A MASSIVE JURASSIC DINOSAUR Experience In Singapore! | Universal and Gardens by the Bay
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video documents an immersive visit to the new Jurassic World experience located within Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, a location that has recently joined the franchise's global footprint alongside parks in London and Osaka. The host expresses excitement about seeing the attraction just before its temporary closure, noting that while Singapore was not initially on their travel list, the presence of Universal Studios made it a compelling destination. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, including a massive Brachiosaurus, various Pteranodons, and a towering T-Rex that dominates the entrance area with dramatic lighting and sound effects. Unlike some previous experiences, this attraction is designed as a self-guided walk-through rather than a strictly curated tour, allowing guests to explore at their own pace while encountering creatures from both *Jurassic Park* and *The Lost World*.
A significant highlight of the experience is the "Evolution Walk," which features dry ice effects and a mix of herbivores and predators, including the famous raptors and pteranodons. The host notes that while the animatronics are impressive, they are stationary models rather than moving ones, yet the scale and detail remain terrifyingly realistic. A key feature mentioned is the interactive encounter with a Riosaurus, where visitors can gently pet the creature's breast after showing their hand, though strict rules prevent touching other parts of its body. The experience also includes a visit to the raptor training area, accessible via an elevator that offers a thrilling bird's-eye view of the exhibits below, adding a layer of verticality and intensity to the tour.
Beyond the dinosaur encounters, the video covers the various rides and dining options available at the park. The host reviews the Saurin ride, which is described as more kid-friendly than the intense roller coasters found in Osaka, featuring water rapids and canopy elements that simulate a journey through a prehistoric world. Another major attraction discussed is the boat-based ride inspired by *Jurassic Park 3*, where guests navigate past a Stegosaurus and other dinosaurs while spinning around, creating a disorienting but fun experience. The host compares this to previous rides in the franchise, noting differences in how the animatronics are positioned and moved, such as the aged appearance of the Lost World Stegosaur model.
The visit concludes with a detailed look at the park's unique food offerings, which blend Asian flavors with *Jurassic Park* branding. The host samples items like spicy saté chicken skewers, watermelon-based desserts, and ice pops featuring the iconic logo, offering mixed reviews on the taste but acknowledging the novelty of the themed menu. Despite the high prices typical of theme parks, the food is presented as a necessary part of the experience. Overall, the video serves as both a travel guide and a fan's appreciation for the franchise, recommending the Singapore location for its beautiful environment and the chance to see dinosaurs up close before they disappear from the park permanently.

[music]
Arie, we're at what's this place called
again? Cloud Gardens.
>> Gardens by the Bay.
>> Gardens by the Bay. Why are we here?
Because dinosaurs, they got a Jurassic
thing going on. They have been for
[music] a long time. And I have only
now, just a month before it disappears
forever, can't wait to see it. So, let's
go check it out.
Here we go then. There it is. Look.
Jurassic World. Whoa. Oh, it's a
bracosaurus.
I thought that these guys would uh
would be moving, but apparently they're
not. They're kind of stationary.
Brachiosaurus.
Biggest dinosaur the world has ever
seen.
Look at it.
Please give me some water. No, my water.
>> I'm still getting used to this gimbal
thing.
Oh no. Will I be copyright struck by all
of the music?
>> Oh, I hope not. Any kids grew up with
dinosaur documentaries like me? Walk
with dinosaurs. That just screams the
lost world and dinosaurs. You could see
the trees, guys. I love tree up my top
of my head. Yeah, I've been meaning to
go to this place for a while. Just never
really got round to it. Singapore's sort
of never really been on on the top of my
list of places to go to, but I find
myself here now. And with this and
Universal, it kind of just seems to make
sense. Oh. Oh, we have compies. Hold on.
Complete or elephant jaw. Is it really
called elephant jaw? Oh, no. Here we
are. There they are. Sorry, my bad. Look
at them. Look at the little cuties.
Ready for a fabled closeup? Some other
ones. Look at his little eyes.
Wow.
