Okay, good morning and welcome to class everyone. Let's pray and we'll begin. Maybe I'll request one of the ladies to lead in prayer. You don't mind. >> Let's pray. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Father. Thank you for giving this wonderful time, Father God. Lord, as we are going to learn book of Acts, Father God, give more wisdom to understand each and every word and verse, Father God. Lord, you be with us, Father God, and lead us and guide us, Father God. You pour out your spirit upon us, Father God. And also, Father God, whatever we we have learned, Father God, Lord, give a heart to keep each and everything, Father God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Each one of us I just I just submit into your mighty hands, Father God. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. >> Thank you. So, can someone share what we were discussing? What is going on right now in the book of Acts? So, we stopped at chapter 3. Yes. Yes, Mike, if you can use the mic, please. >> Uh we saw that uh Peter and John they they were going in temple and they saw the lame man uh So, they healed him Uh in Jesus' name. >> Yes. >> And he was Uh he was like from his birth he was not able to walk. So So from 40 years so he got healed. >> Yes. So uh that's right. Uh but would we say that Peter and John healed him or how would we word it? >> Uh like Jesus God healed but through Peter and John. >> Peter and John. Or we can say that Peter and John ministered healing. Is this a healing? >> miracle >> Yeah, technically it would be a miracle because he was not able to walk from birth. What else did we did we learn? What did you understand by this miracle? >> Uh what I understand is uh even Peter when he did miracle he didn't told by himself but he called out Jesus Christ's name and he that he told that that miracle happened through Jesus Christ. >> Yes. Okay. So he gave glory to God. He did not receive the glory to himself. That is something we learn. What else do we learn from this incident? >> Then after that the all the people gather and they're they're like marvel then Peter explain them this and all happened by faith and he explains that and all. >> Yes. So when the people marveled he took an opportunity to present the gospel. So we observe this as a pattern. Even earlier when the people were watching the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Peter took that as an opportunity to preach the gospel. So, the passion to preach the gospel is something that you see in the book of Acts. Doesn't it feel like a revival? It does. Okay. So, they are so on fire for the Lord, and the way Jesus gave the Great Commission, they are willing to go and do that work. Why didn't this man get healed when Jesus was there? Because we know that Jesus also went to the temple. Why do you think he didn't get healed? Jesus could have healed him. But, why? >> Um G- I think Jesus was waiting for um to be him to be glorified and send the Holy Spirit, so that you know, um um this miracle could be done through his disciples. This could be an opportunity for them uh to do his work on the earth. >> Okay. So, um Jesus wanting the disciples to minister this miracle, that is one way of looking at it. Thank you, Renata, for pointing that out. But, what we do have as a basis in the gospels is Jesus always said, I do what I see the Father do. So, Jesus never overtook the Father. So, that's a lesson for us today, when we talk about kingdom building. We have to be led by the voice of God. It's not about whatever we want to do. You remember in that uh kingdom um kingdom of God, when you studied from that uh book, there is one very important thought there, like Abraham, when he birthed Isaac, Isaac is the son of promise, but Ishmael is the son of the flesh. And what is the problem when we birth from the flesh? The son of the flesh is against the work of uh promise. So, we are not here to do whatever we feel like. Instead, we are here to do what God wants us to do. And in the life of Jesus, that is so real. Even though Jesus could have just gone about doing anything he wished to, and it would have still been right. Jesus chose to do the will of the Father, 100% to the last letter. So, that is a lesson for us. So, that's why we say everyday seeking God, being in the word of God, maintaining an environment of worship, going after the anointing, all those things are very necessary for us. Because that's when we will hear what God wants us to do, and we will do only that. So, Jesus did only what he heard the Father to. No wonder he did not minister to this man. Maybe Father never showed him. But, this opportunity, as Renita said, was for the disciples to take over. And so, they came and ministered. Okay. So, we saw all this. And this man is jumping, he's rejoicing in in which place? Solomon's porch. So, where is Solomon's porch? Yes, it is in the like the compound around the temple. So, what is gate beautiful? Entrance to the temple. Okay. And why is it called gate beautiful? Yes, it was made with uh brass with beautiful um hand work. So, that is why it is called as the gate beautiful. And beggars or people begging for alms would sit at the gate beautiful and they would reach out to anyone who's entering into the temple. So, we have a good idea now what was going on. Okay. So, how many how many years is it past Jesus' ascension? How long after the ascension of Jesus? Okay, you remember when we started we we classified already. And we said the first seven to eight chapters are how many years? >> Eight years. >> Eight years. Eight years. So, we are we don't know the exact timing right now. But it's something like maybe we're just guessing with three years, four years, around there. So, is the church growing? Yes, church is growing. When was the church birthed? The day of Pentecost with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. How many people were there in church? Yeah, at that point 120. After the outpouring of the Holy Spirit? 