Video summary
The video takes viewers on an extensive tour of a local Ace Hardware store in Savannah, Georgia, highlighting how the retailer has evolved far beyond its traditional roots as a simple hardware supply shop. The narrator describes it as her favorite destination for shopping because it offers an incredibly diverse array of products that cater to every interest and occasion. Upon entering, customers are greeted by vibrant displays featuring healthy plants, beautiful hanging baskets, and seasonal decorations like popular duck figurines. The store is presented not just as a place to buy tools or paint, but as a comprehensive gift shop where one can find everything from military appreciation signs for loved ones who served to unique decor items that reflect local culture and personal hobbies.
A significant portion of the visit focuses on the extensive selection available specifically for residents and fans of Savannah and Georgia. The store boasts a massive section dedicated to Georgia sports merchandise, which has grown significantly over time, allowing shoppers like the narrator's nephew to find special gifts such as themed shirts even if they are not authentic team apparel but look very similar. Furthermore, the inventory draws heavily on local identity with items related to Savannah landmarks, oyster displays, and products from regional companies like a local cheese straw maker. The variety extends to unique hobbies and interests, including Metal Earth models, fossil collections at an "Earth Discovery Center," and trading post-style toys made in the United States, ensuring that there is something special for kids, adults, teenagers, and collectors alike.
Beyond home goods and gifts, the store features a surprisingly robust clothing and lifestyle department that rivals dedicated retail stores found downtown. Shoppers can browse through men's and women's apparel ranging from adorable t-shirts and pajama pants to high-quality boots, purses in every color, and accessories like reading glasses for plant lovers. The experience is enhanced by sensory details such as the "Milkhouse" candle bar offering various scents and kitchen towels, alongside a dedicated food section stocked with gourmet mixes, pecans, spices, and canned goods suitable for gifting rather than daily home consumption. Although the narrator notes some limitations regarding larger clothing sizes and her own preference against high-necked shirts due to heat sensitivity, she emphasizes that the sheer volume of options makes it easy to find something special without leaving the store.
The video concludes by reinforcing the convenience and charm of this Ace Hardware location, noting that while there is a flagship "Cadillac" store in nearby Ranken known for even more elaborate decor, this Savannah branch already offers an equivalent experience with everything one might expect from downtown shopping. The narrator highlights the friendly atmosphere created by staff members like Pamela who decorate displays and engage with customers, making the visit feel personal and welcoming. Ultimately, the transcript portrays Ace Hardware as a community hub where visitors can browse endless aisles of local treasures, practical items, and thoughtful gifts at reasonable prices, encouraging viewers to pause and explore every corner if they cannot physically be there in person.

Ace [music] is no longer just hardware.
Welcome to our trip to Ace Hardware,
where the helpful hardware man [music]
fixes a duck's hat.
It's a great place to go. [music] You're
about to find out why this is my
favorite store to shop at. [music]
Yes, the Ace Hardware. Beautiful hanging
baskets, gorgeous wall decor, loads of
keepsakes, [music] purses in every
color, beautiful outdoor decor, sports
and outdoor, [music] while there's toys,
bicycles, foodie gifts, gifts for the
football fan, a candle bar focused on
local gifts, something [music] borrowed,
something blue. Can't forget our furry
friend. We're going to start with God's
beautiful flowers.
They have the prettiest hanging baskets.
They keep them watered
and [music] just absolutely gorgeous.
When you walk in the door, you're
greeted by
little grills because it's summer and
they have a pretty display of [music]
plants and you'll find the prices are
reasonable, [music]
but they're healthy and worth the money.
And they've got the cutest [music] decor
for your gardens.
And not to mention these really [music]
popular ducks. I don't know why they've
become so popular again, but they have.
And y'all remember when [music] ducks
were the craze?
They also have wall decor on the wall as
you come in the door. Um, it's very
reasonably priced.
[music] So, if you like something like
that, it's great for gifts.
They have these
signs, these flag [music] signs for all
of the military
that are really nice gifts for someone
that you love that [music] served.
They have the outdoor
stuff in the front. And look at this
nice, healthy [music] sunbathing. Isn't
she cute?
I mean, there's just droves of stuff.
[music] If you couldn't find a gift in
here, well, I don't know what would be
wrong with you. [music]
This store is just loaded with gifts.
Whether it's for [music] kids or adults
and even teenagers, it doesn't matter
who it is in your life, you're going to
be able to find them something [music]
in this store. And not only just
something, but something special. They
do mark down stuff [music] that's
seasonal and usually have it in the
front. And they have this huge selection
[music]
for the Georgia fan.