>> Seems like Yeah, you sort of do go
through, but you're not on a guided
tour. You just sort of walk through,
enjoy, and we have I Hold on. You You
don't really want to see this one. I
don't know. But we have a giant T-Rex.
Look at this guy. Wow. And you can just
spend as long as you want looking at
this one. Here you have me. And right
across from me, you have a giant T-Rex
with some very scary music.
kind of hear the baby T-Rex in the
background as well. Now, question is
[music] guys, is it Rexie? Is it
Roberta? Is it Ember? Is it Buck? Is it
Do is it I don't know. Is it Big Eyee?
Is it Little Eat? Why can we not stop
with the names, please? There's too many
names. Oh, look at that mouth.
I love the flashing lights [music]
you've got next to it. It's really cool.
This thing's huge.
Obviously, this I think is the the the
[music] big thing that you know you want
to see. It's the T-Rex. Now, the
question is, do you do you think I can I
can convince Whitney? Let me get one of
these.
>> And you can definitely hear that baby
T-Rex in the roar.
We're going into the evolution walk now.
Dry ice sort of coming out the top.
Smoke. There it is. Evolution Walk.
Should I do private tours, guys? Would
you like to come along with me in my
astute commentary? Ah, no you would. It
reminds me of the uh the the thing I did
in
London. We sort of went through and
found some dinosaurs, except for this
this seems to have actual budget. Ooh,
we got birdies. But they're not the
birds we really want to see, are they?
Oh, it's a sticky monarch. Wait, hold
on. This This says predatory livestock.
Our poor sticky moolog is going to be
fed to the dinosaurs. Oh, that's a
shame.
>> Oh, bye-bye. There we go. That's what we
want to see. But actually, I think I
want to go this way. I hear raptors,
though. I don't see raptors, which is
normally a concerning thing. But, uh,
now I see raptors and I'm sort of less
concerned cuz now we have pteranodons.
Looks like we've got a a prelude to
rebirth. Jurassic World signage here.
Lovely pretty face. And then up top we
have a squawking uh pteranodon which
looks like it's been ripped. I feel like
I've seen that render.
Exactly. Look at it. I want all of you
to look at it. And you've got like some
other stuff that would be here all year
round. I'd imagine we're only here for
the dinosaurs. This is what I love. This
is what we need more of. We need more
stuff like this. Less AI art. The front
on view of a bragosaur is terrifying. If
if Jurassic Park 3 did anything, it was
to show us that was terrifying. Put put
the Jurassic Park 3 bragosaur next to
it. Yeah. Seem fuel. Looks like there
was a there's a queue here under normal
circumstances. So, this part looks like
this would be the a guided part of the
tour. Maybe we'll find out. And there we
go. JP 29. Rexy's done. Stingy molic
checked. Braggosaur checked.
Velociraptors and trannodons also
checked. Compi is checked as well.
Actually,
uh I think we still got to see the
raptor training area as well. [music]
Oh,
right. I mean, there's the jeep.
Just think this counts as climbing, but
I could get to it now. Hold on. I'm uh
I'm going to put the strap on this
thing. There we go. Strap acquired just
in case. Look at that. Look how high
that is. Terrifying. Absolutely
terrifying down there.
Scare pair of butterflies. [laughter]
The raptor down there. There you go.
Bird's eye view. The the top of the
sticky mo
over here. I mean, this is giving very
Avery Alan Grant scene if they put like
little cage over the top. It's a bird
cage,
>> you know. I I could see this working.
This is really cool. Got the very top of
it over there as well. So, the queue was
for the elevator basically. That's what
that was.
>> So, really, you can spend as much time
or as little time as you want in this
place.
>> You know me guys, we have to check out
the eggs.
>> A everyone say a
>> a sleeping.
They're so cute. They do breathe. their
the legs and chest goes out just a
little bit.
>> Oh, there's a baby pteranodon down
there. Oh, we must see him. We got the
Jurassic Park gates over there. Oh,
sorry. Jurassic Jurassic World gates.
Oh, is it not?
>> Is this the end? Is it?
>> Okay, come back later.
