Aaron, you take the season series from the Red Sox. Just how big of a win did this feel like this time of the year? >> Yeah, look um you know, obviously this time of year both teams are playing for a lot. Um you know, you want to get as many wins as you can and uh obviously within the division they matter a little bit more. Um so it's great to take a a tough series especially when you have a double header mixed in there, when you're bringing pitching back and you're kind of trying to navigate innings with your pitching. So guys did a great job of coming out today and and really um you know, [clears throat] finishing off a a great series and in a great way to head out head out west. >> Hey, you mentioned that pitching. Will Warren works into the eighth inning knowing you had a short bullpen. Just how great was that to have him go so deep in the game and what made him so incredibly effective today? >> Yeah, he had great stuff today. Probably maybe his best outing of the year um and it came at a great time. You know, we're we're short today. You know, you you go into days like this sometimes and first thing is you want to get through it and you're like, "I'm not sure how we're going to get to the finish line." But it starts with Will Warren giving us some quality innings and not only did he do that but get us into the eighth inning and for us to get a big lead like that was um it was a great day. >> When you traded for Ramos, the expectation was that he was going to help you against lefties. For him to have his first Yankee home run finally faced a bunch of lefties. Just what did you think of his series as a whole? >> Great. Um you know, he was thrown into a tough situation first going to a new team and then you're we're facing a thousand righties in a row. Belly's on the IL so you know, uh to finally get him in some match-ups that he's here for. Um he had a great weekend. I don't know how many times he was on base. I know it was a lot all weekend and uh and and I think the biggest blow of the day today with that three-run homer that really uh really sent us off. >> He said he really needed that one and you saw the joy as he rounded the bases. For you to just watch that, just describe what that's like. >> Yeah, he was he was pretty fired up. I was I was waiting for a dismount around third. I know he's pretty pumped, but it was a big homer. And I think all of us obviously are very excited for him because we know what a meaningful role he can play on this team. >> It seems like he could just wake up and hit lefties. What impresses you most about Goldschmidt and lefties? >> Yeah, he's just got a great approach. Great hitter. Does a good job of really controlling the zone against them. He's outstanding at you know, having a plan for for each one that he's going to face. He can hit the ball with authority the other way, which helps.
