80s Movies Just Hit DIFFERENT! | The Lost Boys (1987) | First Time Watching | Movie Reaction
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
In this reaction video, two hosts revisit the 1987 classic *The Lost Boys*, contrasting their childhood memories of watching it repeatedly with a fresh adult perspective. They describe the film as a phenomenal summer adventure that perfectly captures the nostalgic vibe of the era, blending horror elements with humor in a way that distinguishes it from later vampire movies like *Twilight* or *Blade*. The discussion highlights how the movie serves as a spiritual successor to films like *The Goonies* and *Stand by Me*, set against the backdrop of the fictional Santa Carla. While some jump scares managed to frighten them even as children, they ultimately conclude that the film remains a perfect, fun experience driven by its practical effects, dynamic camera work, and an exceptional cast.
The narrative follows protagonist Michael's dramatic transformation from an ordinary teenager into a vampire after he dons a leather jacket and consumes blood, eventually earning acceptance into the supernatural family where his mother is revealed to be the head vampire. The hosts particularly praise the character dynamics, especially the "Frog Brothers," who provide essential comic relief while inadvertently uncovering the town's dark secrets. One speaker identifies Sam as their favorite character, citing his quirky humor and memorable singing performance as moments they still hum in the shower today. This introduction to actors Corey Feldman and Kiefer Sutherland was unexpected at the time, marking a significant moment for fans who did not realize these young stars would go on to achieve such fame.
Beyond the plot and characters, the video delves into specific production details and cultural references that define the 80s aesthetic. The hosts express curiosity about why the film was shot in Santa Cruz but set in the fictional town of Santa Clara, while also appreciating the iconic soundtrack by Phil Collins and Blue Öyster Cult, noting they would have loved to wear headphones for a better audio experience. The atmosphere is further enriched by 80s video store tropes, such as the creepy employee who draws comparisons to villains in *Scream* and characters in *Stranger Things*. These elements combine to create a unique viewing experience that feels both scary and entertaining, offering a genuine introduction to the film's enduring legacy.
Ultimately, the hosts agree that despite the passage of time and their initial fears as children, *The Lost Boys* stands out as a perfect adventure with a flawless cast and direction. The film successfully balances its supernatural themes with lighthearted moments, creating a story that resonates differently when viewed through an adult lens compared to the original childhood viewing. By combining practical effects with a memorable soundtrack and engaging character arcs, the movie offers a timeless appeal that continues to entertain new audiences. The segment concludes with a standard invitation for viewers to engage with the channel by liking, commenting, subscribing, and supporting their work on Patreon, encouraging others to explore this cult classic for themselves.

All right, guys. Welcome back to the
channel. So, when we first started
dating, we're hanging out one day and
we're looking for a movie to watch and
we happened to come across this movie.
And I was really excited cuz I had this
movie as a kid and I really, really
enjoyed it. Like, I watched it like
seven times probably. Um, you want to
watch it? You want to watch it? No.
Absolutely not. She does not want to
watch it. What' you say? It's scary or
something like that.
>> I I did not like scary movies at the
time. Still kind of don't, but I'm
working on getting to like them. if this
mic didn't pick that up cuz we usually
don't be whispering but [laughter] she
said uh still kind of don't but she's
getting better at scary movies but
you're very dramatic with your and
>> I know someone in weapons by the way
said why are you being all jittery and
screaming I'm like
>> I don't really understand it but this is
her real personality I love her dearly
but she really gets freaked out with
these films me I just you know it's
fantasy but it is it is fun with the
jump scares but anyways man this is
Keith Kefir Sutherland and this is Cory
Feldman right here. Um, [music] I
watched it a lot as a kid. I haven't
watched it with an adult perspective, so
I really don't even know if it's a good
movie or not. I just remember really
enjoying the film. We've been watching a
lot lately with them on the channel. We
watched The Goonies and then we watched
Stand by Me. And both of those movies,
phenomenal, phenomenal movies. Um, I
figured why not knock this one out even
though,
>> you know, it's not even the end of
summer yet.
>> Hey, but question, you just had two
movies that were kind of similar. They
had like a group of friends and it was
like camaraderie. [music]
And Lost Boys kind of seems like the
same way.
>> Oh, what does the term Lost Boys make
you think, by the way?
>> Um, Peter Pan.
>> Okay, there you go.
>> Oh, am I supposed to think that?
>> It's just I've always thought that, but
we just didn't mention that.
>> Yeah, well, I think of Peter Pan, of
course.
>> Yeah, finish your point.
>> Oh, what was what was I saying?
[laughter]
>> Like, comment, subscribe, man. Hit us up
on Patreon if you guys want to see the
full uncut reaction. Um, hype the video
if you enjoy it. I really appreciate
that. And let's go.
>> [music]
>> Man, this is so nostalgic. You know, I
think the first time I seen this, I was
at my aunt Cathy's. Actually,
>> I think my cousin [music] showed me this
movie.
Hey, there he is. [laughter] That's my
boy Kefa.
Come on, man. Hey,
>> I think she was smiling at first. Did
you see that?
>> I told you to stay off the boardwalk.
[music]
>> Okay, boys. Let's go. [sighs]
>> Causing so much drama.
>> You, too. Off the boardwalk.
>> But see, like, as a kid, I had no idea
this was Santa Cruz. I didn't even know
what that was at the time. That would
probably be a good time to go there cuz
it was probably like 25 cents for a
pretzel or something.
>> Mhm.
>> Is this an aerial attack?
>> Keep going.
>> Hey, I like that song.
>> Cool. Mommy, you want to switch it down?
The way this is filmed is crazy. Like
>> awesome, right? [laughter]
>> I always thought that she was like a
charming mom in this movie cuz she's
just doing her best. You know,
>> the ocean air
>> smells like someone died.
>> A honey, look guys, I know the last year
hasn't been easy, but I think you're
really going to like living in Santa Cl.
[clears throat]
>> No offense, but it looks like a bunch of
punks lurk the corners. kind of looks
like where we live a little bit if you
edit it a little bit.
>> Yeah.
[music]
[gasps]
>> Why was she licking that? [laughter]
>> That's the least of the questions that
are our concern.
[music]
>> You see all the missing posters? Crazy.
Those used to freak me out really bad at
Walmart when I was a kid. They really
would.
[music]
>> This is a summer vibe movie already in
my opinion. [snorts]
[music]
See, when a movie like this has a good
soundtrack like this, every time you
hear this song, you'll think of the
movie and you'll remember the movie for
the rest of your life.
