Video summary

Dealing with a narcissist requires a complete reversal of standard relationship advice, where honesty is typically valued; instead, telling the truth to such individuals is akin to handing them a loaded gun pointed at oneself. Narcissists do not seek genuine connection but rather aim to inspect your vulnerabilities and weaknesses to determine exactly how to manipulate or strike against you later. By sharing your real feelings, past traumas, or financial struggles, you inadvertently provide them with an instruction manual on how to control you. To survive these emotional predators, one must strategically feed their system corrupted information, effectively blinding them to your true self and preventing them from finding old wounds to exploit. The video outlines five specific lies that serve as a defensive shield to protect your happiness and sanity. First, you should claim that your past relationships ended due to incompatibility rather than abuse or betrayal, denying the narcissist any blueprint on how to hurt you in the future. Second, you must fabricate a tight-knit circle of family and friends who check on you daily, creating an illusion of constant surveillance that discourages the narcissist from isolating you. Third, pretend to have no financial resources or assets, as narcissists often view partners as sources of wealth and will manufacture crises to drain your money if they believe you are vulnerable. Finally, two more critical lies involve your emotional reactions and boundaries. You should tell them that you do not tolerate mind games and that your mind simply shuts down like a machine when faced with drama or confusion, depriving them of the emotional reaction they crave. The fifth lie is to assert that you will instantly detach and walk away without regret the moment you are disrespected, making the narcissist believe they cannot push your boundaries further. By adopting this bored, uninterested persona and hiding your real thoughts, history, and assets behind this strategic shield, you stop giving information that can be used as a weapon against you. Ultimately, lying to a narcissist is not about being mean or fake, but a necessary tactic to regain your freedom and keep your emotional energy safe from those who would use it to harm you.

Normally, telling the truth would save a relationship with someone you care for. But when you're dealing with a narcissist, things are always the opposite. So, telling a lie will keep you from getting completely destroyed. Because when you tell a narcissist the truth, it's like giving someone a loaded gun and pointing it at yourself. Normal people use honesty to get closer to you and understand you. Narcissists use your honesty to track your weaknesses and vulnerabilities. They don't want a partner. They want to inspect your assets so they know exactly where to strike later. If you give them your real feelings, you're just showing them where you're weak and that's where they strike. So to survive these emotional predators, you must feed their system bad data. Think of them like a computer virus. If you feed their software corrupted information, they lose the ability to manipulate you because then they cannot see your real self. Which is why I recommend lying to a narcissist strategically. Here are five lies you must tell a narcissist if you want to save your happiness. The first one is to tell the narcissist your exes were good people and you broke up because you weren't compatible. Because normally when you meet someone new, your natural instinct is to share your past. You want to explain why you're hurt or why you may appear stressed or anxious. You want people to understand. So, if you tell a narcissist that your last partner cheated on you, lied to you, or stole from you, you may think you're being honest and transparent. But you're actually unconsciously handing them an instruction manual on how to manipulate you and what they're going to be able to get away with. Because they assume that if this has happened to you before and you're the one who was hurt and you didn't fight back, then to them you're an easy target. They take notes on everything that hurt you before. for whenever they want to punish or control you later on. They use those exact same moves because they already know what works. They know your triggers because you unconsciously gave them the blueprint. So to stop this from happening, you have to change the narrative. Look at them with a blank uninterested face as though you're not really worried or concerned about anything and tell them your exes were good people. Nothing went wrong. The breakups happen simply because you were not compatible. Do not give them any extra information. Do not cry. Do not shed your wounds. Do not be vulnerable. and instead just act like you're reading a boring weather report. Because by doing this, you will corrupt that that you will corrupt their system and they won't be able to find an old wound to scratch. There won't be anything for them to sink their claws and teeth into. Number two, you have a tight-knit circle of family and friends who check on you daily. This may not be true, but it is a lie that can protect you from the narcissist. Because a predator never attacks a deer when it is in the middle of the herds. They wait until the deer wanders off into the woods. They wait until the deer is completely alone. A narcissist operate the exact same way. Their main goal in the relationship is to gradually cut your lines of communication with the outside world. They isolate you. They clip your social wings so that you cannot fly away when things get bad. If you tell the narcissist you're lonely or that you don't talk to your family anymore, you're flashing a giant green light. You're telling them that no one is watching you. You're telling them that it's okay to gaslight you, scream at you, and warp your reality because then they will know that no one is going to step in to give you a reality check. So, you must construct a fake security fence around yourself. Tell them that you do have a tight-knit circle of family and friends. Tell them that people check on you every day. Act like your people are a high-tech security camera system. Let them believe that your family always knows