Video summary

These are five jobs that are desperate
to hire people over 50. And I promised
at least one of them is going to be a
good fit for you. Now, one of them pays
over $200,000 a year. One of them
dropped its requirements to a high
school diploma in a 20our online course
because they got that desperate. And one
of them is literally getting paid to
play a game. Now, if you don't know who
I am, I'm the guy who went $300,000 in
student loan debt for a doctorate before
figuring out how hiring actually works.
So, I built the career channel that I
wish that I had when I was younger. And
now over a thousand people in my
community have gotten verified results
from it. Here's what most people over 50
get wrong. They apply down. Greeter
jobs, gate jobs, anything that'll take.
But the smarter move is aiming at the
industries that are aging out. Because
when the workforce retires faster than
it gets replaced, nobody's screening you
for your birth year. They're begging you
to show up. So whether you're laid off
at 55, tired and bored out of your mind,
your body is tired of your old job, you
got a pension that doesn't stretch,
there's going to be a good option for
you on this list. Now, every claim has a
name sourced on the screen. We're going
to be showing real government data and
industry reports. And I'm going to be
showing you real people that have done
these. And the one that I would
personally pick if this was me is going
to be hiding in there. If you appreciate
me making this type of content, you want
to see me make more of it in the future,
then let me know by gently cheersing
that like button. And let's go ahead and
jump into it right now. Let's talk about
becoming a home inspector. Now, before
somebody buys a house, this is the
person who walks through it and writes
up everything that's wrong. The roof,
the wiring, the plumbing, the
foundation, and this industry told on
itself. Now, the American Society of
Home Inspectors published this in their
own magazine. The average home inspector
is in his mid-50s, and about 80% are
over 40, and fewer than 5% are under 30.
But you might be thinking, "Okay, Shane,
but my knees aren't 25 anymore." Okay,
then watch the job before you judge it.
The industry certifying body filmed a
veteran inspector working a real house
start to finish. The attic, the crawl
space, the panel, the roof, and it got
around 880,000 views. And watch how he
moves. This is a walkandright job, not a
demolition job. But you might be
thinking, "All right, Shane, but how do
I learn how to do this?" Well, a veteran
Minneapolis inspector made an entire
video on how people actually get into
this because he gets that many calls and
emails asking. But you also might be
thinking, "Okay, Shane, well, what's the
catch? Nothing pays six figures and
takes anybody." Fair. And yes,
inspectors face constant risk and they
can be held legally responsible if they
miss a defect or if something is damaged
or goes missing during an inspection,
right? So, it's not all butterflies and
rainbows, right? Just like any other job
in the world, there's the upsides and
there's the downsides. But here's the
thing about walking through houses all
day that can be made into content. And
one of our community members is Welen
Hobbs, and his whole channel is about
downsizing, helping people over 50
figure out the house before the house
figures them out. And he started with us
just a few months ago, and he now has
three videos that have gotten over a
100,000 views. And he did this by
talking about stuff that is common sense
to him because he'd spent a long time in
the industry. So you're already in the
attic, already in the crawl space,
already photographing everything wrong
with the place. You can turn the camera
on and the same walkthrough can pay
twice. Or you can use your knowledge to
start a channel and teach other people
stuff that's common sense to you but
makes a big difference to them. With
that being said, you're probably
wondering how much do home inspectors
make? Well, they make about $81 to
$140,000 a year on average. And that is
according to Glass Door. Now, you might
be thinking, "Well, Shane, this job's
great. Don't get me wrong, and I could
see myself getting into it, but it
sounds really boring. Is there anything
that I could do that's maybe not so
boring? maybe something that's passion
related or hobbyreated and actually make
money from it. Well, let's talk about
the next one on the list which is pickle
ball instructor. Now, these are the
people that are teaching pickle ball
private lessons and group clinics at
courts and clubs. And full disclosure,
I'm very into pickle ball right now. I'm
actually going to go play in about 45
minutes or so right after I get done
recording this video. And I've been
playing almost every single day since
the beginning of the year. So, yes, this
is my personal pick, but look at who's
actually playing. entrepreneur reported
that among people who play eight or more
times a year, more than half are 55 or
older. So, pickle ball is a game that's
played a lot by people over 50. But
let's talk about the supply side. The
industry association counts 24.3 million
American players. And the biggest
coaching certification body has about
15,000 certified pros. And that is
roughly one coach for every 1,600
players. So, if you've tried to get a
really good pickle ball coach, it can be
exceptionally hard to find one. And when
supply and demand is on your side, well,
you can charge more, make more money,
and pretty much everything is going to
work out. But you might be thinking,
"Okay, Shane, but I'm 55. I can't keep
up with these kids on the court." Well,
Shane, I don't even play pickle ball.
