Video summary
The video features a detailed unboxing and review of the Air Jordan 6 Retro PSG Metallic Silver, released to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the original model. The presenter, DJ from the DNA Show, begins by showcasing the shoe's packaging, which features a black top half and a gray bottom half with silver Jumpman and PSG branding on the lid. Upon opening the box, he reveals the sneaker wrapped in protective layers before diving into the history of the collaboration. He notes that while Jordan Brand has released various iterations annually since their 2018 partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), this specific release stands out as a Jubilee edition, drawing design inspiration from the black and silver aesthetic of the Jubilee Air Jordan 11s.
In terms of construction and materials, the reviewer highlights that the entire upper is covered in a chromed-out leather that gives the shoe an all-silver appearance, though he describes the texture as feeling somewhat synthetic rather than premium. Key design elements include a classic gray outsole with translucent pods, silver paint on the midsole, and chrome accents on the lace lock and heel tab. Inside the shoe, the sock liner is black with silver PSG branding, while the tongue features gray Air Jordan text. The presenter points out that despite being a collaboration, the insole is a standard Dream Cell rather than a specialized polyurethane material, suggesting that the lack of unique internal tech might be one reason some collectors were hesitant to purchase the shoe at retail price.
The host concludes his review by emphasizing the importance of buying sneakers at a discount, especially for models like this that may not hold their retail value well over time. He shares an Instagram poll result where a majority of viewers rated the shoe as "trash," yet he maintains that it is a clean and stylish option perfect for standing out in futuristic outfits or special events. Ultimately, he expresses satisfaction with his purchase because he waited for a sale, reinforcing his channel's broader message about financial literacy and smart shopping strategies to help viewers build assets and achieve early retirement while still enjoying their passion for sneakers.

Now, y'all know I love my Air Jordan 6s
and I cannot wait to pick these up, but
I had to be patient for that discount
and now we finally got the shoe. Now, on
the top of the box you'll see it's all
black and the bottom half is gray. This
is actually going to be similar to
something that we talk about in the
history part of the video in just a
second. Now, in the center of the lid
you're going to see you got your silver
Jumpman logo and then your PSG branding
just around that on the top and bottom.
On the front and back end of the lid
you'll see your Jumpman and your air in
silver as well and the size tag reads
Air Jordan 6 Retro PSG metallic silver
size 13 just for me. And flipping open
the lid of the box you're going to see
you have your black plastic paper here
and then peeling that back you have a
set of white paper right there. And then
peeling that back you got the shoe. Oh,
yeah, got the shoe. Oh, yeah, and if you
didn't know by now, my name is DJ and
this is the DNA show. On this channel I
love to talk about sneakers giving you
guys in-depth reviews and on foots and
comparisons, but most importantly taking
financial literacy to the next level
creating content or building businesses
and using that to leverage for more
assets and eventually be able to retire
early so then you could buy more shoes.
So, if that's something that you like,
make sure you guys hit that subscribe
button and join the fam. Now, before we
get into all the details of this shoe
because I know it looks so simple, but
trust me there's some cool features. You
know we got to go over the history
first. Back in 1991 we saw the Air
Jordan 6 hit the streets in five
original colorways. The white and the
black infrared, the carmines, the
September blues, and the maroon 6s.
Since then it feels like we have seen
hundreds of different colorways, styles,
options, and cuts and iterations over
the years. And back in 2018 with Jordan
Brand's partnership with PSG, they
decided to release the Air Jordan 5 in
the black colorway. I no longer have
that pair in my collection anymore
because I ended up getting the friends
and family pair, but honestly I wouldn't
mind if I got the other pair back. And
from that point basically every year we
have gotten a new Jordan iteration, but
there have definitely been a couple that
have been more of an outlier compared to
all the other releases. And I feel like
the PSG 4 in particular is a lot of
people's favorite out of the bunch. Very
simple, very clean, nice little twist,
and I love how they added this rubber
back tab on the end cuz that won't tear
up your Achilles. So, it's basically
become a norm now for PSG to drop a new
shoe every single year, and I feel like
it's just been slowly fizzling away.
Like, everybody's not as hyped up in the
colorways and the models haven't been as
great. But then when I saw this Air
Jordan 6, I was personally hyped. This
shoe is not only a representation of
PSG, but this actually falls into the
category of the Jubilee of the Air
Jordan 6 and 35-year anniversary. As you
guys remember from the Jubilee Air
Jordan 11s, there was a black with a
silver vibe, and so was the box. Well,
as you noticed from the box like I
showed you earlier, they played on that
same theme and gave us that all chromed
out version here on the Air Jordan 6.
So, it kind of made sense, but not at
the same time as they tied different
elements from the other releases to
different parts of PSG. But with this
being an anniversary and they wanted to
show love with the collaboration, again,
I'm not mad at it, but I can definitely
see why some collectors decided not to
pick these up. Any you guys out there
that are content creators or business
owners that are trying to figure out how
to make more money online, I want to
give you guys the exact playbook that I
would use if I was starting over today.
And I mean the actual playbook that I
used to take my business from 10,000 to
130,000 in the first year of creating
content. I created the Profit Playbook
to sit you down and look at where you
are right now. It'll give you clarity on
your biggest opportunities, but most
importantly, leave you with the actual
plan of action. You got zero followers,
you've already been creating, or you
have a business and you're trying to
scale it with social media, this process
works the same for everybody. So, when
you join, the first thing I want you to
do is open the Profit Playbook, and
there's a video that I help walk you
through it step by step so you're not
trying to figure it out by yourself.