your exact mood and state of mind. Tell them your friends can spot a change in your energy within 5 seconds, but deliver the statement in a calm, uninterested tone, like you're just reading a shopping list. Three, tell them you're broke and you have no financial resources or assets. Narcissists are natural parasites. They have to feed off people in order to survive. So they look at your life and see a free grocery store. They don't want your heart. They want your bank accounts, your car, your home, your lifestyle. So if you are open and honest about your finances, you are leaving the bank vault wide open for them to walk in. All of a sudden they will start manufacturing these crisises or emergencies. Their car will break down out of nowhere. They will unexpectedly lose their job. They will find a magical business idea that needs your investment. And if you hesitate to give them your money, they will twist it around on you. They will call you selfish and unsupportive. So tell them you're broke. Tell them you have no financial resources or assets and watch them not want to bother with you anymore. But if they do become aware that you're receiving money, tell them the money goes to old family obligations, strict long-term investments, or HIMP debts. Act like you're living paycheck to paycheck with zero money to spare. Four, tell them you do not tolerate mind games and completely shut down at the first sign of drama. Narcissists love getting you to jump through hoops or getting you to do the mental gymnastics. They will throw everything at you at once just to make you dizzy. They will bring up tiny mistakes you made years ago just to confuse you during a simple argument. because they want to destabilize you. They want you unsure. They want you lacking confidence in yourself and in a state of desperation where you're constantly trying to cling to something, anything, or trying to defend your character while they sit back and watch because your emotional pain and confusion is their narcissistic supply. It makes them feel powerful and in control. So, if you show them that their drama gives you anxiety or keeps you awake at night, it's not going to stop and they're not going to get better because all you're doing is confirming that their weapons work perfectly. You're giving them confirmation to continue with their agenda. Which is why you must calmly state that you do not tolerate drama or mind games rather than framing it as an angry moral rule. Tell them your brain is wired like a machine. The exact moment a conversation becomes confusing, manipulative or toxic. Your mind instantly turns off. You become bored rather than overly interested or enthusiastic. Tell them you do not get mad or get sad about it. You just get very sleepy and stop paying attention. And when they realize that their favorite psychological circus produces absolute silence instead of a big emotional reaction, they will stop wasting their energy trying to scramble your mind. Five, tell them you will detach instantly. and walk away for goods the moment someone disrespects you. The narcissist is like a person testing an electric fence or taunting and teasing a wild animal to see how much they can get away with. So they will push a little bit here and there just to see how far they can get, but they almost always start with small insults or boundary violations because they want to see how much mistreatment you will tolerate before you finally snap. And eventually they have it all mapped out. They already know what they can say or what they can do without you calling them out in it or walking away from them. and they gradually normalize this behavior to you. They stretch your boundaries so that what may have seemed extreme before now seems relatively normal to you. But it's actually only normal in this alternate reality, they have constructed for you. That's how when predators like this are finally exposed, like in the Epstein or PD cases, the public are shocked. They wonder how it could have gone this far. But it's because narcissists push and stretch their victim's boundaries gradually. They teach you to tolerate and accept these things over a long period of time. It's like the boiling frog syndrome. The frog doesn't notice when the heat is turned up gradually until eventually the frog is boiled alive. Even though it could have jumped out of the pot a long time ago. This is psychological manipulation. You often don't even know when you're in it. You don't realize how bad it is. You don't even fully understand that it is wrong. If you did, it wouldn't be effective and they wouldn't use this tactic. But it is actually one of the most common tactics narcissists use because it is very effective. It's how victims appear to give them a lifelong license to treat them like dudes. It's why victims appear to stick around no matter what, no matter how poorly they behave. Because you're telling them that no matter how poorly they behave, your natural instinct will be to try harder to please them. So you must make them believe that you have the power to detach instantly and walk away. The moment someone shows you disrespect, explain that you do not hold grudges, you do not hold tantrums, you do not negotiate. Your feelings simply vanish into thin air and you walk away without any regrets. Because when the narcissist believes that you can discard them and walk away without any emotional pain, they will become extremely cautious because they will realize that their usual manipulation tactics will not pull you in deeper. They will simply make you disappear. So trying to be honest with a narcissist is really just a form of psychological self harm. Lying to them is not about being mean. It's not about being like them. It's not about being fake or manipulative. It is a strategic defensive shield which is designed to save your sanity, protect your money, and keep your emotional energy out of their reach. And when you stop giving your information to people who only want to use it as a weapon against you, you gain back your freedom. So never engage directly with a narcissist. Keep your real thoughts, your real history, and your real assets hidden safely behind this defensive shield and let the bored uninterested persona handle everything else.