I'm just giving pickle ball as an
example. But there's other things you
could do if you're really good. More on
that here in a minute. And when it comes
to not being able to keep up with kids
on the court, well, you're not supposed
to. You outsmart them. When you're over
50, you stop playing their game and you
drop the ball just barely over the net
where they can never load up and smash
it back at you. It's a chess match, not
a foot race. And there's even a video
showing how to beat younger pickle ball
players without hitting hard. And
there's a coach on YouTube teaching
seniors exactly that. It's Tony Roy and
he specifically teaches 50 plus age
players how to become better at pickle
ball. Right? So there's certain ways of
playing pickle ball that are kind of
less physical and more mental that are
very effective and they can lead to you
beating younger players. And his video
one shot to rule them all for senior
players from a 50 plus pickle ball coach
got 222,000 views. But you might be
thinking, "All right, Shane, but who's
actually going to pay a 55-year-old for
lessons?" Well, Tony has a coaching
session and people are signing up for it
left and right and he's probably getting
a bunch of that traffic from his YouTube
channel. So, that title is the business.
What you're selling isn't your legs.
It's the strategy that young guys
haven't figured out yet. But you might
be thinking, "Okay, Shane, but isn't
pickle ball just a fad? I don't want to
train for something that dies." Well,
the answer to this is concrete. There's
going to be about $855 million in court
construction needed over the next 5 to 7
years. And nobody's going to pour $855
million of concrete for a fact. And we
also have a community member who's
really passionate about raet sports like
tennis. And her name is Martha. And
she's an online tennis coach. And her
problem was never views. She had the
views. Her problem was that she was
selling nothing and selling it badly.
For instance, little one-off stroke
analysis videos per pocket change. So we
flipped it. And instead of selling a $50
video review, she built a 90-day
coaching program and put a discovery
call in front of it. the same channel,
same tennis, same face. She closed her
first high ticket online client and she
picked up two brand deals along the way.
A ball machine company and a racket
brand because brands don't care how big
you are. They care whether the right
people are watching. And that is the
part that nobody tells you. And the
channel isn't the business. The channel
is the thing that fills the business.
Now, you might be thinking that pickle
ball really can't be that much money,
right? Well, check this out. If you look
on glass door, it says that pickle ball
coaches on average make about $140 to
$253,000
a year. And it makes a lot of sense
because the 50 and above age demographic
owns 70 to 80% of all the wealth in the
US. And if you're mostly coaching people
that are 50 and above or even a
significant amount of the people that
you're coaching are 50 and above,
they're going to have the money to pay
you properly as a coach. And right now,
there is a supply and demand imbalance.
It actually took me a long time to find
my own coach. And like I said before,
it's not just pickle ball. It's tennis
like our community member Martha here.
And it's not just racket sports or just
sports in general. You could also teach
people how to play chess. That's exactly
what our community member Nathan does.
He's a chess coach and he made it from
zero to a full-time income as a chess
coach while he's semi-retired in a
matter of a few months. And also notice
that none of these people really needed
to have really big channels. And that's
because if you pick the right niche and
you're talking to the right audience and
you're making the right type of content,
you don't need to get that many views to
make that much money. And if you don't
believe me, just look at our client
Carla. Carla owns a recruiting agency
and she started posting on YouTube.
She's got about 1,500 subscribers and
her videos are lucky to get 100 or 200
views. And she lended $6,000 contract
from YouTube. And it's because she was
targeting the right type of people and
making the right type of content for
them. And so she didn't need to get a
lot of views to make a lot of money. And
this brings us into the next topic,
which is either working as a content
creator or working for a content
creator. So this is basically where you
film what you already know, your job,
your hobbies, your life, and you get
paid for the views that you are getting
on top of brand deals and anything that
you sell. And stay with me because I'm
going to argue this is the single best
job on this entire list if you're over
50 because of recent changes that
happened. So, let's start with money
because it explains everything. The
Federal Reserve data says that Americans
55 and older hold more than 70% of the
wealth in the country. And Mackenzie's
industry report puts it at 72% of
America's total wealth, sitting with
people at 55 or over. And only 3% of
over 50 say that they actually feel seen
by brands. So, advertisers are now
signing creators in their 70s just to
reach this audience. So, think about
what that actually means. The audience
with all the money is your age and
almost nobody is making content for
them. And this is why, in my opinion,
this is one of the best jobs and best
opportunities on this list. But you
might be thinking, "Okay, Shane, but
YouTube is for 22 year olds that are
dancing to Tik Tok and pranking people,
not somebody my age." Well, you might
have noticed a trend recently. Channel
after channel after channel from older
people that are blowing up left and
right. So, there's a channel, for
instance, called Retirement Survival.
