7 High-Paying Online Jobs You Can Do At Night

So today we're going to be talking about seven high-paying online jobs that you can do at night. And by the end of this video, I promise at least one of them fits the hours that you actually have. Now, some of these are going to pay over $100,000 a year. Some pay less but start faster. And some you could begin tonight on the laptop that's already probably in front of you. And by the way, this is coming from someone who spent years and a small fortune landing a six-figure career, went $300,000 in student loan debt to get it, and then hated it enough to walk away from it, and then spent the last decade studying which careers actually pay. my business partners and I have helped over a thousand documented cases, documented testimonials from people who landed these jobs. So, when I tell you that these pay, I am not guessing. I have data. I have experience. I've been in the trenches helping people get these jobs. And the pattern that I see over and over again from people who pull this off is they don't chase whatever is trending. They chase the hours that nobody else wants. The time zone gaps, the shortages, the work that piles up overnight, the stuff that other people don't want to do because that's where you have the leverage instead of the employer. Right? What they pay, how to get in, and how to do it fast. And I have the receipts, right? These are average estimates, not guarantees. and your actual salary can vary depending on your experience, location, or the company that you work for, as well as many other factors. Okay, the first one we're going to talk about is going to be remote patient monitoring. Now, patient monitoring means tracking patients vitals, watching for changes in someone's health, or setting up the medical tech that does it. And the entry- level titles are patient safety monitors, some places call them sitters, and remote patient monitoring medical assistants, and technical consultants for the equipment companies. Now, you might be thinking, Shane, this sounds too good to be true. There's no way you can work remotely as a health care professional. Well, I knew you'd say that, and that's why I want to show you this video. Robin is a remote patient monitor, and she sat down on her own YouTube channel and walked through exactly what the job is. Remote patient monitoring can be done from basically at least with the company that I work for. You can basically work from anywhere in the United States. >> Or you might be thinking, "Oh, they're not hiring right now." Well, jubila.org posted a patient monitoring job and it says remote work. And they're not the only one. So, think of this job almost like being an air traffic controller for somebody's health. You're not flying the plane. In fact, you never touch the plane. What you do is you sit in a dark room and you watch a screen full of blips and your entire job is to catch that one blip that goes wrong before anybody else does. And the blips don't stop at 5:00 p.m. Now, the entry-le positions here make about $39 to $53,000 a year according to Glass Door. And this is a really good way to get your foot in the door in the medical industry. And there are higherp paying jobs down the line. So, it's pretty simple here, right? Somebody has to watch the screen while the world sleeps. and hospitals will pay a premium to the person willing to be able to do it. So, here's how to start. Search remote patient monitoring and patient safety monitor on Zip Recruiter and Jubel.org and then filter to remote. Most entry positions will only require a high school diploma and maybe a pulse. No degree required, of course. And if you want to understand the industry before you apply, so you sound like you know what you're talking about in the interview, watch a step-by-step walkthrough of how these programs actually get built. All right, next one is going to be an email marketer. And there's actually so many different types of email marketers out there. But basically what you're going to do is you're going to plan, write, and run a business's email campaigns. And you're basically the person who decides what lands in the inbox when and what it says. Now, it's been very well documented that email is one of the highest ROI things that you can do as a business. So for every $1 you spend on email, you typically get $40 in return. There's a channel called Modern Millie, and she's basically an email marketing specialist, and she put out a video saying that she made $5,000 in just eight days from her email list. >> Then how come I made $5,000 in 8 days from having an email list, >> but maybe that's just her promoting her own video. Well, there's another woman from San Diego named Terry Cone who says her emails have earned over $6 million and she makes six figures a year doing it. And there's another video right here from Peak Frameworks saying that cold emailing is the best skill to get a job. And you can also get a job cold emailing people. So, it's the best skill to get a job just being able to cold email people and ask for the job. But you can also get paid to cold email as well. And cold emailing is basically when you don't have the