>> A perfect example is Scream Fear the
Reaper or that song.
>> Yeah.
>> The Gus version,
>> whatever that means.
>> Well, the original version's a blue
oyster cult. That's not in it. It's the
Gus version.
>> This is a woodsman right here.
>> Dead.
>> Looks like he's dead.
>> No, he's just a deep sleeper. If he's
dead, could you go back to Phoenix?
>> A dead sleeper.
>> Oh, dad. Oh, dad.
>> That was a horrible joke.
>> Oh, he's obviously a little odd.
>> What's wrong with this picture?
>> That's what Billy's supposed to be like
on Stranger Things. [laughter]
>> Seen TV? I haven't seen a TV in life.
You know what it means when there's no
TV? No MTV.
>> Sammy, you're flat broke.
>> Lucy, you're the only woman I ever knew
didn't improve her situation by getting
divorced.
I know, but a big legal battle wasn't
going to improve anybody's situation. I
know, Dad. We've all been through
enough, you know. Anyway, I was raised
better than that.
>> Hey, ouch. My hair.
>> Sounds like you ain't getting no
alimony.
>> Uh-uh. It's like the Adam Sandler movie.
>> Chainsaw mask
>> rules. We got some rules around here.
Second shelf is mine. That's where I
keep my root beers and my double thick
Oreo cookies. Nobody touches the second
shelf but me. Now, there's another rule
around here, and I want you to pay close
attention.
>> Don't touch anything. Everything is
exactly where I want to be. Grandpa,
>> is it true that uh Santa Car is the
murder capital of the world?
>> There are some bad elements around here.
>> Wait a second. Let me get this straight.
Are you telling me that we moved to the
murder capital of the world? Are you
serious, Grandpa?
>> Well, now, let me put it this way. If
all the corpses buried around here was
to stand up all at once, we'd have one
hell of a population problem.
Great, Dad.
>> Now, on Wednesdays, when the mailman
brings a TV guide, sometimes the address
label is curled up just a little like
that. Now, you'll be tempted to tear it
off. Don't. You'll only wind up ripping
the cover, and I don't like that. Stay
out of here.
>> That's the rules.
>> You have a TV?
>> No. I just like to read the TV guide.
Read the TV guide. You don't need a TV.
>> I like the grandpa.
>> I do, too. I missed the little TV guide
book. I don't think we were like rich
enough to get one.
>> Well, funny enough, my grandpa had one.
[laughter]
>> That looks like those wrestlers.
[cheering and music]
>> One time I was watching this and my
cousin told me that was Phil Collins,
the guy who was dancing. [laughter]
So like my whole wife, that's who I
picture with singing that I can feel it
in the air tonight. I just picture
[laughter]
>> really feeling it in the air tonight.
>> You notice how I don't really with
that song. [laughter]
>> Well, he likes it.
>> No, he's looking at star.
Your cousin's hilarious for that.
[laughter]
>> I was like, "Michael, who's that?" He's
like, "That's Bill Collins." [laughter]
Oh Hell yeah. Hard.
>> Yeah, cuz the saxophone and stuff.
>> You could have told me anyone was Phil
Collins, too, though. I wouldn't have
known.
Wrong.
>> Are you lost?
>> Excuse me. I I wonder if you could help
us. This little boy is lost and we were
wondering if his mother might be in
here.
>> I don't really know.
>> Oh, how worried. Don't run off. I'm
worried.
>> There you are.
>> Thank you.
>> Uh-uh. You're grounded for that.
>> I can't really come here to watch one
thing.
Well done.
>> No thanks. Well, second thought.
>> Told you not to come in here anymore.
>> They look like a band.
>> Wild kids.
>> They're just young. We were that age,
too, once.
>> Like Metallica kind of.
>> They dress better. Bye-bye.
>> You have a generous nature. I like that
in a person. My name's Max.
>> I'm Lucy.
>> How are you?
>> Hello.
>> Uh that's my dog, Thorne.
>> Hi, Thorne.
>> Say hello, Thorne. Well, how may I help
you this evening? We have it all. the
best selection of video tapes in Santa
Carlo.
>> No, actually I'm not looking for a tape.
What I need uh is
>> a job.
>> It's a job. Yeah, I look that needy.
Huh?
>> He's like, heck yeah. I'm going to score
a um divorced wife.
>> Be nice. He's nice.
>> So, where are we going?
>> Nowhere.
>> So, what's [music] our rush? You're
chasing that girl, aren't you? Come on.
Come on. Admit it. You're chasing her.
I'm at the mercy of your sex plans, bud.
>> Sam, don't you have something better to
do than follow me around all night?
>> Yeah, actually I do.
This place looks cool. This was like a
vibe back then.
>> I wouldn't [clears throat] have been
allowed to go here. My parents would
have probably told me no.
>> Yeah, mine mine too.
>> There he goes.
[laughter]
>> Got a problem, guys.
>> Just scope in your civilian wardrobe.
>> Pretty cool, huh?
>> For a fashion victim.
>> Listen, buddy. If you're looking for the
diet frozen yogurt bar went out of
business last summer. Actually, I'm
looking for a Batman number 14.
>> That's a very serious book, man.
>> Only five in existence.
>> Four, actually. I'm always looking out
for the other three.
>> Look, you can't put the Superman number
77s with the 200s. They haven't even
discovered R Kryptonite yet.
>> Where the hell are you from, Krypton?
>> Phoenix, actually. But lucky me, we
moved here.
>> Lucky you. He's cussed us out in the
comments before.
>> He's acting like he's moving to the
middle of nowhere.
>> I don't like horror comics. You like
this one, Mr. Phoenix?
[music]
>> She's just trying to read right now.
>> I thought I heard something.
>> Forget it.
[screaming]
>> That scared the mess out of me when I
was a kid.
>> Well, how do you like that baby? Huh?
>> It's beauty. Come on, let's get in.
>> Wait, can I drive on the way back?
>> Yeah, fat chance. Somebody drives this
baby but me.
>> Got to let it warm up a little. You hear
that? Just like a baby pussycat.
>> Okay, LET'S GO TO TOWN.
>> Cuz it pers. I don't I don't get
[laughter] it.
>> Well, we having fun or what?
>> So, we were going to town.
>> That's as close to town as I like to
get.
[laughter]
>> I don't blame him.
>> Notice anything unusual about Santa
Carla yet?
>> No. It's pretty cool place. If you're a
Martian
>> or a vampire.
>> Are you guys sniffing old newsprint or
something?
>> You think you really know what's
happening around here, don't you? Well,
I'll tell you something. You don't know
buddy.