>> Oh, okay. Okay.
>> I'm not I'm not popular enough. Um I
don't have enough clout. I've got
status. So, uh, 12:00.
>> Okay. All right. Thank you. Well, I'm
going to have to go come back later
then.
>> Here it comes.
>> Chamber. So, once she learns how to
roar, her ros will actually echo in her
breast and become louder. Now, she is
also a herbivore. So, we can interact
with her. What we do is show me the back
of your hand. Back of your hand like
this. Slowly approach her and gently pet
her on her breast like that. Only please
do not touch her on the rest of her
body.
>> Well, thank you. Bye-bye.
>> What the hell could go wrong?
>> Riosaurus,
the scariest dinosaur the world has ever
seen.
>> The magic is broken. No.
No. It's just a weird little thing. No.
We'll see if there's anything more. I'm
pretty sure that there's like a
downstairs area, though. Got to see the
raptors again on the bridge.
Whoa. We got to see a different view of
the T-Rex.
It was too busy before. Yeah, you can
see him now.
You see how big it is, though? It's
huge. Sorry, guys. I'm probably saying
the same thing over and over again,
aren't I? So, I think that's all that
was here. Let's see what way out is.
Cloud forest G. Aha. Here we go. Oh. Oh.
Dophosaurus.
I don't know if you can see much.
>> Oh, you can get really close to these
guys. Beware. Spitting dinosaur.
I want to get spit on. So, this is what
CLA doing. Saw a
[laughter]
spat on right on my head.
I didn't realize it was actually going
to shoot out beyond the boxes. Yeah, I
put my head right there where that box
is. Oh, we're going deeper. We're going
deeper. Okay.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Oh, we've got we've got copyrighted
Jurassic Park 3 footage. Oh, I've been
through more than Cla did cuz I didn't
have Chris to choke it out for us.
[laughter] Echo Delta Charlie, beware.
Feed them your hands, please. So, no
flash photography from here. Okay, guys,
keep your tops on from this way. Okay,
>> this is this is best view I've been
told. She could clearly see I've been
spat on by a gloss. I've been favored.
>> Are you guys ready to be blue?
>> Yes.
>> Wonderful. Here we go.
>> That'll be the excitement.
down.
So, I'm going to walk to the left and
she follows and to the right. Now, look
how intelligent she is. And she can
follow my command.
>> Must be trained by Owen Grady. Alan,
>> I want to get closer.
I'm going to bring her back.
>> Thank you so much for being such a brave
audience over here.
>> We got this in the UK. It's called rain.
You want to know what happened to John
Hammond after the Lost World?
>> He became a tree god. Thank you for
visiting. There it is. Oh, we got some
extra little compies though.
>> Hello.
Today we witnessed them as they once
thrived roaming the lush forests of a
prehistoric world in constant change.
yada yada yada. Really cool. Liked it.
Cool dinosaurs. Bye. It was definitely
less of a curated experience it felt
like as opposed to the one in London.
But seeing them just with these
beautiful uh you know, it's what I
expected when I did the London thing.
It's what I thought was going to happen.
But uh no, this one highly recommend.
Just beautiful scenery, beautiful
environment.
Here we are in Universal Singapore. So
we have just entered uh from far far
away. So what what do we have over here?
Baby Kilo's nap time and hatched. What
what time are we now? We are almost half
[music] 11. So, in an hour we could see
Baby Kilo's nap time and then in half an
hour.
>> I don't know who Baby Kilo is.
>> Wait, what? You don't know who Baby
Kilo?
>> I don't I don't know who Baby Kilo is.
The best. It's It's the first thing you
see even before the Jurassic Park gate
is the Lost World. I like that.
>> Nice.
>> Jurassic Park survivor set comes with
Jurassic [music] Park Nasai Padang
Watermelon and Litechi refreshes Shendal
Pan Cotta.
Oh, that looks like a a Jurassic Park
halo. Halo.
You got Jurassic Park pops. Hell yeah.
Uh yeah, I'll definitely have some of
that. Oh, we have the Saurin. So, unlike
Osaka where you've got these massive
roller coasters, you have the Saurin
ride. So, that's interesting.