It's an older guy. He started recently,
and he's standing outside of his house
just talking about life lessons and
retirement. And one of his videos got
over 2 million views. And that video
alone made him $3,000 just in ad
revenue. And it is a dead simple video
with zero edits where he literally just
talks out loud almost like he's talking
to a friend. All right, Shane, but
that's a fluke. And honestly, my videos
would look like garbage. Well, then just
look at M&J Metal. This guy blew up with
a video called How to Make Pickle Pepsi
at home for free. And it must have been
recorded with some ancient Nokia flip
phone or something like that. Like it
was recorded with an absolute potato.
And it didn't have a single frame of
editing. This is a 4 minute and
16-second video that probably took him 4
minutes and 16 seconds to make. And yet,
it got 10.3 million views. And according
to view stats, that single video made
around $51,000 in ad revenue just for
pouring pickle juice into a Pepsi. And
it's filmed worse than anything you
could ever upload. So, can we please
kill the excuse that your videos won't
look professional enough? Okay, Shane,
but those are strangers who got lucky. A
regular beginner my age couldn't
actually do this. Well, that's where
you're wrong as well because one of our
community members, Jen, I like to call
her nurse Jen. She's in her 60s and I
actually thought she was like 45 or
something cuz she looks so young. She
definitely needs to share her skincare
routine with me. But when she first
joined our program, she said I hadn't
dipped my toe into YouTube yet. So, she
was a complete beginner. But because she
followed everything that we told her,
she had success right away. And just a
few months later, she had videos popping
off. Two of them hit over 600,000 views
and another got 700,000 in just a few
weeks. And in her first month of being
monetized, she made $6,000 from AdSense.
And the next month, it was $8,000. And
just last month, she made over $10,000.
And that's just the money she's making
from AdSense. She also just closed a
deal where she's getting paid $800 per
video to sponsor a product. And she's
getting affiliate commissions on top of
that every single time someone buys. And
the best part is she was able to quit
her Tellahalth nursing job. And now
she's traveling around the country in
her camper van, which was her dream. And
she said it was all thanks to my system.
And by the way, I just realized when we
talked, she was actually recording her
videos in her camper van, which is
awesome. All right, Shane, but I already
tried YouTube and it didn't work. Well,
Jud's also in his 50s. He's been on
YouTube since 2017, and his channel was
dying. Views down, subscribers down, ad
revenue down. 90 days after joining our
program, his watch time was up almost
80%, his adsense had doubled, and over
half of his current top 10 videos came
out of our system. And then there's Guy.
Guy has tenitus, which is constant
ringing in the ears that never stops.
And all he wanted when he started was
just a little bit of retirement money,
just1 to2,000 extra dollars a month. and
that would significantly increase the
quality of his life in his retirement.
And with just 456 subscribers, not 500,
not a,000, just 456, he lended a $1,500
a month brand deal. And now he's making
a lot more than this. He has over 12,000
subscribers now. So he's crushing it
much harder than this. Pretty much right
away, he was able to reach his goal. But
you might be thinking, "Okay, Shane, I
might not succeed since I don't know how
to set up a camera." Well, that's almost
word for word what my brother Zach said
to me. He didn't know how to set up the
camera either. He'd never recorded a
single video in his life besides just
random videos on his phone. And before
his first year on YouTube was up, he did
$18,000 in a single month. So, let me
back up and tell you how we got here.
Zach's in his 50s, almost 30 years in
the trades, mostly working in HVAC, and
the work was taking a real toll on his
body. And on a family vacation, he
pulled me aside and asked me straight
up, "How do I keep making money without
breaking my body?" Now, he was expecting
me to say, "Online jobs, side hustles,
something like that." And I told him,
"Just start YouTube, bro." And he gave
me every excuse in the book. He's in his
50s. Nobody's going to listen to him.