>> Yeah. You think we just work in a comic
book store for our folks, huh?
>> Actually, I thought it was a bakery.
>> This is just our cover. We're dedicated
to a higher purpose. We're fighters for
truth, justice, and the American way.
>> Damn right we are. [laughter]
>> Read this.
>> Told you.
>> Destroy all the empires. Think of it
more as a survival manual. There's a
number on the back. And pray if you
never need to call us.
>> I'll pray I never need to call you.
Sure.
>> I would make those my friends.
>> Remember that Josh guy who used to work
for you who had the Bronco like the
winch on the front and he was prepping
for the apocalypse? Well, that reminds
me of that kid. [laughter]
>> Looks great. [music]
Definitely enjoy it for sure.
>> Oh, so he's becoming a little more like
>> basically he got a leather jacket.
>> All right. will hurt.
>> This is cutting out. [laughter]
>> It's a ripoff.
>> No, he's signing up to get his ear
pierced.
>> If you want your ear pierced, I'll do
it.
>> What's your name?
>> Star.
>> Oh, your folks, too, huh?
>> What do you mean?
>> Zippies. I came this close to being
called movie.
>> Something like that.
>> Star is great. I like Star.
>> Me, too.
>> I would leave her alone because of them
boys.
>> I He needs to get his dick on straight.
He ain't thinking right.
>> The way she was dancing to that
saxophone guy.
>> Okay.
>> Where you going, [music] Star
>> for a ride? This is Michael.
>> Let's go, Star.
>> Sorry, buddy.
>> You know where Hudson's Bluff is
overlooking the point? I can't beat your
bike. You don't have to beat me,
Michael. You just have to try and keep
up for a ride.
This trips me out because like I'm used
to thinking they're all old and
intimidating, but now they look so young
like kids.
>> I'm just thinking they look like a bunch
of red flags. I don't know why he's
going.
[laughter]
>> Literally every place they go in, they
get kicked out.
Mm-m.
[music]
>> I feel like Michael is horrible with
peer pressure,
>> right?
>> And he wants [clears throat] to hang out
with this crowd bad.
>> He had to like do a wheelie to even go
on that little
[gasps]
Oh no.
>> What the HELL YOU DOING? HUH?
TOO CLOSE TO THE EDGE.
>> Just you. Come on.
>> How far are you willing to go, Michael?
>> You got to admit this movie is pretty
badass, right? The shots are crazy in
this. Unbelievable.
>> I think if you're like a teenage boy,
it's cooler. But I like if I was a young
kid, I would be like, "Whoa, whoa,
whoa." Cuz like adrenaline.
>> Yeah,
>> like an adrenaline movie.
>> Not bad, huh? This was the hottest
resort in Santa Car about 85 years ago.
Too bad they built it on the fault. In
1906 when the big one hit San Francisco,
round opened up. This place took a
header right into the crack. So now it's
ours.
>> So check it out, Mikey.
>> Marco food. That's what I love about
this place. You ask, then you get too.
>> Yeah, that's food. [laughter]
>> You like it here, Michael.
>> 10:00, lights out.
>> Mom.
>> Huh?
>> You know, I can never sleep with a
closet door open either. Unless you do
that,
>> Sam, this is a terrible thing to admit,
but I think that um one of the reasons I
divorced your father was because he
never believed in the closet monster.
[laughter]
>> Oh god,
>> you shouldn't sneak up on people like
that.
>> Brought you something to dress up your
room with, Sam. [laughter]
>> How do you like that?
>> Thanks, Grandpa.
>> Oh, Dad. Really? You shouldn't have.
>> Yeah.
>> Look at that big watch. Shit's cool,
right?
>> Night.
>> Good night, Grandpa.
>> It's like an Andy's room.
>> Lights out.
>> As soon as I finish this comic. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Who's that dude?
>> Yeah. What's up with that?
>> Feeding time. Come and get it, boy.
>> The comments are like, "You don't know
who that is, you dummy."
>> Chinese. You don't like rice? How could
a billion Chinese people be wrong?
[laughter]
Remember when Noah didn't eat his rice?
I said, "How?" I said, "Uh,
>> maggots."
>> Remember that.
>> Maggots, Michael, you're eating maggots.
How do they taste?
>> Leave him alone.
[laughter]
>> It is like Peter Pan.
>> Sorry about that. No hard feelings, huh?
Why don't you try some noodles,
[laughter]
>> Tony?
They're only noodles. Michael
worms.
>> That's enough.
>> Drink some of this. Michael, be one of
us.
>> No, Michael. They've tricked you so many
times tonight.
Why do you want to be like them?
>> Yeah. They're kind of like hazing his
ass in a way. It's
>> blood. I sure
>> it probably really is cuz he did all
those tricks before.
>> So all you got to do is drink blood. You
don't got to get bit in this world,
>> I guess. So I don't want to spoil
anything. Don't be asking me no
questions.
[music]
>> Dang, that leather jacket was the
gateway to
>> Yeah, he shouldn't have bought that.
>> It ruined everything for him.
[music]
>> That was his gateway drug. Now he's
[snorts] sipping blood.
>> It moved fast for him though. Normally
[music] it takes a little bit.
[laughter]
>> I know. He ain't got no backbone.
>> He's a new town, new me, baby.
>> Perfect timing. What's going on? Michael
wants to know what's going on. What's
going on?
>> What's going on, Paul?
>> Wait a minute. Who wants to know?
>> Michael wants to know.
>> I think we should let Michael know
what's going on. Michael, good night.
Michael,
>> mom's away.
>> He's like, damn it. Suicide Cole,
>> come with us, Michael.
I don't trust them. What if they tricked
him and he just jumps off? I
>> was Michael. I'd start running.
[screaming]
>> HEY, MICHAEL. MICHAEL EMERSON. Come on
down.
>> He's like, "Fuck Parkour. Parkour
[laughter] cult.
>> Welcome aboard, Michael.
>> The 80s and their trains." But
>> I know
>> that was their biggest enemy. [laughter]
Don't be scared, Michael.
>> What?
>> Michael, you're one of us. Let's go.
What?
>> You better do a pull up and get back up
there.
[screaming]
Yeah. So, that scene's been in my head
forever.
>> Wake up. It's mom.
>> Mom's home.
>> No, on the phone. Mike,
>> what time is it?
>> It's 2:00.
>> Give me those sunglasses.
>> You need your sunglasses. Talk on the
phone. Are you freebasing? Inquiring
minds want to know.
