Video summary

Tony Gaskins shares a glimpse into his daily routine as he transitions from the office to heading home, reflecting on the unique challenges of maintaining productivity in a chaotic world. He highlights his recent work with the Purpose Pushers community, a purpose-based group coaching program that offers one-on-one sessions and promotional shout-outs for its members. Unlike his other ventures focused primarily on entrepreneurship, this community emphasizes shared purpose and is currently limited to about 18 or 19 people due to the intensive nature of the support provided. Gaskins encourages potential members to join without pressure, noting that if the $47 monthly fee does not fit their budget, they should feel free to opt out rather than setting themselves up for failure. As he drives home, Tony discusses his plans to convert his wife's unused office into a local "man's lounge," a space designed for men to gather once or twice a month for food, conversation, and mutual support as brothers. He emphasizes the importance of staying focused and diligent during this volatile season in life and the economy, warning that people can easily be taken advantage of by scams and relationship coaches who exploit vulnerable individuals. Despite the prevalence of such issues, he remains optimistic about the power of community, noting how connecting with others allows for collective action and support when mobilizing for causes or movements. He also mentions upcoming content plans, including a potential review of the show "Married at First Sight," though he must navigate copyright restrictions which may limit his ability to show actual clips from the program. The video concludes with Tony addressing his strategy as a content creator and coach, explaining why he prioritizes creating multiple YouTube videos daily over conducting expensive one-on-one coaching sessions. He notes that while market rates for his expertise could be significantly higher, he chooses to keep prices accessible to help thousands of people simultaneously rather than charging premium hourly fees. He also shares details about his mentor.life platform, which he plans to hand over to his father to manage future coach calls and client retention strategies. Finally, he invites viewers to submit video topics via Instagram Direct Messages, reminding them that popular requests might already be in production, before signing off with a promise to spend quality time with his family for the upcoming football game.

Ladies and gentlemen, Tony Gaskins here. Leaving the office. Getting ready to head home. We just finished the We just finished the Let me see what this talking about. We just finished the >> [snorts] >> Y'all forgive me. I'm Daddy driving. >> [sighs] >> Finished the Purpose Pushers call. Thank y'all for jumping on. And it had some texts came in that I didn't get right here, but 5:38 p.m. Finishing work for today. And headed home. Hey, this come with the grind now. Little bit of day in the life today. Filmed on only was able to film 1 hour today. But I had already filmed a hour yesterday for for tomorrow. So, this video here you might be seeing the day after I film it. So, try to film a little bit the days before. And but right now I'm on fire with purpose for the Purpose Pushers community cuz it's my first time having a community that just solely purpose-based. Got the Solopreneur, that's entrepreneurship. We also dabble into some purpose, too, but more so entrepreneurship. But their thing is they also get one-on-one sessions, and they also get a shout-out for their business um whenever they launch this year. So, they get and they get three sessions and a shout-out. So, them three sessions is, you know, $1,500 value. Shout-out be really $1,500 value. And so, theirs is a little different. And that's a smaller group. Got I think 18, 19 people in there. Whereas with the purpose, you know, being that it's group coaching, we could have a few more people in there. So, the link in the description if you ain't came on over yet, come on over. Watch the recorded calls. And don't sign up if it ain't for you. Ain't no pressure. Ain't no pressure. You don't sign up. And don't even you ain't even got to feel pressure to try it out. Don't even want you to feel that pressure. If you know it ain't for you, if you know the $47 a month ain't in the budget, you ain't even got to waste your time. I don't want you to be setting yourself up for nothing that you ain't ready to do. I don't want it to be a burden to you. So, if coaching ain't on ain't in your budget right now at the 47 a month then please don't do it. Please don't do it. And so, we uh But, we moving right along. Getting a little grind in. I'm in I'm over here on my office, you know, my wife's office next door. I'm still going to convert it to a man's lounge cuz she doesn't use it. So, I'm converting it to me a little man's lounge and starting me a little man's group locally. And where we link up at least once once or twice a month. And have us a little food, have us a little conversation, put a game on chop it up, talk build as men, as brothers. And keep on growing helping each other. But, want you to be thinking and locked in focusing on what you working on right now. I don't know if y'all know it or if y'all could feel it. But, we in a very interesting