Video summary

The sermon titled "God Is Fighting For You," delivered by Pastor William Lee, centers on the spiritual reality that believers are engaged in a cosmic battle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness. Drawing from Ephesians 6:10-12, the pastor emphasizes that while humanity faces an enemy named Satan who wages war for every soul, God is actively fighting on behalf of His children even when they are sleeping or unaware. The message reassures listeners that although the devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, believers possess a greater power within them through Christ. This divine protection extends to unseen forces; Pastor Lee shares an anecdote about narrowly avoiding a fatal car accident due to angelic intervention, illustrating how God guards His people behind the scenes during life's most dangerous moments. A significant portion of the teaching addresses the critical importance of guarding one's mind against the enemy's influence through media and social platforms. The pastor explains that Satan targets human intellect specifically because controlling the frontal lobes allows him to cloud judgment and prevent individuals from making decisions for God. He warns young people in particular about becoming addicted to devices and consuming content that feeds foolishness, noting that anything controlling attention inevitably influences behavior and affections. To counteract this spiritual warfare, believers are called to be peculiar—a chosen generation distinct from the world—and must actively resist temptation by submitting themselves to God daily so that they can flee when faced with evil. The sermon powerfully illustrates these truths through the biblical account of Jesus healing a man possessed by demons in Mark 5:1-20. The pastor describes how this individual, living among tombs and unable to be tamed like an animal due to his possession, ran to worship Jesus at His approach despite being out of his mind. This reaction demonstrates that even demonic spirits recognize the authority of Christ and bow before Him. Upon encountering Jesus, the man was not only freed from over 5,000 demons but also restored physically by receiving clothes and mental clarity, symbolizing how believers are clothed in the righteousness of Christ when they come to God. The transformation highlights that while old things pass away, new life emerges through a personal relationship with Jesus, who replaces destructive desires with His Spirit's power. Ultimately, Pastor Lee concludes that victory is assured for those who call upon the name of Jesus, referencing his own experience where he felt demonic hands choking him until he invoked Christ's name and was instantly delivered. He encourages everyone to reject negative labels like depression or failure by embracing their identity as children of God destined for victory. The message ends with an urgent invitation for listeners to surrender their lives to Jesus now, trusting that the Lord is a strong tower providing safety and strength against all enemies. By living in this intimate relationship with Christ, believers can break generational curses, overcome personal struggles, and walk confidently in the light of God's marvelous love without fear for the future.

Praise God today. What a blessing blessing that song was minister to my heart today. I'm going to invite you to bow your heads with me as we go to God in prayer. Let's pray together. Eternal Father in heaven, God, we are so grateful that you have brought us to this midday service to worship your holy name. Now God, we do ask that you would indeed move in this place through the preaching of your holy word. God, give us ears to hear, minds to understand, and then the will to be able to walk in your will and in your way. We thank you, oh God, for your word today that is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Speak to us, God, even now, for we do ask it in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. I invite you to take your Bibles with me to go with me to the book of Ephesians today, Ephesians chapter 6. I'm going to begin to reading beginning at verse number 10. Ephesians chapter 6. And beginning at verse number 10, our sermon today is entitled God is fighting for you. God is fighting for you. Ephesians chapter 6. And beginning at verse number 10. The word of God says today, Bible says, Paul says, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Again, our subject today is entitled God is fighting for us. Beloved, if the cosmic curtain could be removed, you would see today that there is a war that is going on for every single last one of our souls. The Bible tells us that we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. That is, we don't wrestle against each other. But, the Bible says that we wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The Bible is clear today that we have an enemy, and the enemy's name is the devil and Satan. There's a battle that is going on for every single last one of our souls. This earth that we live in right now is the center stage of a drama between Christ and between Satan. The Bible says in John 10 and verse 10 that the thief cometh only to steal, kill, and destroy. But, I've come that you may have a life and have life more abundantly. There is a battle that is raging right now. You see, ladies and gentlemen, the devil believes that he can destroy every single last one of us. He has waged a war against our children. He's waged war against the church of the living God. He's waged war against every single last one of us, but I thank God today that our God is more powerful than the devil is. Who says, "Amen?" Our God is fighting for us every single day of our lives. Matter of fact, I read one time that that while we were sleeping at night, that there