[laughter]
>> Michael, would you do me a favor? Max
asked me to go to dinner with him after
work tonight. Would you stay home with
Sam? I'd like to go.
>> Okay.
>> Okay, Mom. Thanks, honey. It's a real
favor. Bye-bye.
>> Isn't that such a cool little yard right
there?
>> Yeah.
>> Minus like the bones and creepy carving.
>> I mean, the decor is crazy, but that's
what gives it its charm. But that would
be insane during like a Halloween.
>> Hey, anything around here that might
pass for for after shave.
>> Was that a dog?
>> How about some Windex, Grandpa?
>> Yeah. Yeah. Let me try some of that.
>> You have a big date tonight, Grandpa?
>> Yeah. I'm just going to drop by some of
my handiwork to the widow Johnson. with
your stuff for Mr. Johnson. I'll see you
two guys later.
>> That wasn't funny. Mike,
>> that's so creepy. I'm
>> going to make you sandwich.
>> Don't [snorts] bother.
>> Who's the earring, Mike? It's not you.
It's definitely not you.
>> Piss off.
>> No. All you do is give attitude lately.
You watching too much Dynasty butt.
>> That sounds like your motorcycle friends
pulling up. Sounds like the Sons of
Anarchy done pulled up.
>> Jack's teller.
Michael,
don't open the door.
>> What? What's going on, Mike?
>> Go take your bath.
About [clears throat]
>> them crawled up my leg.
Don't Don't
>> [music]
>> A
>> that's so wholesome. He's just taking a
little bath with his dog.
>> Yeah, [laughter]
[music]
>> he's about to kill this part. His little
high pitch voice he's about to do.
You're about to see
>> ain't
[laughter]
No. [laughter]
>> Oh,
>> good dog.
>> That dog tore his ass up, didn't he?
>> Michael, you there? The nook.
>> Mike, what happened?
>> The nook. He bit me. This is my blood.
>> Why'd he bite you, Mike?
>> Huh?
>> He was protecting you. Look at your
reflection in the mirror.
>> You're creature of the night, Michael.
Just like out of a comic book.
>> Oh, I was about to say, is that how we
knew that?
>> Well, you wait till mom finds out,
buddy. Shame. [laughter]
>> You wait till mom finds out.
>> Good thing he's got that comic. He would
have never known. Reformed school girls.
What is that? Yeah, this guy has some
crazy posters going on. I was hoping
they were grandpa's leftover.
>> You did the right thing by calling us.
>> Bad breath. Long fingernails.
>> Yes, fingernails are all a bit longer.
Um, he always had bad breath though.
[laughter]
>> He's a vampire. All right.
>> In a way, this reminds me of Tobey
Magcguire Spider-Man.
>> You know, it kind of does. It's almost
like he's like going through puberty in
a way, like trying to learn about his
body again.
And I know this one came out first.
Okay, but I just seen this one second.
>> Sam, is everything all right?
>> Mom, I think we have to have a real long
talk about something.
>> Now we SHOULD STAY CALM.
>> CALM [screaming] ABOUT WHAT?
>> NOTHING. [laughter] NOTHING.
>> Who's making that noise?
>> Mom, I can't talk about it on the phone.
It's about Michael.
>> Don't listen to mommy doesn't know what
he's saying. [laughter]
>> Eat that dinner. Eat that dinner.
>> They're ruining it.
>> Hardcore dinner. NO. NO. OFF.
>> A
>> I'm your brother, Sammy. Help me.
[laughter]
>> I mean, you did try to attack him by
your own admission.
>> I know.
>> Like, what do you think would happen to
him? You think he would just float away
like over the ocean? [laughter]
>> I thought he would go to like a hive
mine where Keeper Southerntherland was.
>> Can't sit together, bro.
>> Yeah, like you summoned.
>> What about mom?
>> Just don't don't tell her anything.
>> I don't know, Mike. It's not like
getting a D in school or something, you
know.
>> I'm going to work this out. You trust
me? Okay, Sam.
>> Sam,
>> what are they going to say to this poor
lady?
>> Well, you had me scared to death.
>> Okay, Mom. I was reading a horror comic
and I thought I saw someone on my
window, but I guess I just got a little
carried away. That's all.
>> You got carried away by a comic book?
[laughter]
>> It was a scary comic, Mom. I'm sorry.
>> You know, I've just about had it with
the both of you. You know that? What is
this mess? You spill milk all over the
kitchen floor and don't even bother to
clean it up. Well, I didn't spill it,
Mom.
>> I don't believe you people in the
refrigerator doors wide open. Are we
just trying to refrigerate the whole
neighborhood?
>> You know, it's not fair. I would like to
have a personal life, too. Where's my
>> That's the one on the back of the
motorcycle.
>> Yeah.
[laughter]
>> When you say you get scared of horror
movies and you don't want to go to sleep
and all that, that's the same way she
feels about her son getting carried away
with a horror comic.
>> Yeah. Cuz then you picture it in your
head when you're trying to close your
eyes and it's scary.
>> Can I sleep in here with you tonight?
>> In here? You sure you're all right?
>> I'm fine. It was a real scary comic,
that's all. Do you mind?
>> No, I don't. You've been eating pizza?
>> No. Why?
>> Oo, you smell like garlic. [laughter]
>> So, he's trying to protect her, too.
Kind of.
>> Who? Him?
>> No, the [snorts] um little boy cuz he's
sleeping with her with the garlic.
>> Yeah, I'd imagine so. Either
that or he don't want to die alone.
>> Who's there?
>> Hello, Thor. Oh,
>> is that you, Thor? Is that you making
all that noise?
>> Oh,
stop.
>> That place is insane, isn't it?
>> No, dude.
I'm over here. Michael,
>> what's happening to me? Star.
>> Michael, I can't tell you. I don't know
how to help you. [music]
>> She said, "I can't tell you, but I can
show you."
>> If I was him, I'd be annoyed. I'd be
like, "Dude, my life's over and you're
kissing on me."
>> That's cuz you're not a vampire.
>> Is she? No, don't tell me.
[music and singing]
>> Guys, hopefully this is the last movie
we ever watch without headphones. Proper
headphones. I ordered them. They're
beautiful. I spent a lot of time picking
them out. Hopefully, they sound amazing.
[snorts] I'm very excited to get them.
>> Is he allowed to be sleeping with her?
>> I don't know.
>> I don't really remember.
>> She kind of recruited him in a way,
>> right? They don't seem to be bothered by
it.
>> He was healed from his dog bite super
quick.
>> Hey, aren't we friends anymore?