YouTube is for kids and dancing and
doing pranks. And then the big one, the
camera. He was worried that he's not
techsavvy enough. And I told him, "Bro,
just trust me. Just follow every single
thing that I say and you will be fine."
And he did. And his very first video
blew up. Got 822,000 views in 29 days
after uploading that video. He got
monetized and made $214 in a single day.
That's a $78,000 year run rate. And to
end his first year on YouTube, my
brother just had an $18,000 month. So
the camera was never the problem. It was
just the thing that he was hiding
behind. And they're not special. They're
just using the same playbook that I'm
giving you today. And it doesn't have to
be your job either. It could be your
health journey or your hobbies or your
faith or your travel. I could go over
example after example after example.
Anything that you have a lot of years of
reps in and experience and it's probably
common sense to you is not common sense
to other people and you can get paid to
educate people about it. All right,
YouTube just got 10 times easier and
nobody is talking about it. You used to
need an entire film crew and it used to
be a full-time job for you to just do
any work at all on YouTube. But now you
can get work done in as little as 15 to
30 minutes a day and you can actually
grow a fulltime YouTube channel. That's
exactly what I'm going to be talking
about at the live training that we're
doing this week. Exactly how to grow
your YouTube channel. So click the link
in the description in the pin comment
below to check that out. Guys, I will be
answering questions before, during, and
after the live training. It's completely
free. Plus, I'll be giving away an AI
that is designed to help you pick your
niche if you don't have one in the first
place or if you already have a niche.
It's going to help you make it 10 times
better. So, really looking forward to
talking with you guys. This is stuff
that we've never talked about before.
So, click that link in the description
and comment below and I look forward to
seeing you there. Okay, next one is a
very boring one, but it's tried and
true, and that is a medical insurance
agent. So, you're going to basically
help people turning 65 pick their
Medicare plan, and we're talking
comparing options, explaining coverage,
enrolling them, etc., etc. Now, industry
analysis of the federal labor data shows
that 1.37 million insurance
professionals are 55 or older, nearly
one in four. And a Forbes piece written
by somebody inside the industry says it
flat out. The supply of adequately
trained agents does not match the
demand, leaving a significant gap in the
market. And seniors hate the outofstate
call centers. They want a real human
being, and preferably they'd like to
talk to somebody who's 50 and above.
There's an agency owner on YouTube known
as the Medicare family, and her entire
audience is 65 and up. And the
government publishes the commission
rates. For instance, Medicare caps new
Medicare Advantage enrollments add up to
$694 per person and over $347 again on
every renewal. And I know how hard it is
to navigate the US healthcare system,
especially for seniors. That's why nurse
Jen, who we talked about before, started
a channel to help seniors navigate the
healthare system. And again, she's
filming all of her videos inside of her
camper van, which I think is so epic,
while she's literally traveling the
world. So agents call that a residual
book and it's the closest thing to a
pension that you can build yourself in
this job. So how much do Medicare
insurance agents make? On average,
according to Glass Door, they make about
86 to $150,000 a year. Now remember what
I said about the over 50 audience being
the most valuable audience online? Well,
one of our community members, Dr. Danny,
is an anesthesiologist who built her
channel around aging well. And she is
serving this exact demographic. And
she'd been on YouTube for over 6 years
and never really had success with her
channel. But after joining our program,
one of our first videos using our system
did over 970,000 views in 3 weeks. All
right. Next is a financial advisor. So
this is where you sit down with families
and help them manage their money. We're
talking retirement, planning, investing,
insurance, etc. And you get paid a
percentage of what you manage or you can
get paid hourly as well. So Seri
Associates, the research firm that this
whole industry runs on, found that
109,000 financial adviserss plan to
retire within the next 10 years. And
that is 37.5% of the entire profession.
and they control about 41.5% of all
assets walking out the door. And in a
year, the industry added a net of about
2,76 new advisers. So, think about that.
The supply and demand imbalance is
massive. And ask yourself this question.
If a 60-year-old couple hands over their
life savings, who do you think they're
going to trust? The 24year-old with a
fresh license, or somebody who's
actually lived through a recession, a
mortgage, and a kid's tuition bill?
Somebody who's on the older side?