3,000 people. Were they added to the church in one day? Yes, it was one uh, 24-hour day. So, it's possible. God can do it. Once people repented, what did what did the disciples do for them? One more thing. One is believing, accepting Christ, and Yes, baptism in water. So, you see how the church is proceeding. They're also baptizing in water. All right. So, now a great miracle has taken place and Peter is standing up and preaching about Jesus. What response do we expect? It's a great miracle. So, what response do we expect from the people? Persecution. Okay, but don't you think we expect a good response? Miracle has taken place. This man couldn't walk for 40 years. So, based on this, the whole city should turn to God. That is our expectation as believers. So, here is Peter. He's pray He's uh preaching. He's saying, "Repent and be converted." Acts 3:19. And he says, "When we repent and we uh uh turn to God, times of refreshing will come." So, when will times of refreshing come? When we repent. So, that's why when we look at all the revivals, there is an element of preaching the gospel, people turning to God, people coming and crying, confessing their sins. Following this is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. So, times of refreshing is what? Nothing but outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit is the one who brings life. He's the one who brings reviving of our vision, of uh hope, and uh uh you know, a purpose for life itself. So, when Peter is declaring all these things, um unfortunately, we don't see only a positive response. People are not that open. Right? So, let's read on. Let's see what happens. So, we completed chapter 3. And Peter was very clearly uh preaching about Jesus. So, now we are in chapter 4. We could read through the uh passage. So, let's read till verse 22. Maybe two people can read. One person 11 verses and another person 11 verses. Yes. >> Chapter 4 from verse 1. Now, as they spoke to people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them, being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus and resurrection from the dead. And they laid hands on them and put them in custody until the next day, for it was already evening. However, many of those who heard the word believed, and number of the men came uh to be about 5,000. And it was come to pass on the next day that their rulers, elders, and scribes, as well as well as uh Annas, uh the high priest, and uh Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the family of high priest were gathered together at Jerusalem. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, "By what power or by what name have you done this?" Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, and said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders of Israel, if we this day are judged for a good deed done to a help uh helpless man, by what means he has been made well, let it be known to you all and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised uh from the dead by him this man stands here before you all. This is the This is the stone which were rejected by your builders which has become the chief cornerstone. >> Yes. >> Nor is there salvation in any others for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled and they realized that they had been with Jesus. And sorry. And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had command command them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves saying, "What shall we do to do this man? For indeed that a notable miracle has been done through them. It is evident to all who dwells in Jerusalem and we cannot deny it but so that it is is spread not forth forth among the people, but let us severely threaten them that that from now on they speak to no man in this name. And they called them and command them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." So, when they had uh further turned them, they let them go finding no way of punishing them because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done. For the man was over 40 years old on whom this miracles of healing had been performed. >> Yes, we can stop here. Yeah, thank you. So, Kishan Pradeep, so now let us see what response is given. So, we said that it would have been nice if people rejoiced in the miracle and uh um if not the whole city, half of the city at least come to worship Jesus. But that was not the case. There is persecution instead. So, it's so challenging. You think about it, if you were Peter, how would you feel? You on the one hand you would feel excited that God is working through you, but on the other hand, you