>> Sure.
>> Does that mean uh we are or um
>> We are.
>> We are. Well, then let's act like
friends. Let's talk. Take off your
glasses.
>> You look stoned doing that.
>> Michael, look at me. If If there's a
girl,
>> I'm tired, Mom. Tired.
>> Looks like I wasn't the only one got
lucky last night, huh? [laughter]
>> He is on sunglasses, too.
>> My apology to Max for running out on him
last night. Which young man you should
be making.
>> HI, THOR. SAM. DAMN.
>> OH, NO.
>> [groaning]
>> DAMN. He's over here breaking the wood.
Y'all better go.
>> Look, guys. My brother's not a blood
sucker. Look, it says here that if you
kill the head vampire, all half vampires
will return to normal. Guys, if my
brother's a vampire, believe me, he's
only half.
>> Does your brother know who the head
vampire is?
>> No, I don't think so.
>> Then you'll have to kill him. [snorts]
And if you don't, then we will.
>> This all started when my mom went to
work at Max's video store. What happens
if my mom is dating the head vampire?
You guys can nail him and save Santa
Carla. Oh, no.
>> I mean, it is sus that he works at a
video store. You know why?
>> Yeah. Why?
>> Cuz when you work at a video store, you
have access to everyone's like address,
their phone number.
>> You have to give them that information.
Yeah.
>> They will blow you up and charge you if
you didn't rewind it.
>> Hell yeah. They show up at your door.
>> Hey, how you doing? You must be Michael,
right?
>> And you must be Max,
>> right? Are you?
>> Well, you're the man of the house, and
I'm not coming in until you invite me.
>> You're invited?
Thanks very much.
>> There we go. You know how they can't
come in unless they're invited. That was
slick, right?
>> I didn't even think about that.
>> I've just seen this movie a lot. So,
>> hi. I didn't hear you come in. Is
>> it all right for the guest to see the
food before dinner?
>> Oh, no. You're thinking of the groom not
seeing the bride before the wedding.
>> Oh, yeah. I always get those confused.
Um, Thorne sends his apologies.
>> Oh, well, tell him I'm walking again.
[laughter]
>> He promises to behave if you come back.
>> Oh, okay. That's
Mom, these are my dinner guests. Edgar
[laughter] and the Frog Brothers.
>> Oh, I didn't know you were having
guests.
>> Well, Mom, you know, if we're in your
way, we can go eat some peanut butter in
the kitchen.
>> No, there's plenty for everybody. Max,
this is my son Sam and uh Edgar and Alan
Frog.
>> Lucy, this looks terrific.
>> Well, I hope it tastes good.
>> M. Wonderful.
>> Boy, somebody around here has bad
breath.
>> Is it Is it a dog panting?
>> No. No. Would you quit breathing on me?
>> No. No. Get upstairs. corn.
>> You want some parmesan cheese on that?
>> Yeah, Sam. Thank you very much.
>> Are they going to ask for garlic?
>> Sam grated the cheese himself.
>> Ah,
>> my son.
>> The budding chef of the family.
>> That did not look like no Parmesan
cheese.
>> It's not cheese. It's It's garlic.
>> But you hate garlic, don't you?
>> No, I like garlic. It's just a little
much
on this poor dude.
>> Garlic? How'd that happen, guys? She
likes garlic.
>> Here, quick, drink some water.
>> Sam, what's the matter with you?
>> Does it burn?
>> Burn? What are you nuts? It's freezing.
>> Oh, look at your suit, Max. And your
>> Oh, I'm so sorry. That's right.
>> Gosh. Now, what?
>> Must be circuit breaker. Mom,
>> he's not glowing.
>> I know. Hit the lights.
>> Sam, what has gotten into
>> I would never come back if I was him. I
think I know what's [laughter] going on
around here tonight. I know what you're
thinking, Sam, but you're wrong.
>> I am.
>> Yeah. I'm not trying to replace your
father or steal your mother away from
>> Just run with that one.
>> I would just like to be your friend.
That's all.
>> Major mistake.
>> Our batting average just
>> Oh, he passed. You can write him off the
list, too.
>> You were so sweet to him just now.
Really? I I don't know what got into
him. He's not like that.
>> Well, I'll tell you, kids Sam's age need
discipline. Otherwise, they run all over
you.
>> He doesn't run over me.
>> Protecting mother. Let's try it once
more. Dinner. My house. Tomorrow night.
I'm cooking.
>> Okay.
Y'all's dates go horrible.
>> Hey. Whoa.
>> Take it easy, Michael. Where's Star?
David. Michael, you ever want to see
Star again? You better come with us now.
>> Dang, I forgot Star was ever missing.
>> This is what I think of every time I
hear this song since I was a little kid.
And they played the song.
What is this?
>> Michael, over here. You don't want to
miss this.
>> I like how the mullets are all just
blowing in the wind.
>> Initiation's over, Michael. Time to join
the club.
>> Oh my gosh. Oh, freaky.
They look so scary, dude. [screaming]
>> So they're acting like straight bats.
[screaming]
>> [music]
>> That's how Payton acts when she don't
want to eat. She just like rolls on the
board.
>> Damn, that was scary.
>> So, [music] now you know what we are.
Now you know what you are.
>> You'll never grow old, Michael. And
you'll never die, but you must [music]
feed.
>> He's plant-based.
>> [music]
>> born to shop. [laughter]
>> You know, I'll be honest. This is the
first time I've ever picked up on all of
his like, you know, subtleties.
>> Wish grandpa would stop giving me these
stupid things.
>> That would be so scary. I'd have to talk
to Grandpa.
>> Oh my [laughter] god.
>> It's okay. I know who I am now. Sam,
>> don't kill me, Mike. I'm basically a
good kid, so just don't kill me. I can
help you. Just tell me who the head
vampire is. I thought it was Max, but I
was wrong. Just work with me and I can
help you. You'll be okay.
>> Michael,
>> it's that girl from the boardwalk. Is
she one of them?
>> I have to talk to you. Can I come up?
>> No. You shut the window and lock your
door.
>> SHE'S ONE OF THEM.
>> It has to be.
>> Don't tell me it doesn't make her a bad
person. Mike,
>> you know where David took me tonight,
don't you, Star? That wasn't wine they
gave me to drinking's blood. That was
David's blood.
>> She literally told you that.
>> What? Are you crazy?
>> I'm just like David now, Star.
>> No, you're not. Until you make your
first kill. You're supposed to be my
first. That's what David wanted.
>> Why did you come here tonight, Star?