When I first started shopping here, it
was a small [music] section and now it's
a very large section. So, every
Christmas, [music]
this is where I shop for Chris because
he is a Georgia fan. I mean, there's so
much stuff that you've never seen
before. You're bound to find something.
[music]
My nephew also loves Georgia.
I did all my Christmas shopping here in
2025 and I bought Chris this Georgia
shirt here. [music]
Well, it's really not a Georgia shirt,
but it looks like it and he loves it.
He was wearing it today. [music] Well,
enough about Georgia. Let's go on over
here to the girly stuff.
Savannah.
We do live right next [music] to
Savannah. Matter of fact, the store is
in Savannah.
So, of course, there's going to be
[music] a lot of stuff Savannah in this
store.
If you visit Savannah and you want a
good souvenir,
believe it or not, Ace Hardware
is a great place [music] to go.
Matter of fact, they have everything in
this store that they do downtown.
So, the [music] same brands, the same
things that you would find downtown in
Savannah, you're going [music] to find
right here in this Ace Hardware.
Now, how convenient is that? [music]
Under his wings, you will find refuge.
Chris wanted me to show y'all these
models. [music] They're called Metal
Earth. He thought they were the coolest
things ever. They have all different
kinds.
And you can see a closeup [music] of
this one.
I'm not sure how hard they are to put
together, but I would imagine [music]
it takes some precision.
Remember I was telling you they got
everything in here? [music] Well,
they've got rocks. I mean, every kind
you can think of. fossils, rocks, and
gems. [music] The Earth Discovery
Center,
and that's a cool thing to get people.
I thought this [music] was kind of cool.
It's a trading post. It's like toys and
they're all made in the United [music]
States.
So, that was really neat.
I believe they're, [music] you know,
based on an old
Toy [music] toys that people used to
play with maybe. Not sure.
Chris likes these [music] walking
sticks.
He's got one. He used to walk with one
all the time when [music] we lived in
Palen County. He would walk down a trail
They have this um
local
keeping it [music] local or focused on
local. There are books about things that
are local here [music] in Savannah.
[music]
They have a whole [music] section that's
uh men's scents and different things.
A lot of chimes.
I love birds [music] and they have tons
of birds in the store. All different
kinds.
Look at these beautiful things right
here. [music]
>> [music]
>> This is like laundry detergent and
stuff. I guess it's all natural [music]
[music]
angels.
What I like about this wall is they got
it sectioned um [music] in colors. So,
like there's a pink section and a blue
[music] section and then a fall and like
spring [music] type colors. And
I don't know who decorates the whole
entire store, but I will show you in a
minute a lady [music] that works in the
department and she does some of the
displays and she was able to tell us
hello.
So, you [music] want to stick around and
meet her,
Himalaya.
Ain't [music] this just a beautiful
platter? One of my favorites.
[music] I mean, you just want something
of everything. And of course, you can't
afford it, but what's fun is [music]
just to go in here and look. And for
those of you that can't get outside, I
hope you enjoy videos like [music] this
because it gets you out in the store and
you're able to browse around [music] and
look around.
And of course, if you don't like my
talking, you can pause it.
[music] They say that this store is not
even the best store. the best store,
their Cadillac [music] store as far as
decor and stuff is in Rinken,
>> [music]
>> um, Georgia.
So, if you live around that area or
you're not that far from that area, you
definitely want to go to the Ace
Hardware in [music] Ranken, Georgia.
This is on Highway 17 [music] in
Savannah
Ogi area.
>> [music]
>> Look at that pretty fish.
>> [music]
>> I'm going to have to go back and look at
this. The cool thing about looking at
this on a video for you guys is um
[music] since there's so much stuff to
look at, you can always pause it.
And I [music] tried to get some
close-ups of stuff. This is the cat
section.
This this old display was about [music]
cats. And they have these uh everything
you can think of cats [music] gifts.
And I like these. They were picture
frames [music] for your pet
and something for your keys. [music]
Now, this is the dog side.
Call my mom. [music]
This was a coffee bar. It's called the
[music] Milkhouse. I mean, candle bar.
Good lord. Smell the scent. Scoop the
beads. Strike [music] a match.
candle jar.
These are kitchen towels
and [music]
just all different kinds of cool little
kitchen towels.
I like [music] this one. Will bless your
heart.
Something old, [music] something new,
something borrowed, something blue. If
you like blue decor, [music] they got
it.
