brain. And it would strongly
suggest that there is more to reality
than a physical universe. That could
revolutionize the entire scientific
paradigm of materialism.
My friends, what if reality is
interdimensional?
What if these DMT realms are real? What
if consciousness is interdimensional and
there's something to who and what we are
that does not begin at birth and does
not die at death.
If we feel into that,
that is powerful. that is massively
expansive [music]
of our worldview and it builds a bridge
between modern science and what ancient
mystics and spiritual teachers have been
sharing for thousands of years that is
revolutionary. So, we've covered a lot
of ground today. We've gone far. As
always, I would love to hear your
thoughts and reflections down below.
What do you make of all this? Do you
think that this methodology could
actually yield some interesting
findings? [music]