>> I was hoping you'd help Lanny and me.
>> Don't kill anybody UNTIL WE GET BACK to
you. [laughter]
>> What are you doing?
>> He's so connections.
>> I love that he's like doing all this
vampire scheming while he's born to
shop.
>> Yeah. [laughter]
>> When I was a kid, I never realized that
one time. I think he's gay, right? Is he
not? Or is he by? Not that it matters,
but I just never noticed that as a kid.
I GUESS.
>> HEY, GRANDPA. I DON'T DANCE BEFORE YOUR
CAR.
>> He's kind of [music] like a doomsday
prepper.
>> Yeah.
>> He's a cool grandpa, though. He's very
accepting of his grandkids considering
they grew up in a whole different state.
>> Weapons check. How much you going down
there?
>> I'm going. Look, this isn't a comic
book, Sam. These guys are brutal
killers.
>> So are the frog brothers.
>> Check me.
>> Look, who would you rather go down with
you? Them or me? If something happens
down here, I'm not going to have the
strength to protect you.
>> Well, this time I'll protect you, bud.
Even though you're a vampire, you're
still my brother.
>> A
sweet.
>> Just so you know, if you try to stop us
or vamp out in any way, then I'll stake
you without even thinking twice about
it.
>> Chill out, Edgar. Come on.
>> When did you say you met these guys?
>> It's a good thing he did.
>> Holy
>> Vampire Hotel.
>> They're either the best people to know
or the worst people. [laughter] Here's
what's wrong. The shaker, man.
>> Don't you TOUCH HER. YOU STAY AWAY FROM
HER.
>> COME ON. Vampire has such rotten temp.
Stop. The rest of them got to be around
here someplace. Let's find him.
>> I'm taking you out of here.
>> No. Take Laddy first, please.
>> I feel trapped. I think there's
something up here.
>> Check it out, Sam. Come on. I'LL BE
RIGHT BACK, MIKE. COME ON, SAM. LET'S
GO. BLUE. MOVE. We're on the right
trail. Flies and the undead go together
like bullets and guns.
>> Do they not seem a little outmatched to
you? Like [laughter]
>> unless they just got all the tricks.
>> There's a smell.
>> Vampires, my friend.
It's
>> freezing in here. Come on, guys. Looks
like a dead end. Let's head back. Huh?
>> They must have been new coffins around
here someplace.
>> There's nothing here. Let's go, guys.
>> JESUS. [gasps]
>> Why are you yelling? I [clears throat]
thought they were supposed to be in
coffins.
>> Stop shining lights on.
>> Truth is, it's one giant coffin. Right
now, we're at the most vulnerable.
Remember, you just have to kill a
leader. Huh? We don't know which one the
leader is. I guess we'll just have to
kill them all. We'll start with the
little one.
>> No, don't even.
>> Good night, blood sucker.
>> No. [groaning and screaming]
>> Oh,
>> let's go. One down.
>> [laughter]
>> That's like when you swing on one wasp,
but there's a whole nest.
>> Oh my god.
[screaming]
>> Oh, is he holding a cross up?
>> Yeah.
>> Just like on Blade.
>> [screaming]
>> They don't do that on Twilight.
>> A
>> Mike starts call.
>> Did you say a
>> Yeah, he had a little that hurt.
>> I don't give a dang. I hate that guy.
>> We blew it, MAN. WE LOST IT. SHUT UP. WE
UNRAVELED IN THE FACE OF THE ENEMY.
>> IT'S NOT OUR FAULT. THEY PULLED A MIND
SCRAMBLE ON US. THEY OPENED THEIR EYES
AND TAUGHT.
>> I'll drive. We don't ride with vampires.
>> Fine. Stay here.
>> Look how glittery they are.
>> We do now. Burn rubber.
Oh god. Oh my god.
>> Christ. Burn rubber does not mean warp
speed.
>> No road needs to be that close to the
edge of a cliff.
>> Nope.
>> None. Especially with all that real
estate.
>> Your dog was a flesh eater when he
smelled.
>> Take him outside.
>> You know the rule about filling up the
car with gas when you take it without
asking?
>> No, Grandpa.
>> Now you do.
He just has a girl in his armor.
>> Yeah, [laughter]
>> they're all glittery.
>> We definitely blew plan A. Time to
activate plan B. Okay, what's plan B?
>> We don't have one yet. We only have 2
and 1/2 hours to come UP WITH ONE.
>> WHY? WHAT'S IN 2 AND 1 HALF HOURS?
>> SUN WILL GO DOWN. THEY'LL BE LOOKING FOR
US.
>> MOM, LISTEN. I GOT TO tell you
something. It's real important. Santa
Carla's crawling with vampires. Mom,
>> no. Not another word. I don't believe
you're doing this. I'm going to see Max
tonight and you're trying to ruin it for
me.
>> No, I'm not.
>> Honey, there's nothing wrong with Max. I
I'll deal with you later, young man. Hm.
>> Guys, we
>> Man, I miss video stores. They used to
be so cool.
>> I know.
>> It is the timing of Max, though, that
[laughter] it is looking like he's
trying to sabotage.
>> Yeah, absolutely.
>> Oh, no.
>> Y'all [laughter]
>> Well, they need it.
>> They can't get mad. It's for everybody,
right? [laughter]
Grandpa, the widow Johnson called. She
said to pick her up at 7:00 instead of
8. Okay,
>> we got a date tonight.
>> I guess so. She said not to be late.
>> I better get cleaned up then. [laughter]
>> He's just going to roll up there.
>> Hell yeah. Well, he's got his knockers
on.
>> Sorry, Mr. Vampire.
Where do you get a bag of garlic that
big on such short notice?
>> Costco.
>> Does this feel like home alone? A little
bit
>> a little like this is our house. We must
protect it.
>> They made some garlic holy water,
[laughter]
won't they?
>> They coming for all of us.
>> Daddy, wake up.
>> Oh,
>> is that feet?
>> That look like your feet.
>> Loud. That's how Scott toenails were.
>> Uh-uh. I'm sorry, babe. You cannot tell
me that. [music]
>> Probably shouldn't have name dropped
them so damn hard. [laughter]
>> Damn.
>> There's multiple.
[music]
>> Thorn, stop that.
>> What's the matter, Lucy?
>> Oh, just old memories coming back. I
>> No, seriously. Why are you so jumpy
tonight?
>> No. Well, it's something, Sam. He came
into the store and you know it was just
a kid's imagination.
>> Uhoh.
Where's that song? Where's the synth
music?