Probably the second one, right? And if I
were to get advice about my money, even
though I'm a bit younger, I would still
go to a more experienced individual like
Rob Burgerer. So, he gives advice about
how you can manage money for retirement.
And on his channel, by the way, he's
making about $3.8,000 a month from
AdSense alone, according to Vid IQ. And
one of his most viewed videos about
investment got 2 million views and made
him $9.9,000 in revenue. And that's a
big chunk of change for a 16-minute
video. And by the way, the AdSense money
you make on YouTube is just a small
fraction of the amount of money that you
make. Usually, AdSense is about 5% of
the total amount of money that we make
on this channel, for instance. 5% or
less. But you might be thinking, "All
right, Shane, but I don't have a finance
degree." You don't need one. There's a
certified planner on YouTube who made an
entire video walking through how you do
this without one. And we also have a
community member who runs a stock
research platform, real software, real
customers, and his whole growth engine
was SEO, blog post, Google rankings,
praying the algorithm didn't change its
mind on a Tuesday. And he came to us
because he knew YouTube was where the
attention was, and he just didn't know
how to make it work for a product like
his. And we had him lead with what the
market already wants to watch. And then
once people are actually in the video,
the product shows up naturally as the
tool that he uses to do the thing that
he's showing you. So you don't need a
finance degree. And if you're posting
online, you don't necessarily need to
even be a personal financial adviser.
And in this particular case, within a
month of training, half of his most
popular videos on his channel were new
ones. And three of them beat the best
video that he'd ever made before working
with us. Now, how much do financial
adviserss make on average? Well, it's
about $152 to $283,000
a year. And the older ones tend to make
more money because they're more trusted.
And like I said before, you don't have
to be a financial adviser to just share
your opinion and what you've learned
about making money or saving money or
investing money on YouTube. For
instance, just look at R.J. the
Unretire. He's another one of our
community members and within a few
months of starting on YouTube, he made
it to nearly $30,000 in a single month
and he's absolutely crushing it on his
channel. Now, if you want to learn how
all of these people started their
channel, R.J., Nurse Jen, etc. Like I
said, I'm sharing the exact system in a
live training that we're doing this
week. Do not miss out on it. It's going
to be super fun. And I'm also going to
be giving away an AI that helps you pick
your niche if you don't have one or if
you already have one, it's going to help
you make it 10 times better. And we're
going to teach you exactly how you can
actually make money from the knowledge
that you already have. And I'll be
answering any questions that you have
before, during, and after the live
training. So click the link in the
description in the pin comment below to
attend that. And I look forward to
seeing you there. With that being said,
I know 99% of people watching this are
just going to enjoy my free content.
You're going to enjoy the free resources
that I give you like the niche validator
AI and you're going to attend my live
training and get a ton of value out of
that as well. but we are never going to
end up working together and that's
completely fine. I get emails and
messages and comments on YouTube all the
time from people who watched my videos
and started successful channels without
ever having to work with me. With that
being said, there's going to be 1% of
you out there or even 0.1% of you out
there that want a one-on-one mentorship
experience, a one-on-one handholding
experience, or you just want us to
literally do the work for you because
you want to get results as quickly and
easily as possible with the least amount
of headache, time, effort, or money
spent. If that sounds like you, go ahead
and click the second link in the
description in the pin comment below to
book a call directly with myself or my
team. On this call, we'll figure out
where you are right now, where you want
to be. We'll make a plan to get there,
and we'll see if we're a good fit to
work together or not. We are always over
booked. We constantly have more people
that want to join our program than
people than we can accept. Right now, we
can only accept five people into the
program. And historically, we've only
accepted about 18% of people who try to
book a call. So, only book if you're
very serious about growing and making
money on YouTube. The types of people we
typically work with are going to be
professionals with at least 10 years of
experience or overachievers. Basically,
people who have knowledge, experience,
wisdom, and value to give to the world,
and we can help them easily monetize
that knowledge. We also work with
business owners that want to get more
leads, get more views, build their
brand, and get more sales from YouTube.
We work with YouTubers who already have
a lot of views, but they're struggling
with monetization. We work with
YouTubers who are crushing it, but they
want to crush it even harder. And we
work with people who are big on other
social media platforms, but they want to
bring that audience over to YouTube
because they know that YouTube is the
best. So, if that sounds like you, click
the second link in the description, the
pin comment below to book a call. And

where we go over exactly how we helped
Nurse Jen go from zero to a full-time
income in less than two months.