would feel sad because people are still not understanding the power of God. And where is all this happening? Which city are we talking about? Jerusalem. So, many like even later when we discuss, we will say Church of Jerusalem. With the leadership as Peter, John, and the other apostles. So, all this is happening through the Church of Jerusalem. There is a church which is being mightily used by God. The apostles are moving in uh miracle signs and wonders. Uh but, the response in the city is not all positive. So, here, in chapter 4, we see that when Peter was speaking, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them. Came upon them is a way of forcefully coming to take them with anger. Why do you think the authorities are upset? It's a good miracle, no? So, why why should they be upset about it? Yes, they're lifting up the name of Jesus. And uh even at the time when Jesus was there, they they felt threatened. That if people start following Jesus, then what happens to the authority which they have in the uh in the government. So, there was that insecurity. Maybe they thought, "Oh, these people have now come, followers of Jesus. They will take over. So, we better be careful." So, now, angrily, they've come, they've taken. And it says they were greatly disturbed uh when they heard that uh these people preach in the name of Jesus and about the resurrection from the dead. So, notice, there is a mention of Sadducees. What did Sadducees believe? You remember? Pharisee, Sadducee. So, uh Sadducees don't believe in resurrection. So, that's another problem. They didn't like the teaching of Peter and John. Now, when they laid hands on them, in other words, they they took them forcefully and they put them in custody until the next day. So, what is happening is it is evening time and in the evening they don't have trials. So, then they have to wait for the next day when the court is functioning. So, Peter and John are in jail. They're in custody. They're in jail. They are accused, not yet convicted, waiting for the next day. So, on the next day the trial happens. And verse four says, "Many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of men came to be about 5,000." So, you see that on the one hand, persecution is taking place, on the other hand, church is growing. No matter what, in every situation the church is thriving. So, that again is a feature of revival. We said people are repenting, Holy Spirit is being poured out, leaders and believers are moving in signs, wonders, and miracles, and people are being added to the church. Did we read anywhere else that people are being added to the church? >> No. >> Yeah, now, of course, I'm asking earlier, before. >> Was it the 3,000 that were added to the church? >> 3,000 that's added to the on the Pentecostal day. >> Okay. Anywhere else? >> Uh actually after the >> to >> You remember we read that the fellowship was so blessed. They were sharing. They were spending time in the doctrine. They were participating in the communion and daily people are being added to the church. So that's why I said it's a growing church. And now, how many people as far as Acts 4 is concerned? 5,000 people. So the church is multiplying. So praise God for that. So that's the positive part. Now, the next day you have the authorities. They all come together. So it's a combination of the government officials. It says rulers, elders, scribes. And you have the high priest. Okay. So Annas the high priest. You also have Caiaphas, John, and Alexander. Now, some like Caiaphas, does that name sound familiar? Yes? Okay, from where do you do you think you recall this name? Have you heard this name before? Yes, where did you hear this name before? Yes, so Jesus when he was under trial, he also comes through this Caiaphas. So he is the one who kind of you can say prophesied that Jesus is going to suffer and die. So Caiaphas is also part of the trial of Jesus. Because the timeline is not very long. Recently Jesus was crucified and now these kind of things are happening. So, Caiaphas is also there. So, obviously for him he's able to connect, "Oh, these people are just like that man Jesus." Right? Uh but who is the high priest at this time? Annas, the high priest, and then you have Caiaphas, John, Alexander. And uh these people were all gathered together and the question which they are asking is "By what power or by what name have you done this?" Verse 7. Sometimes we we see that the world is upside down when God is doing a good miracle, why are people not able to see it? Instead of praising, glorifying God, they're getting angry, interrogating, "By what power, by what name did you do this?" That's the question. Right? And look at Peter. Verse 8 says, "Peter filled with the Holy Spirit." So, there are many moments in our lives where we can be filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts chapter 2 was a time when they were filled with the Holy Spirit and overflowing. But even now they're being filled with the Holy Spirit. So, is it possible for us to be filled with the spirit over and over again? Yes. So, there is one baptism, but there are many infillings. So, Peter is filled with the Holy Spirit in this difficult moment and by the power of the spirit he starts to answer the people. Do you recall anything that Jesus said