While these later events do not provide boosted shiny rates like the opening Glimmora event did, they compensate by increasing the likelihood of finding Pokémon with specific marks; specifically, players will see higher chances for the Angry Mark on Mankey and Primeape outbreaks in Paldea, as well as the Intellectual Mark on Girafarig and Farigiraf during their respective weeks. The final week culminates in a seven-star Dark-type Kingambit raid from August 20th to September 3rd, paired with outbreaks for Pawniard, Bisharp, and Kingambit that feature an increased chance of the Charismatic Mark appearing on wild encounters.
Although most of these mass outbreak events will not have boosted shiny rates except for the initial Glimmora event, players can still utilize sandwiches to easily obtain shinies during any of the outbreaks where they are available. The video highlights that while finding specific marked Pokémon becomes more common in later weeks, obtaining shiny versions remains a viable goal through sandwich mechanics unless explicitly restricted by game design changes not mentioned here. Additionally, these new raids introduce nearly two boxes worth of seven-star Tera Raid Pokémon to the game's roster before future updates like Winds and Waves arrive, adding substantial depth to the post-game content available in both Scarlet and Violet titles.

Hello friends, welcome back to the
channel. Eight brand new events have
just been announced [music] in Pokémon
Scarlet and Violet that will be running
over this summer. In today's video,
we're going to cover all of the details
so you don't miss any of them when they
drop in game.
Now, just when you think events are
slowing down in Pokémon Scarlet and
Violet, we get the announcement of a
brand new summer series that will
feature eight events that will be
running weekly over the next 4 weeks
from the 7th of August until the 3rd of
September. The first of these events
will kick off on the 7th of August next
week as we're recording this video and
will feature a brand new seven-star Tera
Raid event for a grass Tera type
Glimmora. Alongside this as well, we're
going to see mass outbreak events for
Glimmet and Glimmora in Paldea and
Kitakami and they will have boosted
shiny rates. So, unlike recent outbreak
events that we've had in game, these
will have no mark boosts, but they will
have increased shiny rates, meaning that
you're going to be able to get the shiny
forms of these Pokémon a lot easier in
game. Now, following the seven-star
Glimmora and outbreak events on the 14th
of August and running through till the
20th, we will see a new event featuring
seven-star Annihilape. This will be also
joined by mass outbreak events which
will feature Mankey and Primeape
outbreaks in Paldea and Mankey,
Primeape, and Annihilape outbreaks in
Kitakami. Mass outbreak events for these
Pokémon won't have boosted shiny rates,
unfortunately, but they will have the
increased boosted rates of having the
angry mark. So, that one doesn't have
boosted shiny rates, but it does have a
boosted mark rate for all of those
Pokémon featured in this event. And when
that one ends on the 20th, on the 21st
of August and running through till the
27th, we will then see another
seven-star Tera Raid event, this time
featuring a fairy Tera type Farigiraf
seven-star raid. This will also be
accompanied by Girafarig outbreaks in
Paldea and then Girafarig and Farigiraf
outbreaks in the Blueberry Academy.
Again, these outbreaks aren't going to
have boosted shiny rates, but they will
have the increased chances of the
intellectual mark. So, you'll be able to
find these Pokémon in particular with
that mark a little bit more common than
[music] you would normally. And then the
final event to end this summer series
will run from the 20th of August and
through to the 3rd of September, which
is my birthday, which is a nice nice day
for it to finish on. We'll be featuring
a seven-star Tera Raid event for a
Kingambit. It will have the dark Tera
typing here. It will also be accompanied
by mass outbreak events. These will be
for Pawniard and Bisharp in Paldea and
Pawniard, Bisharp, and Kingambit in
Kitakami. The mass outbreak event
features an increased chance to find
these with the charismatic mark. So,
they're not going to have boosted shiny
rates, but of course, even though they
haven't got boosted shiny rates, any of
the the three final events
outbreak-wise, you will still be able to
use sandwiches and get them with and
shiny pretty easily. It's just that
Glimora and Glimmet one that we see at
the start that are going to mean that
we're going to be able to easily find
shinies from those. But of course, the
seven-star Tera Raid events that are
going to be coming brand new as well are
pretty powerful Pokémon. I don't expect
these seven-star Tera Raid events to be
easy by any means in the least. So, we
will be doing update videos each and
every week when these events do drop,
just going over the best builds to take
down these seven-star Pokémon so you can
add them to your collection. We're
getting quite a few new seven-star Tera
Raid Pokémon now in game. Nearly two
boxes worth of seven-star Tera Raid
Pokémon, and I'm sure we've probably got
more to come before Winds and Waves
drops. But it's nice to see more events
coming to Scarlet and Violet. Of course,
at the moment we've got those seven-star
raids for Magikarp running in game. And
then we've got the outbreak events which
feature the water-type Pokémon, the
Basculegion, the Feebas, the Poliwhirl,
the Slowpoke, and the other Pokémon that
are running at the minute. As soon as
that ends, this summer series does
begin. So, a very quick update today
with events that are coming up in the
summer. I hope you're excited for them.

looking forward to the seven star terror
raid event for Annihilape. I think that
one is going to be very difficult
considering that we always probably take
Annihilape into seven star raid bosses
more than any other Pokémon, I think.
This one is probably going to live up to
its reputation of being probably one of
the best Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet.
So, interesting to see what is going to
take that Pokémon down especially with
things like rage fist with the defiant
ability as well. It's going to be a
tough one indeed, but we'll get to that
when that event drops on when the 14th