was a warfare going on for our souls. But the reason we were able to wake up and be in our right mind is because God sent his angels to keep us all throughout the night season. What a powerful God we serve. God is fighting for us right now. God desires that we will submit to his holy will and his holy way every single day. The Bible says that the angel of the Lord encampeth around those that fear him. I thank God for his Holy Spirit and his angels. God is always working behind the scenes right now to be able to deliver us from the hands of the enemy. Hear me today. I want to specifically preach today to all of us, but definitely our young people on today. Young people, hear me again. There is a war that is going on for your soul. The devil wants your mind because he understands if he can have your mind, he can have your entire body. But the Bible says, "Greater is he that's within us than he that's within this world." In other words, we as the people of God can have more power than the devil has. How many of y'all can say amen? We are more than conquerors according to the word of God. The devil does not have power over us. We can have power over the enemy. Take your Bibles right now. Go with me to Revelation chapter 12. Let's look this morning at the origin of the great controversy. Revelation chapter 12 and beginning now with verse number seven. This battle that is going on for the human soul, Revelation 12 and verse 7 through 9, the Bible says these words. The Bible says, "And there was war." There was what, everybody? War in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon fought and his angels. Now, stop right there. The Bible says there was war where, everybody? In heaven. Michael, which is the warrior name for Jesus. Whenever you see the word Michael in scripture, it shows us that it is Jesus that is fighting for you and I. Matter of fact, the word Michael, that word L, that if you look at L, E, L, it means God. And in Michael, Mike means who is like. So, in other words, who is like God? This is the warrior name for Jesus. Jesus and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon fought and his angels. Now, speak to me, somebody. Who is the dragon? Satan is. And the Bible says in verse 8, "And prevailed not. Neither was their place found any more in heaven." "For the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him." Look at the word of God today. Where was the devil cast out? The Bible says that he was cast out into the earth, planet Earth right now. How many angels were cast out with him that are now living on Earth. Well, the Bible says in Revelation chapter 1 that 1/3 of the stars of heaven, the stars equal angels, they were cast out onto the Earth. Now, I want you to understand this somebody because while God has sent his angels, we also understand that there is demons on this Earth as well. The enemy, amen, the enemy has allowed for his angels to roam to and fro up on the Earth. Hear me today, the devil does not live underneath the Earth. Are you hearing me somebody? The devil does not live underneath the Earth. The Bible says the devil was cast out onto the Earth. He is walking about as a roaring lion seeking who he may devour. Now, if there are and I believe this that every last one of us have guardian angels. How many of y'all believe that today? You believe that? That God has given us guardian angels. I say hallelujah for that. That God has angels that are standing beside us every single day. Well, let's do some math right now. If there are around I believe it's around 8 billion a little over 8 billion humans on Earth right now. And all of these angels, there are these 8 billion that we know about angels that are guardian angels even now. 1/3 of those angels in heaven were cast out. That means this, that there are billions and billions of fallen angels that are walking around on planet Earth. And they're not just walking around casually, they are trying to destroy the people of God. The Bible says that there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold a great red dragon having seven heads and 10 horns and seven crowns upon his head, and he drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered for to devour her child as soon as it was to be born. Planet Earth is the center stage of a drama between Christ and between Satan, and you and I are in the midst of that battle right now. There's a war that's going on. That's why the Bible tells us today hear the word of God. 1 Peter 5 and verse 8. The Bible says, "Be sober. Be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a what everybody? Roaring lion walketh about seeking in whom he may devour." The enemy is trying to devour every single last one of us. Hear me today young people somebody that we need to be careful what we yield our minds to. When I was growing up in the church, we used to sing a little song that said, "Be careful little eyes what you see. Be careful little ears what you hear." And the reality is is that one of the main avenues that the enemy comes in is through the avenues of media, through the things that we watch, the things that we hear, and I want to tell you right now in the name of Jesus, everybody be careful on how we open ourselves to hands of the enemy. I want to tell you this right now that Look at the screen right now that social media and I believe all of us at some point are on and have been on social media. While it is a great tool to connect with people, how many of y'all know that so many of our young people are addicted to social media? They're always on cell phones, are always on a tablet playing games. You can hardly keep their attention today because the enemy is always trying to get and capture our minds. Hear me. The last battleground that the enemy is coming after, he's coming after our minds. Our