earlier in his ministry? He had told that don't be afraid. When you stand in front of synagogues, when you stand in front of rulers, I will give you the words. You'll be able to speak. So now, when Peter and John are in this tough time, Holy Spirit is giving them the words. So they are not afraid. And they are answering the question by what name, by what power have you done this? So Peter is giving an answer. He says, "Rulers of the people and elders of Israel, if we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well." See, even Peter is upset. He's like, "For a good deed, you are questioning us. Okay, fine. We'll answer you." And you know, he goes on. "Let it be known to you all and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him this man stands here before you whole." What do you think about this answer? Would we speak like this? It's It's very bold. So, Peter is filled with the Holy Spirit and he's filled with the spirit of boldness. It's that same Peter who denied Jesus three times to save his life. But today, he's a different man. He's not afraid of death also. So, he's responding and he's saying, "Okay, I'll answer your question directly, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth." You see this man well and good. Okay? And uh Yeah, and he also goes on to make it a point that he clarifies that Jesus is the Messiah. So, in verse 11, he uses an Old Testament uh passage and he says the stone which was rejected by you builders. So, they would have understood, "Oh, is he saying that Jesus is the Christ?" He was actually saying that Jesus is the Christ. Which has become the chief cornerstone. And verse 12, as if all this was not enough, first he brought the name of Jesus, second he quoted Old Testament, now third he say salvation is not found in any other name. No other name under heaven is given to men by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus. So, this is very bold preaching in front of the authorities. So, when the authorities are looking at Peter and John, look at verse 13. You know, they tell that how come these men are so bold? And they recognize who is this Peter, what is his profession? He's just a fisherman. You know, Peter, John, who are these people? They are not even Pharisees or learned men. So, the authorities are saying they are uneducated and untrained men. But, looking at their boldness, the authorities are marveling. You see the work of the spirit in the in the lives of Peter and John. You know, sometimes I mean, we are not against education, we are not against equipping, it's all helpful. And in today's world when you know, you have everything at your fingertips, whether people go to university or not, some people are self-taught, they are spending hours and learning. It's a good thing. But even when somebody is so-called uneducated, untrained, but filled with the spirit, God can use them powerfully. God can cause them to stand before kings and respond with courage and clarity. So, that is what is happening to Peter and John. They are not afraid of anybody. And they are literally telling the authorities in the name of Jesus. You do whatever you want to do. Right? And the authorities are like, "From which university did you get this boldness, guys? Like, we would like to know." Right? Uneducated, untrained men, but they come to a conclusion. And what is that conclusion? In verse 13, they say, "They have been with Jesus." So, where did this courage come from? Where did this wisdom come from? Tell me. By being with Jesus. So, today, when you and I spend time in the word, you and I spend time in God's presence, you and I are filled with the Holy Spirit, do you think we can carry the same boldness and courage? Absolutely. So, the key is being with Christ. That is the place from where we receive our confidence to serve God. And that's what was happening to Peter and John. But one more wonderful thing that worked in the favor of Peter and John is the miracle. So, verse 14 says that the authorities, when they saw the man healed standing with them, they could not say anything. So, this gives us uh we learn the lesson a genuine miracle. Right? Why why are we saying genuine miracle? Because it's real. Nobody can question it. There's enough and more evidence. 40 years they have seen this man. He could not walk. His family, friends, everyone going to the temple have seen him. But today he's able to walk. You can't deny that. So, a genuine miracle is a powerful testimony. So, Peter and John, the authorities, if it was not a genuine miracle, suppose that man again he sat down. Then Peter and John would be in trouble. But the authorities are not able to do anything. The miracle itself is a testimony. So, they are like you know, their their mouth is quiet. They don't know what to do. If we question everybody knows that miracle has happened. They will think that something is wrong with us as the authorities. So, they are in a fix now. These people are so bold. At the same time the miracle is very real. The man is right here. So, here the lesson we learn is we don't have to help God when he does miracles. You know, sometimes we try to do that. We'll say a prophetic word and then we'll keep checking or we'll be like uh uh is it really a a healing? You know, are we sure about it? Well, when a supernatural