person's contact information and you just message them out of the blue. I think that the most important skill if you don't have a job is cold emailing. >> And there's really highpaying jobs here. So, email marketing managers, for instance, make about 80 to $133,000 a year. But honestly, there's a ton of different types of jobs out there that all revolve around email marketing. Now, another thing I'll say about email marketing is a lot of the time emails are going to be sent out at weird times. Sometimes, for instance, you'll have people who are customers in other countries, maybe Europe for instance, where your emails are going to have to get sent out in the middle of the night in the United States. And to be honest with you, a lot of the times things go wrong with emails. And so, they're going to need somebody who stays up in the middle of the night to make sure that those things get sent correctly. Additionally, sometimes even if it's for the United States, a lot of the time these platforms will drip emails out very slowly because they don't want to send all the emails all at once. This is all very complicated stuff. There's a lot of technology. There's a lot of regulations. There's a lot of data science behind it, but they've basically figured this out. But the point is, a lot of the time these emails will get sent at weird times and in many cases they're going to need somebody who actually can monitor it. And honestly, there's a lot when it comes to emails. I of course have hundreds of thousands of email followers, but I could still probably be utilizing my email list better cuz there is a lot to learn here. And that is why they hire specialists who just do this one thing for a living. So here's how to start. Learn one platform, right? So Clavio is the best for e-commerce just as an example. And there is a lot of money in e-commerce. That's basically selling physical products. ConvertKit or Beehive is pretty good for creators. Active Campaign is another really big one that a lot of them use. And they're all free to start. then you might want to learn cold email because that might be a really good way to get clients or to get your first job in the first place. And I do think that cold email is a good way to get started in this particular case, especially if you're doing it without any previous experience. So, you're basically demonstrating how good you are by cold emailing people and that's going to help you get the job. Now, when it comes to marketing stuff, I'll be honest with you guys, a lot of the time you just want to learn the skill and then demonstrate your skills. Nobody in the marketing world really cares about your college degree or any stuff like that. All they care about is your skills and how good you are. So, you got to learn the skill and then demonstrate it. And one really good way to do that is to just simply do it for free for one of your friends or family members and then document the results of you doing it for free and use that in your portfolio and then send that out when you're trying to get a job. All right. Next is going to be an expert network consultant. So, expert networks like GG connect hedge funds, private equity firms, and consultancies with people who actually work in an industry and are experts in that industry. So, you get on a call for an hour and you answer questions about the job that you already do. And there are over 1.2 million subject matter experts out there that pull $70,000 a year just connecting their clients to consultants like you. Now, picture a translator at a summit. You don't make the policy. You don't sign anything. You just happen to be the only person in the room who speaks the language and everyone else needs to understand what's being said. And that's what your day job knowledge in many cases can be worth to a fund manager who's never set foot in your industry. And GLG has an entire channel dedicated to this. Now, you might be thinking, "Nobody's going to pay a full-time income for a phone call." Well, there's actually a video breaking down the GLG review and how highp paying these 1-hour projects actually are. >> And I'm excited to share our review of Gerson Lurman Group, or GLG as I'll refer to them in this video. >> And Alli Gong actually made a whole video on the pros and cons of working with Alpha Sites, which is another company that hires expert network consultants. >> I'm going to be going over all the pros and cons I experienced while working at Alphasite. >> And how much do expert consultants make? Well, they make about 96 to $177,000 a year if they do it full-time. So, if you're someone who spent a lot of time in an industry, you can get paid pretty good money just to answer questions about it. So, the rule here is is that they're hiring you for what you already know, right? You're not learning a skill. You're renting out the one that you got paid to learn on someone else's clock. And here's how to start. Go to GLG, Alpha Insights, Guidepoint, and the Third Bridge, and sign up as an expert. Put your real industry and years of experience on LinkedIn because that is where recruiters actually find you. And global clients mean the calls landed your