Uh okay, we got a we've got a T-Rex.
We've got the copyright music, which
hopefully I'm going to edit out. Oh, we
have a Spinosaurus.
a green Spinosaurus.
>> Green
>> and a green T-Rex next to the Discovery
Food Court. So, there's no big visitors
center. And those guys,
>> I'm the hatch dinosaur.
>> That looks like a not very aggressive
looking T-Rex. This one. Look at this
little little smile.
>> Yes. More Lost World stuff. That looks
like the work of village. I like it. I
like it. Here we go. So you don't have
it going upside down like you have in
Osaka and it's it's more kid-friendly.
Rivers rapid adventure awaits. Rapids
Adventure Canopy Flyer dinosaur the
dinosaur.
It's a half hour. Half hour is not bad
though. Is it really? You think about
it. I like the trees. You know Jurassic
World, but Jurassic Park is just the
one. Oh, you want to get You don't want
Okay. You don't want to get wet. Okay.
There we go. We got a raptor fossil.
We've got uh the Jurassic Park. Oh, this
looks like a new waiting screen because
I think they discontinued the old one.
Here's the queue boat loading
refreshment area. A Ooh, that would have
been cool to see. Maybe we can get a
closeup of that. That's like the map,
but I'm assuming it's not uh
it's not Oh, no. Oh, it's It is kind of
accurate, like screen accurate to
Oh, Raptor. Oh, that's the classic.
Anyone who grew up with YouTube like I
did in the early days, that was the
go-to image used if you typed in
Velociraptor and put it in a dinosaur
AMV. There we are.
>> You're already
Look at that.
>> Please be careful when
your boat is.
>> Yeah. Is that the hood? No. There we go.
She's got it right.
>> Wait a minute. They're playing. This is
Lambe Time.
[singing]
This is Lambeore time. Oh, wait. Hold
on. No, it is Lamborgh. Okay. Like, hold
on. That's a soundtrack from Lore Time.
And that is Lambe Time. But we're not
looking at that cuz we'll get copyright
strike.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Phone. And hold on. Wallet.
>> Let me protect your
>> You are the waterproof baggy. [laughter]
>> Crazy. Look. Crazy foreigners. You're
ballooning, Whitney. I'm going to take
off. So, here we go. There's a JP3
T-Rex, which is way smaller than the
spino, apparently. You got the JP3 male
and female raptors. This These are all
in Dino Defender, I'm pretty sure.
>> Dino Defender.
>> So, there we go. I can already seeaurus
over there. Look at it. Ready to spit in
your eyes. I'm going to spat again two
days in a row. They also have guns as
well, but they have a place to put
stuff. Should I say by the look of this?
I think
>> Oh, so there's like it's like segmented.
[music]
>> Oh, exit.
We made it.
The first ride was really good. There
there was certain parts of it. The first
thing you notice actually when you go on
that ride or the first thing I noticed
was the stegosaur. All the rides I've
been on so far with Jurassic Park, they
keep the stegosaur that you know dips
its tail in and out of the water.
Whereas this one looked to be the Lost
World Stegosaur. And it even had the
baby Stegosaur from the Lost Worlds,
like the right model, but it was very
aged. We'll say [laughter] it was very
weather damaged. And I don't think it
moved too much. Whereas at least the
Stegosaur in the old one sort [music]
of, you know, dips its tail close to the
boat. And this one kind of was just
perched on a rock. Because you're
constantly like spinning around. I I'll
have to use some B-roll from somebody
else who's managed to have connections
and record it cuz there's no way you're
able to record anything in here. I
started getting a bit dizzy. Did you Did
you start to get a bit dizzy? I did. I
like I want to look at things but you're
kind of like,
[laughter] you know, you're looking
around. There was It is a bit
disorienting. It's It's a It's a nice
change of the formula to make it a
[music] river rapper. There were a few
bits where you went up and down and it
was an inversion of the normal formula,
which is you going up to the T-Rex and
then you fall. Whereas this time you
stop underneath the T-Rex and you see
him right above you and you sort of lift
up to the T-Rex and you get pushed out
the side. The drop is probably half as
big. It's [music] nice to see Jurassic
Park still alive even though we are
four movies into the Jurassic World
franchise and only one of the parks. Um,
is Jurassic World themed?