Come outside. DON'T GO OUT THERE. STOP
IT.
SAM, STOP.
>> This little kid gives me like a little
Rambo vibe. This one.
>> [screaming]
>> Take them upstairs.
>> Well, here we go.
>> Damn,
>> that was an awesome entrance. Not going
to lie.
>> What was better, that entrance or Penny
Wise's exit in the drain?
>> Uh, that entrance cuz that exit was not
it.
>> And it [laughter] when he jumps down the
drain.
>> I know. for a living. HEY, [screaming]
>> YOU'RE MINE. YOU KILL MARCO.
>> YEAH, YOU'RE NEXT.
>> NO, YOU'RE NEXT.
>> Throw him in the bath.
>> Yeah,
DON'T WOR, BOYS. [screaming]
>> TRY HOLDING WATER. DEATH BREATH.
>> Got him. Dunk him in there. [screaming]
>> Oh, I forgot that this happens.
>> Dog assist.
>> [screaming]
>> The goodest boy.
[screaming]
[laughter]
[screaming]
[gasps and sighs]
>> Oh, this is just like it. Same exact
handles on the sink, too. [screaming]
>> Boy, they'll tear your plumbing up. God
dang. Mike, Mike, Mike, wake up.
>> Oh my gosh.
[screaming]
>> Head shot.
>> He pulled his strap out and shot him in
the face.
>> Uh-uh. Don't
>> you miss sucker. once, PAL.
>> HEY, that woke them up.
>> If they make it out of this, they're
going to have to move.
I feel like grandpa's going to be
taxiderermy these damn vampires near
totally annihilated his nightstalking
ASS [laughter]
all vampires.
>> [snorts]
>> Oh no.
[screaming]
>> No.
He's just a little vamp.
>> Stay away from him. He's just a little
boy.
>> Tried to make YOU IMMORTAL.
>> YOU TRIED TO MAKE ME A KILLER.
[laughter]
>> DAMN.
>> Oh
>> Oh, I see where this is going.
>> Oh, that was close. It's too late. My
blood is in your veins.
>> You're weird.
>> Soul is mine.
>> Oh, [screaming]
>> shout out to Grandpa's Weird Hobbies,
>> right? Death by taxiderermy.
[music]
>> Are you noticing something?
>> That he's in charge now? No, he's not in
charge, obviously. Huh?
>> Mike,
>> don't let them SEE ME LIKE THIS.
>> MICHAEL.
>> YEAH.
>> GET AWAY, SAM.
>> Michael helped out.
>> What's the big deal? You destroyed THE
HEAD VAMPIRE. IT'S all over. Nothing's
changed. And there's still one more.
>> Sam. Michael,
>> I'll handle mom. Come on. Go. Don't let
us see any of the bodies.
>> Sam, what the HELL IS GOING ON?
>> WHAT HAPPENED?
>> I THINK WE have to have a heavy.
Listen. Wait. No. I think I should have
remember the fight Michael and I got
into that.
>> This has nothing to do with the
>> Didn't they say garlic didn't work?
>> I'm sorry.
>> They did.
>> This is all my fault. David and my boys
misbehaved. I told you boys need a
mother.
>> Max, what are you talking about?
>> Oh, man. Max,
>> I knew it. You're the head vampire. Sam,
don't start this again.
>> You're the secret that David was
protecting.
>> Who's this?
>> Well, you passed the test.
>> Don't ever invite a vampire into your
house, you silly boy. It renders you
powerless.
>> Did you know that?
>> Of course, everyone knows that.
>> Has anyone gone crazy here? What's the
matter with all of you?
>> It was you I was after all along, Lucy.
>> What?
>> I knew that if I could get Sam and
Michael into the family, [music] there's
no way you could say no.
>> Where's Michael? It was all going to be
so perfect, Lucy. Just like one big
happy family.
>> She'd had to get divorced twice.
>> Your boys would have been able to.
>> And my boys.
>> Great. The blood sucking Brady Bunch.
[clears throat]
>> And I still want you, Lucy.
>> Then he changed my mind about that.
>> I didn't invite you this time, Max.
DAMN,
>> he is so scary looking. Don't fight,
Lucy. So much better if you don't fight.
>> Mom, don't.
>> Mom, no.
Mom.
Oh,
>> let's go, Pops.
[laughter]
They look like scientists working on
like an explosive uh
>> like oven.
>> Yeah, like working on like a nuclear
bomb or something. right now. Kick your
ass, man. [laughter]
>> Oh my god, man. Rest in peace to this
unbelievable actor.
>> It's over.
>> Starv
okay.
>> Oh, Michael.
Michael. Oh, my boys.
>> How much you think we should charge him
for this? [laughter]
>> Yeah.
Dad, are you all right?
>> One thing about living in Santa Car, I
never could stomach. All the damn
vampires.
[laughter]
>> That's why he doesn't go into town.
[music]
>> Was this not the best ending ever? That
was so perfect.
>> It is pretty good. Oh, the damn vampires
[music]
come out in the rain
when you're strange.
Well, I still like that movie just as
much as I ever did. So, that was fun.
That was really good to catch up and
watch that movie. Um, for the most part,
nothing was really different too much
since when I watched it as a kid, other
than the fact that, uh, you know what I
said in the movie, but um, other than
that, still just like a perfect movie
with a perfect cast to me in my opinion.
What did you think?
>> I had a lot of fun with it. I thought of
all the vampire movies I've seen, that
one was like a subtle like you know how
most of them they like I don't know how
to explain them. They're kind of corny
in a way.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, I only say that cuz like I've seen
Twilight and From Dust Dawn really
vampire wise. Blade seen Blade. Yeah,
that was more of like a superhero movie.
>> Yeah. So, I don't really count Blade too
much, but when in regards to this one, I
really enjoyed it because the lore was
just like slowly added in there. And
like the two boys, the frog boys,
>> they made it so much fun because they
were kind of like the ones you would
discover all the stuff from, even though
they weren't perfect cuz they're kids,
you know?
>> I really love this movie.
>> It kind of felt like the Goonies but
with vampires in a way.
>> Yeah, it was like
>> but like not in a bad way. Like in the
best possible way, but like a horror
version.
>> Yeah, exactly. So far, all of these
movies have sort of they how do I put
it? Cory Felman's movies have sort of
had a similar feel to them.
>> Yeah.
>> And that kid just makes me want to like
have an adventure of a lifetime.
>> Yeah. And
>> that's kind of what we did on this, too.
He was awesome. I thought that um he was
such a a funny part of this movie. I
love his deep little voice and stuff
that he did.