work of God is done, it's a testimony in itself. And it proclaims God's greatness. Nobody can question it. So, we must pray for more and more of genuine miracles of God. Unfortunately, in the Christian world people even manufacture miracles and today because we are watching on video, we really don't know. Is it true? Is it not true? But when something is true and real, it's life-changing. And we all know many of our families have come to Christ because of a healing or a miracle. So, a genuine miracle is so powerful. The authorities that they could not do anything to Peter and John because it was a real. The man was standing right before them. And at this point when they don't know what to do, um they they commanded these people to step aside. And we read that they conferred among themselves in verse 15 meaning they're discussing now. What shall we do? If we take action, we will be in trouble. Because uh this miracle is real. So, what they decide to do is let us not put them behind the bars or uh beat them up or anything like that. What we will do is we will just threaten them. We'll tell them don't speak. Speak to no man in this name. That's all. Warning. That should be more than sufficient. So, they warned the uh they warned Peter and John. But what is the response of Peter and John? So, they told them don't speak in this name. Don't teach in this name, the name of Jesus. But what is Peter responding? >> They're not Yeah, they are called and commanded, but uh Peter has to respond, no? Mhm. Yes, so Peter and John at this point are saying, "If you ask us to stop proclaiming what we know about Christ, it's not going to happen." Meaning, "Sorry, we can't listen to you." Okay, that again is even more bold on their part. But don't you think the Bible tells us to pray for uh pray for the ruler, pray for the authorities? Remember the authorities in prayer. Uh Romans says that. Uh and Timothy, Paul writing to Timothy says, "Pray for all the the leaders." Then why is it okay to defy authorities like this? Is it right? So, whenever the authorities tell us to do something against God, like don't worship God or worship someone else, those are times that we cannot listen. Right? Everything else which is lawful, we can listen. We have to listen. But when we are being asked not to worship God himself, and you know, do his work, then that is something we cannot listen. Do you remember Daniel? Do you remember Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? They were thrown into the fire for their so-called disobedience. But those were also men of God who stood for what is right in their generation. Now, Peter and John are doing the same thing. They are saying, "No, if you're telling us not to preach in the name of Jesus, we cannot do that. Sorry." So, they are defying the command given by the authority. So, in such circumstances, we will need to stand up for God. Okay? Um and uh Anyway, the authorities could not do anything, but they thought that if we punish them, people will turn against us. So, let us just threaten them and let them go. We'll see like what happens next time. So, thank God this time Peter and John escaped uh without any harm to their life. So, they are free now. And uh uh Uh in the previous chapter, chapter three, we don't read about the age of the man, but here in verse 22, I had mentioned to you, later we'll come to know his age. So, his age is 40 years. So, he had not walked, and uh finally, after 40 years, he is walking. Do you think he he started attending uh the church of Jerusalem? Mostly. Most likely, he also would have become a believer and uh attending the church. So, this is how things went. So, in the situation of persecution, what is the next thing that Peter and John do? So, that we have in the uh following passage. So, um if you want to read through, you can read through because you'll have better understanding. So, we'll read from verse 23 to verse 31. >> And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. So, when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said, "Lord, you are God, who made heaven and the earth, and the sea, and all that is in them, who by who by the mouth of your servant David have said, 'Why did the nations rage, and and the people of Lord vain against vain things?' The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His Christ. For truly against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel were gathered together to do whatever your hand and your purpose determined before to be done. Now, Lord, look look on their heart, look on their threats, and grant to your servants that with all boldness they may speak your word, by stretching out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they where they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. >> Yes. So, now Peter and John have been sent away after threatening. The place that they choose to go to is their own brethren or the church family. And they go there, and what happens? They choose to pray. Verse 24 says um they they report all these things. Verse 23, they reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. And the church family joins them in prayer. So, verse 24, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said So, here you have certain prayer requests they are presenting to God. But the