There we go. Dinosaur. Jurassic Park 3
lives on somewhere somehow.
Someone had fun with the smudge tool
effect in Photoshop. What is this?
What are you? Oh, the eyes do move.
That's so fun.
Oh, there you go. Nothing much.
[laughter]
>> Is that all the popcorn you get?
There's nothing. Amber lights. So,
they've got You've got Fallen Kingdom
over there.
Some Jurassic Park kind of looking
assets
with Rebirth Spinus.
Oh, we need to go to the the drying
pods. So, you just get blasted with air
>> for $5.
>> Jesus. For air.
>> For air.
[laughter]
No, but this is this is dry pod air,
Whitney. This is branded air. It's an
interesting design for a spino because
it's not even the spino from Jurassic
Park 3. They gave it like a weird head
crest to it.
>> Crest. Crest.
>> We'll have a We'll have a look to see
what's down this way. Restrooms are
here. When you got to go, you got to go.
Oh, that's that that's a good sign. Look
at that. Yeah. Close enough. That'll do.
Yeah,
just forget the thing I always thought
was the eye of the the T-Rex there.
That's good. Wait, hold on, Whitney.
They're doing the hatched here. Take it.
Take it. Take it. Hold on. Yes.
>> I love your shirt.
>> Oh, thank you.
>> Are you a fan of dinosaurs?
>> A little bit.
>> Just a little bit. Yeah.
>> Okay. How fast do you think they can
run?
>> Ooh.
>> I'm going to give you some choices.
>> 50, 60, or 70 km an hour?
>> I say 50.
>> 50. Very close. Actually, [music] 60.
>> 60.
>> 60 km an hour. Do you think you can
outrun a velociraptor?
>> No, I don't think I could. I'd like I'd
like to give it a shot though.
>> You bit of a fan of dinosaurs.
>> I'm a bit bit of a bit of a fan of
dinosaur.
>> When he asked and you were like a little
bit, I was like,
[laughter]
>> well, I can't be like it is my job.
Subscribe to my YouTube channel, please.
Winnie, I need a selfie with the raptor.
Okay, so canopy flyers. Oh, it's quite a
big queue. 40 minutes. Oh, there's no
express bus. So, we can have a look
around, see what this place has to
offer. My goodness. Right, they have
coconuts, which kind of look like Let's
have a little walk around. See what else
they got. This looks like it could be a
little meet and greet area. Just an
empty spot, isn't it? I wonder who
they'd have here. Hello. It's Ah, look.
They've got like a climbing wall that's
closed.
No, I wanted to climb some fossils.
Darn you ropeway. You got an Arcalon
raptor. I think that is some sort of
plesiosaur triceratops.
No, no, no. This is the raptor nest,
right? I mean, uh, Whitney, [laughter]
here. Here it is. IT'S THE RAPTOR NEST.
OH MY GOD. It's a raptor.
Good boy. Good boy. [laughter]
>> Oh, yes. Got some.
>> You like cameras, huh?
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah.
I saw baby dinosaur Whitney. I saw baby
dinosaur. Gonna I guess I get eaten by a
dinosaur now. Oh,
in the queue. There's amber.
Look at the little ambers. Well, we went
on the flying dinosaurs, whatever they
were called. Canopy flyers. That's
right. So, the queue was about half an
hour. I timed it. It was 25 seconds,
which is so short. It's fun, but
>> the way there it's what?
>> It's short.
>> It's too short
>> for the weight time.
>> The way the the the loading times. Oh,
it's painful. You see it half an hour,
you think, "Oh, that's that's relatively
short in comparison to everything else
when you're in the line
>> for about 2 minutes.