>> I just really like every character in
this movie. I can't say one bad thing
about it. So
>> yeah, I thought it was I The mom was the
best part. I I always thought the mom
was just so great only cuz my mom would
have been slapping my ass. [laughter]
>> Well, it's just because she just was
getting like she was on the outside of
it, but she was trying so hard to just
like navigate her teenage sons. Oh my
god.
>> She was just a victim of their like
>> But you know, I did realize Stranger
Things in this a lot. Like Billy like
like you know how they take little
characters from every single '8s thing
and they add it to Stranger Things.
Well, I see Billy's uh I see where
Billy's from now. My biggest takeaway
after watching this as an adult is like
I said guys, this could have been a
complete just like the biggest flop of a
film of all time, but if I happened upon
it as a kid and I happened to have it
and I enjoyed it, it didn't really
matter like what the box office sold or
anything like that or people's opinions.
But in my opinion, watching this as an
adult, I thought this movie was
genuinely phenomenal. And I guess the
reason I liked it as a kid is because it
was such a great movie. I didn't realize
Kefir Southern was going to go on to do
like 24 and all that stuff. So, I didn't
realize that he was going to become such
a big star when I was watching this
movie as a kid. So, matter of fact, this
might be the first role I ever seen that
guy in. It probably is.
>> Oh, really?
>> Yeah, probably. Probably. So, the same
with um Cory Felman. This is probably
the first movie I've ever seen him in.
It probably is cuz I can't I can't even
think of a movie I've seen him in
besides this one. So,
>> I think it's cool that they're that they
use them like in that they use Cory
Feldman in all three of those.
>> Um cuz those movies all do have a
similar vibe.
>> Yeah, they have a Cory Felman vibe.
Yeah, he is the vibe.
>> Coryman.
>> Yeah, I I just really like this movie a
lot. Um I can't believe I can't What was
Mike's little brother's name?
>> Sam.
>> Yes, Sam. Sam was Sam's my favorite
character in this movie, guys. I think
Sam is so funny. Um when he's singing, I
got a home.
>> Like when he when he does that whole
thing. I've had that stuck in my head
like for
>> I know. I've actually heard you sing
that like before.
>> Yeah, probably. So [laughter] I'm just a
lonely boy.
Yeah, I've definitely I like in the
shower. You heard me sing that? Yeah, I
was saying that in the shower before.
[laughter] Um, but yeah, he's always my
favorite character in this. Uh, he was
even funnier as an adult because
>> just because he's just like such a
quirky little kid, you know? Um, when I
watched this movie, like all these kids
were older than me or like uh
>> like Sam, for example, was older than
me, you know, and then
>> Michael, forget it. He was like a grown
man to me.
>> He looked like a grown man anyways.
>> Yeah. [laughter] Yeah. Yeah, he did. But
I would have known something was weird
about the town when I saw like that
trump that saxophone dude and everyone
was like just dancing so hard to that
situation.
>> I would have been like, "What's up with
this town?"
>> Yeah. You talking about uh Phil Collins?
>> Yeah.
>> I don't know why I thought that, guys.
But for real, my I think it was my
cousin who told me that, right? I think
it was I think it was Michael. Yeah, I
think it was Michael, but he told me
that. And so my whole life I've just I
don't know. I thought Phil Collins was
him. [laughter]
I was like, "Hey, Phil Collins, hell
yeah."
>> The soundtrack in this movie was A1.
>> Yeah. I wish I'd had my headphones. It
would have been a little better, you
know. But guys, listen,
>> I love 80s music though. I've just like
discovered it and I love it.
>> A couple years ago, you discovered it.
>> But to me, that's just discovering it
cuz it's been around, I don't know,
forever.
>> I like '8s music. So, we put her on. Um,
other than that, I don't really have
anything to add. I just thought the
movie was really good. But it was
actually really scary. And once again,
the thing I really like the most about
the movie is I just feel like it was
beautiful. Like I feel like the movie
was beautifully shot.
>> The scenery was amazing. Like
>> I even like the aerial shots.
>> I wonder why they gave a a Okay, so they
were filming this in Santa Cruz, but
they called it Santa
>> Clara.
>> Santa Clara. So I wonder why. Like I
wonder why they didn't just call it
where it was. If that makes sense. It's
I I have no idea. So guys, let me know
why they made the decision not to call
it the town that it was. Why did they
make it like a fantasy town in a way?
Like a uh
>> like dairy.
>> Yeah. Do you get what I'm trying to say?
Um yeah. So [clears throat] why did they
do that? Because they could have just
chose the town. That's probably a dumb
question to even ask. I don't know. It's
probably irrelevant. But I was just
wondering all the way till the end and
then they answered it in the end.
>> I was like why does he want Michael so
bad? Like do they have if they have
numbers does it help them? I would feel
like they wouldn't want numbers so they
could take all the people and eat them.
>> Oh yeah.
>> So I was like that was strange. But then
of course the Max guy answered it within
the last like 10 minutes.
>> Hey, you know why I put it together that
that guy worked at the video store and
that was creepy cuz I knew he was the
bad guy the whole time, right?
Obviously, but it's cuz when we watched
Scream, you know how they were
suspecting the guys who worked at the
video store?
>> I remember in the comments they was
saying that like when you work at the
video store you have access to
everyone's personal information. They
kept calling these people
>> and they said it on Stranger Things when
Robin was into that girl. She found out
she was gay through watching like some
movie and she like had it rewound on
like some booby scene or something
>> and then remember so they like knew
because she
>> I can't believe kids used to do that.
[laughter]
Unbelievable. That shit's crazy.
[snorts] Knowing how deep into a movie
to go. [laughter]
That was crazy.
What was you saying?
>> No, I was just saying in the 80s they
make a bunch of um video store like
references.
>> They do make a lot of video store
references. I actually miss video
stores. I used to wonder aimlessly
knowing already what I was going to
rent. And
>> me too. Meaning girls every time. Bring
it on. Mean Girls.
>> I would sit there.
>> I own Bring It On. I'll rent it
sometimes.
>> My sister own Bring It On. You know, I
don't think I've seen that. I I might
have but I can't really quote I can't
really think of that one.
>> I can
>> name something. No, I don't. But bring
it on.
>> Well, we need to quote the movie from
start to finish.
>> I was going to watch that on her channel
when we were watching her chickflick,
but I never got to it.
>> But I know that she had that movie cuz
all the girls were like
>> really into it, [laughter] I guess. I
don't know. All right. Like, comment,