season in life and in the world. And it's a lot going on. And it's a lot going on out here. And you got to be You got to be focused and diligent out here. Otherwise you will get taken advantage of. Y'all see it's a lot of scams and stuff coming out and we got the relationship coaches falling off. We had the We got the uh the boy who scammed the women out out of millions. He living his life. So, he is the brunt of everybody joke right now. So, he really going through it right now. Everybody got a joke for him. You hear me? He is everybody joke. And so, he uh going through, but you got to be mindful in these times. And you got to be very vigilant and diligent because you will get You will get finesse out here when that economy bad. But, we been grinding and and I'm going to talk to my purpose community too to see how much is too much value. But, we had us a call every day this week building. And been a good time though, you know, being able to connect with folks. And hear what folks working on, what they want to work on, what they think about working on. Been a real good time. It's just having community. And it's like the larger the community, the better because you just never know what you can do when it's time to mobilize. A lot of people don't think about that. Just never know whether you got the Everybody got the vote or sign petitions or just create a movement. got the march on Wall Street. It's like you need to be able to come together, support each other, build. That lady in the Cybertruck, I stayed back from that line cuz they show folks be turning they show don't know how to turn, boy. And so we going next week Lord willing I'll be home. So topics will be getting pumped out next week. So stay tuned, stay locked in. And we going to be talking about some things and y'all please send me the topics that you want me to address. I saw a few people I asked about the Married at First Sight. I think it's called. Few people was like, "Yeah, you know, review it." But I saw a couple that was like, "No, you know, it's a waste of time. No, you know, this and that." But majority of people said review it. So I'm going to see if I get the time and I remember to put it on when I'm at home. My wife, she hate that kind of stuff. She hate it. When I put that stuff on, she she get right on that phone. She she go on her TikTok. She just it be it be cringeworthy some of the stuff they be saying and doing. But at the same time it is still entertaining. So she be sneaking and listening. You be trying to act too mature for it. Child, you know you over there listening. I sure be listening. I get on it too it now. I don't like it either, but I get on it too it. I ain't going to lie to you. I get right on into it. And so I'm going to look at it, but they have so many copyright stuff going on. So, you got to kind of be careful with that stuff. So, I have to just see what it's talking about on the copyright stuff. And I have to see like you know, like if I could show piece of it or if I have to just talk about it, just have some notes and talk about it or I could I could most likely pull up pictures of the couples while I'm talking about it, but showing actual clips from it may not be able to do that because of the copyright laws, but if I'm able to pull up Peacock or whatever it's on on my computer and watch it and then do a screen share and show little bits and pieces I'll try that on the episode and see if it works and don't get me a copyright. If I get a copyright, then it's like the the show the what the stuff they saying. Then you got to do it for the blessed tribe. Cuz all few people be like, "Would it be for everybody?" If it's copyright, then it just got to be for the blessed tribe cuz that's, you know, paid membership. So, they're paying for the content essentially. But I don't have the time to waste if I can't put advertisement they can't YouTube can't place the ads on it. And I'll just be giving away hours and hours and I can't do that. So, you know, they still got to garner your time. So, so it's something that I don't even watch. But I'll let y'all know though and we'll build from there. And definitely ain't going in the purpose community cuz ain't got nothing to do with that. I don't have no other community other than the blessed tribe that it could be for. Shout out to the blessed tribe members and I definitely if the purpose community ain't for you and you just don't need it right now and you get enough out of the videos I post, then by all means stay in the blessed tribe cuz we'll keep that keep that going and still be exclusive content for the blessed tribe. And so appreciate you being over there and we going to be cranking out different things as we going. So for me right now just a little wind down video as I'm going home and we'll get this up. And for the content creators, you you you got to set your own goals. This what I do. So today I've had three I got three videos going out today. Then I got one more going out at 6:00 p.m. Eastern. And which will be yesterday but then I got two videos set up for tomorrow. This will be the third video. So I probably bump this one up to the top. Maybe make this the 9:00 a.m. video. Then have a 1:00 and a 6:00 going on out. And so that's my goal right there because I'm not life coaching as much. So today I had a session but I only had