>> Yeah, it takes ages to get off the ride
as well." Uh, and I mean, I've been on
the one in Osaka, the flying dinosaurs,
whatever they're called. Nah, beautiful.
this one. It's okay, but I'd only
suggest going on it if there uh if there
isn't a queue. The guy who's in charge
of this. [music] My god. It's like,
press and hold the green button. Press
press. Long. There he is. I'm ready.
>> See these eyes?
These are very serious eyes. Are you
excited, Winnie?
She shook her head. Why did she shook
her? Winnie, flying dinosaurs. They keep
going with the joke, I guess. Take
flight.
Yeah. [screaming]
I've reached peak. I can't go any
higher. He said, "Don't let go." Hands
slippy. Mama's spaghetti. La.
I mean, I'd love to record the other
rides, but I get told off, and I don't
really want to be thrown out the park.
How do all the other people do it? Can I
say that I'm the dinosaur man? Like, you
know, I'm the Game of Beaver, but then
you don't want to be that guy.
Ironically, this is longer than the
other Tyrannosaur ride. Can you believe
it? Best ride I've been on so far. Pull
the door, Whitney. Pull the door. Oh,
it's the classic. The uh kind of murals
I grew up with when I [music] was a kid.
Oh, here it is in all of its glory. The
Jurassic Park Survivor set. We have a
volcanic
uh I don't even know what that is.
Mountain of rice, some chicken. Then we
have the watermelon and lchi refresher.
We have the Chen doll panak cotta and
then a Jurassic Park logo ice cream. I
think they mean like ice pop with this
set, the Jurassic Survivor set. Either
way, whatever this dish was, it said by
itself it didn't have shellfish. Then
when it was with, you know, all of this,
it said there was shellfish. So, not
exactly sure what's going on there, but
just something to note. Volcanic
Mountain.
Oh, that's spicy.
Oh.
Oh, it's like taking a mouthful of Gota
Chang sauce or got chang jam. Blow your
face off. Do you want to try some of
that? Whitney has dino nuggies.
[laughter]
>> My allergies. I can't eat anything.
>> I don't know anyone who comes away from
theme parks and raves about the food cuz
it's it's theme park food. It's
overpriced, but they've got you and
there's nothing you can do about it, so
you just eat it. What is this potato
thing? That's quite nice. Saté chicken.
That's something I never thought I'd see
in my life. Hold on. You know how
certain franchises are very protective
over the IP? I never thought I'd see a
Jurassic Park T-Rex with a cigarette in
its mouth. Anyway, here we are. You
know, you have um like peanut saté Thai
sort of skewers. It's like that. It's
quite nice, but it's very much
watermelon.
I don't really even taste any lit tree.
You've got like bits at the bottom. I I
think that's a lime or something that's
smushed up there. I'll say it's it beats
the turkey leg you get in America. I
don't know who came up with a turkey leg
to be food cuz it is just so like
membraney and tendonyy at a at a park.
Yeah. This dish in particular is just a
mish mash of loads of different Asian
food. You got like the sauté that's like
a bit Thai. You've got this which is
like Korean like gotcha chan really
spicy paste
>> chicken.
>> Yeah. Yeah. And then you've got like
papadons
a bit Indian like a bunch of different
types and rice. Yeah. Now this is very
much like a Filipino halo halo. You got
you got the beans. You've got whatever
this is. I thought they were little
green dinosaurs. I thought they were the
tails. I could see I can't really place
that.
It's just a sweet kind of dessert. Okay.
Well, I've tried all this. Unless you're
into watermelon, I I definitely wouldn't
suggest drinking it. This dessert, it's
all right. The food Oh, yeah. Did Have
you just tried some of that?
>> Blows your head off, doesn't it? This
sauce that's on the on the rice volcano.
Kills you. Yeah. Pop it on. So, not not
that great.
But the only one I've got left is the
raspberry. There was two flavors of
Jurassic Park logo. It may have melted a
tiny bit. We got the Jurassic Park logo.
Universal.
Here we are.
The ice pop. Jurassic Park pop.
Commercialism. We'll just sell them the
logo. That's the end of the video. Bye.