Give yourself about a day or two to
actually work through it, and this will
break down where you are, what you're
trying to build, and how your content
will fit into it, and where the money
will come from. But most importantly,
what you should actually do next. That's
where a lot of people get stuck. You
don't need 100 more ideas, there's
plenty of those online. You need clarity
on your next three to maybe five steps,
and once you complete the Profit
Playbook, you will have full clarity on
what to do next. After that, you go
execute. If you feel stuck, don't worry,
you can ask questions inside of the
community, you can message me inside of
there, or you can bring them to the live
workshop calls every Sunday. And that's
why I built this more than just a
course. I want you to actually have the
plan, the support, and the community to
help you get there. Where we have over
1,400 like-minded entrepreneurs. Take
the next 1 to 2 3 days to fill out the
Profit Playbook, build your action plan,
and start executing. And if you hit a
wall, don't worry, we'll be here to help
you get through it. So, click the link
down below in the description. Let's
figure out exactly what your next move
is. All right. I'll see you guys on the
inside. Starting with the bottom of the
shoe, you're going to see your classic
Air Jordan 6 outsole. This time you have
your all gray rubber throughout, your
black Jumpman in the center, and then
your milky translucent outsole pods here
on the front and back. Wrapping up to
the side of foot, you're going to see
the same thing. It's not actually white,
but it's a very very light gray. And
then you have your silver paint here on
the other parts of the midsole. Now,
going to the upper, when it comes to the
actual materials in this all over
chromed out leather. Honestly, it feels
very synthetic, not like a crazy like
nice PE or anything like that. And I can
see why, again, people chose not to pick
these up. Now, besides that, if you look
at the materials on the upper,
everything is pretty much identical
throughout the entirety of the shoe. And
then on the center of the foot, you have
your classic Air Jordan 6 materials, all
silver as well with the silver Jumpman.
Same thing here with the lace lock, you
got your silver Jumpman there with the
chrome lace lock. Rubber at the top of
the tongue is going to be with your Air
Jordan branding here in gray as well.
And on the inside of the sock liner, as
you can tell with the theme, all silver
there, too. Now, one thing that they did
do a switch up is going to be on the
sock liner, and that's going to be all
black with your silver PSG branding. And
this is a dream cell insole, so nothing
crazy, even though it is a
collaboration. I know sometimes we get
on those type of collaborations,
polyurethane insole, but either way, I
can see why they kind of just let this
one go. And I feel like there just
wasn't a big push behind this shoe. Now,
going to the back end of the shoe,
you're going to notice this silver
branding here instead of your Nike Air
or your Jumpman. And technically, there
is a Jumpman on here, but it's a rubber
piece, and that's all chromed out as
well with the same logo like you guys
saw on the top of the lid or the same
thing on the inside of the sock liner.
Overall, I bought this shoe because I
like it. It's I I feel like it's a clean
shoe if you really think about it. It's
definitely going to be something wild to
wear with a dope outfit and stand out
and you know, wherever I go for this
event. I'm looking forward to rocking
this to some type of event or something.
That's what it reminds me of or some
futuristic stuff or something. So, for
me, I was happy to grab these but again,
only at the discounted price. I didn't
want to pay retail on these. I had to
make sure I caught them on sale. Hey,
sorry to interrupt. Just wanted to let
you guys know we have a special deal
going on with Apothecary now. So, if you
use the discount code DNA Show, that's
going to get you guys a discount on all
your orders from their website. Also,
I'm going to have everything linked down
below underneath the video and in the
pinned item section where you can
purchase directly from this video as
well. One thing that I love about the
Apothecary socks is they have the Iso
weave material and it is so good. It has
a great comfort, flex, and even good for
me at a size 13. So again, use the
discount code DNA Show and if you ever
plan on rocking any socks, make sure you
guys tag me on Instagram.
So, I posted a poll on my Instagram
story like I always do. If you haven't
already, follow me on IG. We post the
polls there. We share the results here.
This is what the people said. 30% of the
people chose fire and 70% of the people
chose trash. That
That's usually some of the worst
percentile that we usually get when it
comes to videos like this or any types
of polls. If it's always tell people if
it's like close to the 20% or like low
30s or mid 30s, that's typically like
worst sneaker of the year category.
Damn, y'all. Is it that bad? Nah, it's
okay. This is proves my point though. At
the end of the day, buy what you like.
That's the most important thing and get
the best deals that you possibly can,
especially on something that you know is
not going to be going for that retail
value. We always want to put yourself in
the best position to get the best deals
and that way, if you wear it or
something happens to the shoe or if it
goes down in value a little bit, you're
not mad because you didn't lose half the
value of the shoe. You got it for half
off, 70% off, 30% off, 20% off, whatever
it may be. We always want to put you in
that best position. So, I feel like this
is a great example for a sneaker like
this. But, besides that, I think the
shoe looks great on foot. I'm excited to
rock them, and overall, I'm a happy
camper at the end of the day. Now, is
this going to land on my top 10 sneakers
of the year? Probably not, but that's
okay.

aware today.
I would never let you down. It's