frontal lobes. Why? Because that is where we make decisions for God or against God. And the enemy says, "If I can cloud your mind with so much foolishness and nonsense, then you will not make a decision for Jesus Christ." That's why the Bible says, "Let this mind be in you that is also in Christ Jesus." You've got to be careful what you allow to come into your mind. Come on, say amen somebody. Anything that controls your attention can influence your behavior. Can I say it again? Anything that can control your attention can influence your behavior. In other words, anything that constantly feeds your mind can influence your affections. Anything that repeatedly tells you who you ought to be can make you forget who God says you are. First Peter, oh I love this. First Peter chapter 2 and verse 9. Look at the word of God. First Peter 2 and verse 9, the Bible says, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people that you shall show forth the praises of him that called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." Church, we are a chosen generation. We are a royal priesthood. We are a holy nation. We are not to be like everybody else. GOD HAS CALLED US TO BE PECULIAR. GOD HAS CALLED us to be different. And I thank God for the Seventh-day Adventist Church that understands that we cannot be like everybody else. We cannot drink everything that everybody drinks. We cannot wear everything that everybody else wears. We cannot behave like the world. God has called us out of the world to be light for the world. God has called us to be light in these last days. And I thank God for the light of Jesus Christ. There is a controversy that is going on around us. And I want to look at it right now. There's a story that I want to look at from the word of God. It is one of the most powerful stories in the Bible. And I want you to hear me right now. Mark chapter 5, go there right now. Mark 5 and beginning at verse number 1. I want you to see just how evil the devil is and just how good our God is. Mark chapter 5 and beginning now at verse number one, the Bible says this, "And they came over on the other side of the sea into the country of the Gadarenes. And when he, Jesus, was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit." Verse three says, "Who had his dwelling among the tombs. And no man could bind him, no, not with chains. Because that he had often been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces. Neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs crying and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him. And he cried with a loud voice and said, "What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God that thou torment me not." For he said unto him that demons come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, "What is thy name?" And he answered and said, "My name is legion, for we are many." And he, the demons, besought him that he would not send them away out of the country. Now, there was nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, "Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them." And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirit went out and entered into the swine. And the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea. And there was about 2,000 and were choked in the sea. And they that fed fed the swine fled and told it in the city and the country. And they went out to see that which was done. Verse 15. And they come to Jesus and see him that was possessed with the devil that had the legion sitting and clothed in his right mind, and they were afraid. And they that saw it told them how it be fell him that was possessed with the devil and also concerning the swine. And they began to pray him, Jesus, to depart out of their coasts. And when he was come into the ship that had been possessed he had that been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. Two more verses. Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but said unto him, "Go home to thy friends and tell him how great things the Lord has done for thee and have that compassion on thee." Last verse. And he departed and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him, and all men did marvel. Who says amen to God's word? Oh, don't miss this today. The Bible says that there was a man that was a literally out of his mind. Bible says that he lived in the hill countries amongst the dead. His physical address is the graveyard. This man is being possessed by demons. This man in our text today has yielded himself to an unclean spirit. He now begins to have self-abusive behavior. He's cutting himself. He's screaming at the top of his lungs. He's out of his mind in the text today. And the Bible says that while he is living there in the country in the graveyards, that he is not only abusive, but he's violent. His mind is gone. He's lost his senses. He has supernatural strength. He cannot be tamed by anybody. No man can tame him. Matter of fact, you don't tame men, you tame animals. SO, WHAT THE BIBLE IS TRYING to help us see was that this man was more like an animal than he was really a man. Uh, but the Bible says this. Bible says, "But when he saw Jesus afar off, oh, I feel like preaching somebody right now. He ran and worshipped him." Now, I don't want you to miss this right now. This man is out of his mind. This man is being possessed by demons. BUT THE MOMENT THE man sees Jesus, the Bible says the man begins running to Jesus. That is, the man is running, but the demons are running and the Bible says that they fall down and begin to worship Jesus. Oh, church of the living God, the demons know who Jesus is. And the demons are SUBJECT TO THE POWER OF OUR GOD. OH, I love this today somebody that when they saw Jesus afar off, they ran and worshipped him. Even the demons have to bow