Bible says they all raised their voice. But they prayed with one accord. So, is it possible that everyone said the same thing? No. Right? I don't think so the same words came out of everybody's mouth. But the they were in agreement. So, when we say one accord, it means agreement. So, they're all you can imagine they're all praying loudly. But maybe there is one person who's leading out in prayer and they're all in agreement with that prayer. So, their hearts are saying the same thing to God. So, they they have a one voice unto the Lord. And they are saying Lord, you are the God who has made everything. And um um you know, there's nobody greater than you. So, they begin by exalting God and then they move on to say that look on the threats of these people. And what they have done to us. So, are they upset? Are they sad? They are. They're concerned and they're looking to God for comfort. But at the same time, there are two things that they are asking God for. One is they say that give us boldness. Grant to your servants verse 29 um that with all boldness they may speak your word. Think about it. This is the the main first prayer request that they have. They already got into trouble because of boldness. But, what are they asking God for? More boldness. You know, sometimes you wonder when you read the book of Acts, what are these people made of? They are so amazing. Instead of getting scared, instead of telling the church community from today, let's shut down, let's all be quiet, be careful, protect yourself. That's not the kind of message. Message is, let's pray to God, let God give us more boldness. So, in a season of persecution, what is happening to the church? It's becoming stronger. For the enemy, as in the spiritual enemy is thinking, if I threaten the church, church will become weak. But, opposite is happening. Enemy is trying to weaken the church, but the church is becoming stronger and stronger each day. So, they're praying to God and they're saying, God, give us more boldness that we can proclaim in the name of Jesus. Second thing what they're asking is, by stretching out your hand to heal, that signs, wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus. So, prayer point number two, greater manifestation of the supernatural. You see, at the time of persecution, this is what the church is asking. We want to be bold, we want to be filled with the power of God. Because, even in this situation, when they saw 40-year-old man is supernaturally uh um touched, they're not able to say anything. So, imagine what will happen if miracle after miracle takes place in the church? People will not be able to do anything because it's very real. The supernatural work of God is real. So, what are the two prayer requests? Boldness and supernatural. Two things they pray for. Okay. And at that time when they prayed on to God, verse 31, it's a it's a powerful a scripture. It says, the place where they were assembled together was shaken. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness. So, sometimes there are physical manifestations of God's power. Even in Acts 2, we we heard a sound of a rushing mighty wind. It's like a physical manifestation. And in this situation when they are praying together, the ground is shaken. Has anybody experienced any physical manifestation any point? Okay. No, not really. So, I don't think I have, but I saw one preacher, one elderly gentleman. He was preaching to youth about the baptism in the Holy Spirit. And I saw it on video and this is an old video, so hopefully it's not manufactured. So, when he's just talking about the baptism in the Holy Spirit, he goes to Acts chapter 2. And then he starts to say, you know, the sound of a rushing mighty wind. The moment he starts saying it, a wind starts blowing and you know, everything on the stage his papers are flying and some of the props which are kept on stage are falling down. It literally happened in that moment and it's not even windy season. But it was a physical manifestation of some sort. So, there are times when God wants to give us a reassurance with a physical manifestation as well. It can happen, but we let God work whichever way he wants to. But is a physical manifestation always necessary? It's not. Our faith is beyond it. Whether there is a manifestation or no manifestation, we believe. But thank God there are times when God will will just show that I'm there. Have you read about the Azusa Street Revival? Yes. So, in the Azusa Street Revival, there are testimonies like when people were praying that house where they were, people who are walking outside, they could see it on fire. Right? And they even called the fire engine to put off the fire, but it was not a physical fire. You see? These are natural manifestations that sometimes God presents. So, if it happens, we welcome it, thank God for it, but even if it doesn't happen, our faith is much more than that. So, we are not looking for physical manifestations. But for the church that day, maybe they were very sad, very broken, very upset. So, God wanted to reassure them. And there was a physical manifestation. The place where they were was shaken suddenly. And God filled them with the Holy Spirit and they spoke with boldness. So, we'll stop here and then we'll pick up from the rest of the scriptures. Yeah.