evening, which is the entire point. Now, if you're really good at something in particular, but you don't want to work for a company or for somebody else, there's actually another version of this. What you can do is you can make videos about the thing that you already know, the thing that you're already good at. Now, that could be your job, your hobby, or something that you've just figured out that took way too long to figure out. For instance, I have countless different examples of people on the channel that literally made a full-time income, sometimes not just a living, but a killing, just educating other people about their career. Whether it's telling them which certifications to get or which degrees to get to get into their career or how to pass different standardized tests or different certification tests or just educating them about what the career is like in the first place and if they should go into it or helping them do the job itself or helping them land the job or helping them upskill when they're already in a job or helping people who already have a job land a better paying job, etc., etc. For instance, Josh Mator went from making less than $1,000 a month all the way to making over $186,000 a month on his channel. And it doesn't have to be boring jobrelated stuff. For instance, Nathan Rose worked most of his career in corporate and then he semi-retired and he basically wanted to make a YouTube channel doing something that he loved doing, which is playing chess. He's a chess coach who specifically helps ambitious adults improve their chess rating. And he's a 2000 rated player teaching people how to do the thing that he already did. And in roughly three and a half months, Nathan went from completely flat, making absolutely no money from YouTube to over 5,000 subscribers and making a full-time income on YouTube. So, this is where you hunt for security holes in company's websites and apps through platforms like Hacker One or Bug Crowd. And you get paid per valid bug that you find. There's no employer, no interview, no resume. It's a pure meritocracy. You're only paid on your findings. Now, you might be thinking, "That's hacking. I need a computer science degree." Well, Santiago Lopez is a self-taught hacker from Argentina, and he earned his first $50 bounty at 16 years old. And then Hacker 1 put out a press release announcing that he became the first person to pass over $1 million in bounty rewards off of 1,600 plus reported flaws. And he did this between the ages of 16 and 19 years old, which is pretty nuts. >> Santi's the first hacker to make a million dollars on the world's biggest bug bounty platform, Hacker One. >> But you might be thinking, "Okay, but he's a prodigy. He's not a normal person." Okay, well, another hunter writing under the name Forcon wrote up how he passed six figures in his first year. and he opens by saying that he was just some random guy on the internet messing around with code. So, this basically works kind of like a locksmith who gets hired to break into your house. The company hands you the address and says, "Try every door, every window, and every latch that we might have forgotten about. And if you get in, we pay you. If you don't, we sleep better." So, nobody asks the locksmith where he went to school. They ask if the door opened. Now, I'll be straight with you because I'm not trying to sell you a fantasy. Hacker 1's own data shows that of the researchers who submit at least one report, roughly 40% never earn a single bounty. Now, what you can do instead is do what this channel did. It's a channel called Cyberflow. And all this person does is he just records himself doing bug bounty hunting. And he is making a ton of money doing that. And he also has a course that he's selling so that people can learn how to do bug bounty hunting themselves. With that being said, a bug bounty hunter makes about $85 to $132,000 a year. Now, there's a bunch of ways to get started with this. Honestly, Port Swigger Webb Security Academy as well as the OASP top 10 are both free and they are the standard path to get in. Then you can go watch the channel Cyberflow like I talked about before. He has a full guide on learning bug bounty hunting and a video on finding your first bounty. And he filmed his own first attempt going badly, which is the honest version that nobody shows you. So yeah, I like that channel. It seems pretty good and that could be a good place to get started. My first bug bounty experience was an absolute disaster. Okay, section five is AI data annotation. So, this is where you train AI models by rating chatbot responses, fact-checking them, and in the high-paying tier, reviewing code, and solving STEM problems so that the model can learn from you. And Move Works made a video explaining what an AI data annotation job really is. >> Behind every advanced AI is a team of human experts. Now, you might be thinking, "This is one of those scam apps that pays 40 cents a survey, and Time investigated it, and data annotations pays about $40 for coding tasks, and Outlier pays about $60 an hour for chemistry tasks versus about $20 an hour for basic labeling." But you might be thinking, "But