one session. So it was just a you know a finish up session. And so that gave me the opportunity to film. Yesterday, today and then the more I could keep my sessions down now you could book a session with me on my mentor.life but my steeply discounted sessions have come to an end. Those are closed. But, my my mentor.life regular price sessions are open. It's not fully regular price, but close enough to where it, you know, it makes it worth it for me to get on the phone with one person cuz you got to think about it. When you're working with one person versus being able to help thousands of people at one time through a YouTube video. So, it's like I'd rather do seven YouTube videos a day. That's 30 minutes each than to do seven one-on-one coaching sessions. And just what I was talking about the Purpose Community and about that. Like, I'd rather do the Purpose Community at $47 a month than to have to charge what I'm supposed to charge based on my income and the market rate. And so, income at the market rate, I'm supposed to be charging a minimum of 1,100 1,200 dollars an hour. And that's just insane, you know, it and then people charging it. Now, it is people charging it. And one day, maybe when I'm 50. I'm 42 right now. At 50, I might have to be at 1,500 an hour. Like Daymond John, the guy from Shark Tank. I remember I was about to book a session with him. He was 1,500 an hour. I was about to book a session with a young lady. She talked on branding. I think hers was It was either 750 or 900 or 1,500. It was something. I just remember saying like, "Wow, she charged more than me." But, she's charging for value. She's charging for value. She's teaching you about your brand and your brand positioning and all of that. So, she probably look at it like, "Listen, you going you going to go make hundreds of thousands or millions off of this game I give you. So, I'mma tax you." So, we on my mentor.life. I'm on there. If you a coach, go join. The most complicated part of it is getting set up on Stripe and connecting your Stripe and then you got to pay attention cuz Stripe, once you get booked a couple of times, Stripe may email you to have you like put in your link, put in what you do, and their system be glitching. So, you'll you'll have to fill it out three or four times. And you'll be like, "I just filled this out yesterday." But, you get approved. They really took us through the ringer with Destiny. But, we got approved and then they took me through the ringer with my my mentor.life profile. Not as bad, but they still had me filling stuff out, but I got approved. And it was another one I was doing it for. Can't remember which one. But, end up getting approved as well. And was able to do that. But, hop on on there, my mentor.life. I'm planning to turn that over to my dad to run it. My mentor.life. So, and he would like to do like some coaches calls and you know, get y'all coaches on a call and have y'all fired up and sharing some tips and tools with you on getting clients, retaining clients, stuff like that. His his his real he really good at keeping his clients. Like if they got the finances, they like to work with them consistently. And I have repeat clients, but not as many as him. And it could be just cuz of my price is higher, but but even if it was low, I still think, you know, same thing his would be his clients love to hire him over and over and over. So, he'd be teaching them stuff like that. But hey, Tony Gaskins here, God bless. I'm headed home, about to turn on my street. Headed home and put this phone down, you hear me? I'm going to put this phone down, get in my wife's face. Be in her face, you hear me? And just go on ahead and kick on back. We got a game tomorrow for Tatum. My homeboy gave us some tickets to the suite for the football for the college football game. But appreciate you. Keep your head up, keep going. And if you seeking purpose ready to tap into purpose or you already in it and need some support, join us in the Purpose Pushers community. We done had over 150 people try it out. You know, it it'll turn or whatever, people realize it ain't for them, it's not their style, not everybody is group group minded or group centered. I'm not big on groups myself, so it's hard for me, so I can't be mad at anybody else if groups just ain't their thing. But it is hard for me, too. But thank y'all so much for trying it out, coming on doing some classes with me. We typically have, you know, one live class a week for everybody and one live class a week for the premium members where just a smaller experience where for those who just really deep in on what they working on, what they building and just being able to go a little deeper and ask questions and things like that in a in a smaller environment. And I know that means something to some people, so that's why made that available. But appreciate you. And don't forget to DM me on Instagram your topics and stuff like that that you thinking about or that you see online. Sometimes y'all DM me stuff and I be then already did a video on it. Be then beat you to it. So, you I mean, you ain't got to check before or nothing cuz you ain't you know, when you see it send it on to me cuz you might lose your spot if you don't send it and then go to try to check might come back and it be gone. But God bless you and we'll talk soon.