Beautiful. [music]
It's beautiful.
Now, they [music] got cute clothes.
Super cute. I love t-shirts, but their
t-shirts, the necks on their t-shirts
are too high [music] for me. I get too
hot in them. Um, but they're super cute.
[music] If that don't bother you,
I got a pair of those shorts over there.
I'm actually wearing them right now.
Isn't
that [music] pretty?
They got beautiful stuff in here.
[music] The only thing I didn't like is
they don't have big enough sizes for us
big girls.
Look at these [music] pretty reading
glasses. If you need a pretty pair of
reading glasses, they got them in here.
How [music] not to kill your house
plant.
I thought these were cute.
[music]
This was so funny. Look at this purse.
It just looks like Texas, [music] don't
it?
And look at this shrimp pillow.
I mean, you could spend days in here
[music]
and not be able to see everything.
Look at this big department of clothes.
And I mean, their clothes [music]
are adorable.
And they got all the men's clothes, the
name brands,
uh, the men's light. They got hats,
just beautiful hats. [music]
Look [music] at this top.
These are [music] pajama pants.
Soft and comfortable pajama pants.
And this [music] is the man's t-shirts
and hats.
I mean, it's like going to downtown
Savannah. [music]
And it's equivalent to oh my goodness, I
don't know how many stores in [music]
Savannah in this one hardware.
[music]
I wish I could wear cute shoes. I've
been wearing tennis shoes since I had
cancer at age 40. Never been able to
wear another kind of shoe,
but I'm happy to be here. Look at all
these boots.
Aren't they [music] cute?
I'm sure
the men [music] love the boots.
And they have so many purses,
quality
purses in [music] every color.
Sandals, [music]
flip flops
for men and women.
I thought [music] this one was really
pretty.
Look at the detail on it. [music] I
didn't look at the price.
I didn't look at the price.
You got to get your pocketbook out.
[music] Spend some money when you come
in here. Look at this beautiful top.
It's just gorgeous.
I have no idea what these are. There's
something [music] new. I guess some kind
of
cups.
[music] Drink cups.
They were super cute though.
Some of [music] y'all probably know what
they are.
Something fattish, I'm sure.
Now, I love this department. It's all
like um scented stuff. [music] I love
it. There's lotions,
uh, stuff you wear, [music] some stuff
you put in the house, stuff you put in
your purse, stuff you put in your car. I
mean,
it's a wonderful section.
This was [music] a little display of
everything oysters, which I thought was
kind of cool.
>> [music]
>> Now, this is about the time I noticed
the lady behind the counter [music] and
I asked her, "Do you decorate the
store?" Look at these cute little ducks.
I mean, aren't they [music] adorable?
Look, that one's got cucumbers on her
eyes. They do have [music] jewelry and
stuff. I just didn't uh look at it up
close. [music] If you like jewelry.
>> Hi, I'm Pamela. Welcome to Burwick Ace
Hardware gifts [music] and clothing
department. Hope you enjoyed meeting
Pamela.
Now, this section is nothing but food
[music]
and I mean just tons of different kinds
of gifts of for the foodie and I mean
they've got it. And they've got [music]
delicious pecans cuz we're in Georgia.
[music]
And they've got these little mixes, a
lot of mixes um [music] for different
things.
How something called fancy pants,
cookies,
cheese straws from the Savannah
um cheese straw [music] company.
They have these cobbler mixes.
Uh, blueberry cobbler, shrimp boil.
[music]
Look at all these mixes.
>> [music]
>> And they even had spices down on the
bottom, like spice blends,
[music]
canned goods.
And yeah, they were expensive,
but I guess if you're buying somebody
something for a gift, [music]
you know, it's reasonably priced
for a gift, not for something you eat at
home all the time. Chris [music]
thought, this was cool. It's collector's
cards.
Um,
look, there's baseball cards
and [music] different things. He thought
that was the coolest.
And where there's grills and and and
things like that, they've got all kind
of different [music] grill sauces.
And Chris found this shirt he really
liked
and he [music] bought it and he's
already wore it.
I told him [music] to display it and
look what he does.
[laughter]
All right, I'm going to quit talking and
we're just going to walk through the
store. You're going to see [music] so
much stuff. I hope you've enjoyed
watching. Um, we appreciate everything
y'all do. Remember to hit that like and
subscribe button. And it's free [music]
and we love you. Now keep on shopping
and just take a look at all the things
[music] this Ace this Ace has.