fine. Nobody's showing me the actual money, though." Okay, fair enough. There's a guy who goes by Worm who sat down, worked an 8 hour shift on data annotation, and filmed the entire thing so that you can watch exactly what he earned. In this video, I'll be covering how it was and how much I earn. Now, here's the part that's absolutely insane. According to Glass Door, AI data annotators make 92 to $130,000 a year. Absolutely insane. So, yeah, this is a super hot career right now and you can make really good money with this. So, the way to get started here, data annotation.te, outlier, and aligner are all really good places. They're all free to apply to, all have a screening test, and you can be working within days. Now, if you do have any coding or STEM background at all, definitely say so loudly. That is the only thing that unlocks the top tier. And there's a couple named Mike and Heather that walk through their exact getting started tips. All right. Next is going to be a no code web designer. And this is where you build websites for businesses using drag and drop platforms. So, we're talking Show it, Squarespace, Web Flow, Framer, Wix, etc. No coding necessary. You are a designer, not a programmer. Now, if you want to do the technical side, you could use something like Lovable or even go highle for certain types of businesses. Now, you're probably thinking, "But you need a computer science degree for this, right?" Absolutely not. Becca Luna dropped out of high school at 16 and in her own words, she went from a waitress making about $11 an hour to a sevenf figureure creative designer in less than 5 years with no coding skills and no design degree. Okay, but she's the exception, right? Well, she interviewed one of her own students, Shereice, who made $11,000 in a single month from web design while still working a 9 to5. So, definitely not. She is not the exception. >> But I hit 11.5, which was like, >> "Okay, Shane, how do I learn web design without coding experience?" Well, there's a 3-hour course on YouTube from Flux Academy on learning how to do web design for beginners, and it's pretty good. It's a great place to get started. >> In this course, you'll learn everything you need to create beautiful, fully functional websites from start to finish. So, it's relatively easy to start making money doing this. And it's relatively easy to learn the skills and get better at it. And building a site used to mean you're basically pouring concrete right. You had to know the chemistry. You had to get the mix right. And you had to build the entire building from the ground floor. And if you got it wrong, the whole thing cracked. Now, it's like a Lego site. The pieces are already made. And your job is knowing which ones go where and what it should look like when it's done. So, the business is paying you cannot tell the difference. They just want the building done. So, here's how to start. Pick one platform and go deep. Show it for creatives, Web Flow or Framer for tech, Squarespace for local businesses, and then build three fake sites for imaginary businesses in one niche. Or you can just build these for your family members or your friends who already have businesses. And that is going to be your portfolio, and nobody will ever ask if the clients were real. Then go learn how to actually sell them because that is the part that pays. And this brings me to the next section, which is YouTube related careers. And there's a lot of them out there, but I'm going to focus on a YouTube thumbnail designer. So, this is where you design the clickable cover images for YouTube videos, also known as a thumbnail. And you can do it per thumbnail or on a monthly retainer for creators who upload constantly. And David Alitzer still pulls in over $100,000 a year creating thumbnails. And he charges 500 plus per thumbnail for creators including Curtis Connor and Max Foch. And there is a psychology behind every single one. So, what works for a gaming channel will get you buried on an education channel. And even if you do get a lot of views with certain types of channels, that doesn't necessarily you're going to get people that actually buy your stuff because at the end of the day, you want to get people who actually buy stuff, not just people who view your videos. So, this is a thumbnail that Nurse Jen used to get 717,000 views in one month. Very simple. This is one of my community members, of course. Here's another community member, R.J., and this is the thumbnail that he used to get 1.4 million views. And then here's the thumbnail that my brother Zach used on his very first video that got over 800,000 views. And within 29 days, Zach got monetized and made $214 in a single day. And that's a $78,000 year run rate. And to end his first year on YouTube, he made $18,000 in a single month. So your thumbnail is the first thing that people see before the title, before the hook, and before anything. And it's really the window display on a street where 500 other stores are screaming at the same person. And you've got about a quarter second. If the window doesn't stop them, nothing inside of the store matters. So it doesn't really matter how good your video is.