down to Jesus. Power in the name of Jesus. Let me tell you something somebody, I don't care what you are facing in life right now. There is nothing too hard for our God. God can restore your mind. God can give you intelligence beyond belief. God can save your soul. There is nothing too hard for our God. Oh, every single day of our lives, when we wake up in the morning, we ought to run to Jesus every single day. Every day we ought to run. Uh, you know why? Because the Bible says in James 4 and verse 7, the Bible says, "Submit yourselves then to God. Resist the devil and he will do what? And he will flee from you." Every single day you have to die to yourself. Every day you must say, "God, empty me of myself and fill me with the Holy Ghost. Fill me with the Holy Ghost. Fill me with the Holy Ghost. Help me to be more than a conqueror through the name of Jesus." Young people, I want you to hear me right now and everybody today, we have more power than we really understand. See, we have a secret weapon. And our secret weapon is not guns and knives. Our secret weapon is not just some some some kind of stash of power, but our secret weapon is the Holy Ghost. When God comes in, the devil must walk out. But we have to guard the avenues of our minds and of our hearts. The Bible says this, "And he cried with a loud voice and said, 'What have I to do with thee, Jesus, the son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God that thou torment me not.'" Now, understand this, church. This is not the man speaking. This is the demons that are speaking through the man. And the demons say to the The demons say to Jesus, they call him the son of the most high God. Because even the demons know that Jesus is the Messiah. THEY MUST BOW before him. And they say, "Please, God. Please, have you come to torment me before time?" Because they know that their time is going to come to an end one day. And the Bible says in verse 8, "And he said unto them," the demons, he says to them, he says, "Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit." And verse 9 says, "And then he asked them." Don't miss this. He says, "What is your name?" Now, names have power. Huh? Alten- Alteniro? Did I say it correctly? Born in night, help me out. Born in the night. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it. Yeah, yeah, born in night, right? Names have power. When you name somebody, you give them power. Well, in this text right here, Jesus says, "What is your name?" And he answered and said, "My name is legion, for we are many." Again, this is the enemy speaking right now. Let me tell you right now. There's power in a name. Uh-huh. Don't ever let somebody call you a name that your mother did not call you. Sometimes we subject ourselves to a name CALLED DEPRESSION. WE SUBJECT ourselves to a name called less than. But, can I tell you that that is not who we are? We are the children of God. We have been bought with a price. We are the head and not the tail. We are above and not beneath. My name is victory. Matter of fact, turn to your neighbor and say, "Neighbor, my name is victory. My name is victory. My name is victory. I am who God wants me to be." Who is thy name? He says, "My name is legion, because we are many." In other words, legion is a Roman army. This man, you know the story, has been possessed by over 5,000 demons on the inside of his life. And I wish that the Bible would have told us how he allowed for all of these unclean spirits to enter on the inside of him. I WISH THE BIBLE HAD OF TOLD us that that maybe he was playing with Ouija boards. Maybe he had opened the door to some kind of unclean spirit. Maybe he was online and watching a site that was filled with uncleanliness. The Bible does not say, BUT THE BIBLE DOES TELL us that we need to guard the avenues of our eyes. Guard the avenues of your ears. Look at verse 10 now. And the demon besought him that he would not send them away out of the country. Verse 11, now there was unto nigh the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And the Bible says that with Jesus now with just one word. Jesus commands that the demons begin to leave. And the Bible says that the demons are evacuated, they are expelled, they are cast away from this man. Let me tell you right now, you need to understand that God has the power. Oh, I don't know if you hear me today. God can deliver anybody. I don't care how hard it is. Our God is a delivering kind of God. He loves to deliver his children. Now understand this, in our text today Jesus speaks a word and the demons must be subject to God's word. He speaks a word and they begin to flee. Now hear me right now. The Bible says this. Uh God, speak to us. That this man was completely out of his mind. Church, we are living in a pandemic of unstableness as relates to the human mind. I want to say it again, guys, that that there is a battle that is going on. Even Paul said it like this. Paul says, "The things that I don't want to do are the very things I find myself doing." And the very things that I tried to give up are the very things that I'm doing. There is a tug of war for the human soul. But I thank God that every single day of our lives that there are unseen forces. Church, we have God the Father, we have God the Son, we have God the Holy Ghost, and we have angels that are fighting on our behalf. We have angel armies that you cannot even see. I like this because I will never forget it. One time I was I was driving down the street with a with my kids in the back seat of my car. And as I was driving there, I could not see just a little bit in front of me. And I was getting ready to turn left, and there was a car that was speeding right at my direction. We were coming head-on for a head-on collision. And as I was sitting there, I braced myself, and I said, "Jesus!" And at that very moment, that car that was flying down the road, and my car that was going fast, we both slammed on our brakes, and our cars came this close together. We didn't hit one another. I pulled into the parking lot, and I know you may judge me, but I had a praise and Thanksgiving celebration in that parking lot. I begin to say, "God, thank you. Thank you. Thank you." My kids saw everything that was going on, and I thank God that even when the enemy tries to take us out, that God will send an angel to keep us in the nick of time. God is there for us. This man was struggling because he allowed for some kind of demonic spirits to come inside of us. Now, I I I want to pause cuz I don't want to I I speak fast and I get energetic and and and and passionate when I preach, but I want to hear me one more time. Hear me one more time. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. There is a war for your family. I believe that there are sometimes generational curses that exist amongst our families. There There are patterns of behavior that exist in our families. There are some families that have curses of of always having divorce. Curses of alcoholism. Curses of drug abuse. But my Bible tells me that our God is a chain-breaking God. He can break every curse. He can break every chain. He can guide and guard your mind that when the devil comes tries to come in, God will raise a standard up against the enemy. He will raise a standard against enemy. Jesus looks at that spirit, and Jesus now says, with all power in his hands, he says, "Come out of that man, thou unclean spirit." Oh, church, every last one of those demons were subject to the name of Jesus. They all came out and entered into the swine. And the Bible says that the swine now, THEY RUN VIOLENTLY down this cliff and they all choked themselves in the cliff and died. And now, all of a sudden, they want to know who is this Jesus. Who is this man that is messing up OUR ECONOMY? WHO IS this man who is causing havoc in the land? And they begin to pray that Jesus would leave. Oh, but the Bible tells us something interesting in verse 15. Bible says this, "And when they come to Jesus, they see him that was possessed with the devil and had the legion, he is sitting and clothed in his right mind, and they were afraid." Now, you missed something in the text because the Bible tells us earlier that he was naked, he was cutting himself, he was literally out of his mind. But when he met Jesus, Jesus changed his entire life. Church, I can tell you today with 10 toes down that when Jesus comes in, he will change your life. He'll give you power. He'll give you strength. He'll give you victory even over the sins that you've been battling. And can we be honest today? Every last one of us have been battling with something in our lives. All of us have something that God is convicting us of that we must break in the NAME OF JESUS. GOD has something that he's been telling us that listen, if you don't let go of it, it is going to control you and possess you. But hear me today, when Jesus comes in, he is able to take the taste out of your mouth. He's able to take the desires out of your soul and he will replace them with the power of his spirit. So the things that you used to like, you won't like them anymore because God has now replaced them with the power of his spirit. You'll become more loving and more graceful and more powerful. The Bible says that he was possessed with a devil, the legion, but now he's sitting there and he's clothed in his right mind. Now church, the Bible says that he has some clothes on. And the question I have for you today, look at that. He that was coming to Jesus, they saw him that was possessed with the devil and the legion, he was sitting clothed and clothed and in his right mind. Church, he was naked a few moments ago. Where did the clothes come from? Oh, you missed it today. He he he did not have clothes on at all, but when he met Jesus, the Bible says all of a sudden now, he was running naked, he was out of his mind, but now he has clothes. Can I tell you what I believe the clothes are? He was clothed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ. You see, whenever you come to God, our righteousness is as filthy rags. The Bible says there is none righteous, no, not one. But when we come to Jesus, he takes his perfect righteousness and he puts it on our filthiness and then God accounts US AS RIGHTEOUS. OH, WHAT A MARVELOUS God that is. He says that you can be righteous because I will clothe you with my white robe of righteousness. He's clothed and sitting in his right mind. And the Bible says, "And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil, he prayed that he might be with him." You know why he did that? Because whenever Jesus changes your life, the natural proclivity is that you want to be with Jesus. My junior year of high school, I met Jesus for myself. I was born in the church. I said it before, I was an Adventurer, Pathfinder, AY. I was just like these little little ones right here. I was the perfect little church kid, but I did not know Jesus for myself. I knew the hymns. I knew the aim, the motto, and the pledge. I could keep a level eye. I could be courteous and obedient. I could walk softly in the sanctuary. I KNEW ALL THE RIGHT STUFF, BUT I DID NOT KNOW Jesus for myself. But when I began to know Jesus, I began to know the power of his love, the power of his grace. And from those days from my when I met Jesus, my junior year of high school, from that day to today, my life has never been the same. I've got joy, unspeakable joy. I live for God. I want to serve God. And the Bible says that this man, he prays and says, "Jesus, can I walk with you now? Can I be with you?" And the Bible says that Jesus says, "How be it? No, no, no." He says, "Suffer him not." But he says to him, he says, "Go home to your friends and tell them how great things the Lord has done for you and has had compassion on you." And verse 20, the Bible says, "And he departed." Hear me, y'all. "And he began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him, and all men did marvel." You see, church, when you have been touched by Jesus, you want to go and tell everybody else. When you've been touched by Jesus, you can't help but share the gospel with somebody else. What God wants from us is a personal, intimate relationship with himself. Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to me, and I will answer you. And I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know." What has God done for us? Revelation 1:5, he has washed us, he's a loved us, washed us from our sins, he's cleansed us from all unrighteousness. He has made us kings and priests. That's why my name is not just Dr. Lee, but it's Prince Lee. Come on, somebody Prince Lee. Amen. I'm a king. You are queen in the eyes of God. And Philippians 2:9-11 says, "Wherefore God has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name. I'm sorry that the name of Jesus every knee shall bow of things in heaven and in things on the earth and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father." Our last text says, "Therefore if anyone be in Christ he is a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things become brand new." Who says amen today? We can have victory in Jesus. I want to share one last story with you today. Victory in Jesus. I don't know if you could play very, very softly right now. Just uh see very, very softly. I want to share with you young people and everybody a story that happened to me. Real soft very soft. There was Hear me. Please hear me. My first year of university I had a roommate whom the enemy was doing everything he could to destroy him. My roommate at the time was living a life that was outside of the will of God. I'm living with him every single day in the dorm. And oftentimes he would not come in because [music] he was really he I was a freshman, he was a junior. He was living with his girlfriend. He was living outside of the will of God. Church, I'll never forget [music] it. One night I was in my bed. And when I was there inside of the bed he came into the room. God help us. He walked into the room and he got inside of his bed. I wasn't asleep. And he asked me, he says, "William, are you asleep?" I said, "No." He says, "I have a question for you." He said, "William, should I break it off with my girlfriend? You know what I'm doing. Should I Should I start living right? SHOULD SHOULD I GIVE MY LIFE TO GOD? WILLIAM, I KNOW." Real soft and and and I said to him, "Listen, man. You need to get right with God." And the moment I said get right with God, I felt two hands around my neck. I'm lying in my bed on one side of the room. He's lying in his bed on the other side of the room. And the moment I said, "Come on now, get right with God." I felt the room go cold. Two hands are around my neck. I'm choking right now because the devil is trying to take me out because my roommate is being wrestled by the enemy. And when I'm lying there, I'm saying, And my roommate says, [music] "Quit playing, William. Quit playing. What do you think? SHOULD I BREAK IT OFF?" AND I'M SAYING, >> [screaming] >> "UH!" BUT LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT GOD. When you grow up in THE CHURCH AND KNOW GOD FOR YOURSELF, GOD WILL BRING BACK TO REMEMBRANCE THE POWER OF HIS SPIRIT. AND WHEN I'M LYING THERE ON MY BED feeling hands over my neck and the enemy's trying to take me out, the thought COMES MY MIND, "YOU better call on the name of Jesus." And when I lay there on that bed, I said, "IN THE NAME OF JESUS." AND WHEN I CALLED UPON THAT HAND on the name of Jesus, those hands released themselves from me. The room came back warm and I told my roommate THAT THE DEVIL IS AFTER YOU AND THE DEVIL WANTS TO KILL YOU BECAUSE HE TRIED TO KILL ME, BUT GOD GAVE ME POWER TO BE ABLE TO CALL UPON HIS NAME because there's victory in Jesus. We have nothing to fear for the future unless FORGET HOW GOD HAS LED us in the past. God wants to give us his spirit. If you hear nothing else I say, understand this. You better learn how to call on the name of Jesus. The name of the Lord is a strong tower and the righteous can run to it and are safe. Who believes God's word today? You believe there's power in the name of Jesus? Come on, you believe there's power in the name of Jesus? I want you to do one thing for me right now. Just call this name. Say Jesus. Say say Jesus. Come on, say Jesus. Son of the living God. Lord, save me right now. No, no, save me right now. Give me power over the enemy. And may I live for you. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. God bless you today. God bless you. God bless you. As the singers come, there may be someone today that simply wants to say yes to Jesus. You may need special prayer. You may simply want to say, I want to surrender my life. In the 60 seconds that we have, just just simply ask God right now. That's you. Won't you wave just raise your hand right now. Just wave your hand. You don't have to come. God bless you. I see you right there. God bless you. Look at the children there. God bless you, children. Is there someone else today that wants to say, Lord, I'm coming back home? I want you as my Lord and savior. Oh, I see you, my children. I see you, young people. I see you. God bless you. Let me pray one more time for you. Father, Lord, God, see every hand. And Lord, [music] save every single last one of us. Thank you, God, for your word today. May we live in power. May we live in strength. And may the enemy [music] have no authority in our lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.
