4500 Gloom Per Run! How To LEVEL UP FAST! - Best Early To Mid Game XP & Coin Farm - Mortal shell 2
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
In this Mortal Shell 2 guide, the creator DPJ introduces an efficient early-to-mid game farming strategy located at the Gate of Mammon beacon, which allows players to earn over 4,000 Gloom per run. The route is accessible immediately after completing the prologue by taking the lift up and then turning around on the platform to descend into the outskirts of Mammon rather than proceeding forward as usual. This specific location is highly beneficial for users of the Proxima character with the Collector passive active, as it generates a massive amount of specimens that can be sold to Merrick for 100 coins each, significantly boosting coin income alongside Gloom collection.
The core of the farming loop involves navigating through an area populated by ten enemies inside coffins and several standard foes, while deliberately ignoring minor threats that drop only about 50 Gloom to save time and reduce risk. Players are advised to use slower weapons to manage the fight effectively, as faster attacks might cause them to miss stun opportunities, allowing enemies to grab and deal heavy damage. The strategy relies on kiting the coffin enemies together by running past them so they gather in a cluster, making it easier to apply area-of-effect damage or take them out sequentially without getting overwhelmed by their grab mechanics.
To maximize efficiency, the guide recommends jumping off the edge of the map after clearing the enemies to respawn directly at the beacon, avoiding the long trek back through dangerous zones where players could lose both lives and collected Gloom. This rinse-and-repeat cycle is particularly useful for upgrading Tar Stones quickly, though it requires confidence in one's ability to handle the encounters without dying. The video also provides a detailed walkthrough of the path from the Marrow Keep, showing how to navigate past various bridges and avoid specific enemy types like those shooting dirty arrows to safely reach the target beacon using only the currently unlocked location.
Ultimately, this farming method offers a reliable way to accumulate substantial resources early in the game without needing to venture into higher-level areas prematurely. The creator emphasizes caution when jumping off the map to ensure players are certain they can defeat the grouped enemies before respawning, as losing Gloom would be a significant setback. By following the specific route shown and utilizing the environmental layout to group targets, players can streamline their progression and build up their inventory of specimens and Gloom rapidly for future upgrades and purchases.

So guys, I am back with yet another
Mortal SH 2 video. And today guys, I
bring an amazing early to mid game farm,
which will see you earning 4,000 plus
colon per run. And if you're using
Proxima and you have the collector
passive active, you also see tons of
specimen drop, which you can then sell
to Merrick for 100 coin each and earn
actually quite a lot of money in doing
so. Let's go. How's it going, guys? My
name's DPJ and if you do enjoy the
video, leaving a like. Really helps out.
And if you like what you see, want to
see more, be sure to subscribe. So, it
takes place from this beacon right here,
the gate of Mammon. Within this area,
guys, there's like 10 enemies which will
drop 400 plus gloom each one. Uh, and
this is a beacon you can come to right
off the bat. Um, so upon you completing
the prologue, you normally go in that
direction to this beacon, but you can
actually turn back around on the
platform where you take that lift and
come down to this place right here, the
outskirts of Mammon. In a quick second,
I'll show you the route of how you get
down to this beacon in a quick second
for those that don't have this unlocked.
But from this beacon, guys, I'll show
you what I do. And again, if you're
using Proxima and you got the collector
passive active, you'll earn a lot of
specimen in doing this. So, we come this
way, jump over this wall because that
guy is just an annoyance. You don't even
actually fight him. He only drops like
50 gloom anyway. So, come this way,
guys, and we're looking for those dudes
in those coffins. And there's like
there's like 10 here. And what I will
say is as well, you have to be careful
and know where each one actually spawns
in because they grab you, can do a lot
of damage. And no doubt I'll be grabbed
trying to record this live,
but yeah. So, I'm just going to take
these guys out. And I'm using a slower
weapon as well. Um, if you're using a
quicker weapon, you're probably actually
going to use probably quicker.
So, yeah, there's three. And then
there's another guy right around here,
guys, or right there. Now, you can
actually kite these guys together. So,
if you run past them all, that should
all kind of gather up. If you can do AoE
damage, you'll take him out even
quicker. So, then guys will come around
this way. There's another one right
there. So, take him out. Actually, I
want to grab me. There we go. There we
go. That's what they do, too, when they
grab you. So, if you don't actually hit
them and stun them, they will do that to
you. So keep that in mind. So yeah,
luckily I've got this amazing well I say
amazing. A lot of people don't like a
lot of people hat on it. I don't know
why they hat on it. I think it's just a
skill shoe. You know what I mean? But
yeah. So we come down this way guys.
There's another one right there.
Ba boom. There we go. And then there's
another one right there in front of me.
So I'm just going to take him out too
again. Ignore them dudes there. Oh, do
you not die? Ignore that guy right
there. He only drops like 50 of that
gloom, so it's absolutely no point doing
so. Run down this way. I actually kite
these two together. There's one there
and one right in front of me. So, I cut
these two together, guys. And let's run
around and lay down that damage.
Boom.
Boom. Did you not die? I thought you
died. Get out of it. There we go. Should
pick up my specimens. And then guys, you
run down here to take out the last one,
which is this guy right here.
Again, if you're quick enough, you can
hit them out of there. So, yeah. Now,
what I'd normally do from here, guys, is
I'd jump off the edge right here, and
then I'd respawn back at the beacon.
Otherwise, you got to run all the way
back. That's how it's up to you how you
do it. But if you do, either way, if you
do jump off there, make sure you collect
your gloom, people. And don't do it
unless you're absolutely certain you can
take these guys out. uh with no problem
at all because if you do die and you
lose your gloom then yeah a little bit a
little bit a little bit of a sticky
situation there. So yeah, you run back
to the actual beacon guys and then you
simply rinse and repeat the farm over
and over and over. I actually use this a
lot to actually upgrade my tar stones.
Um and it does it quite quickly as well.
So yeah guys, so I return to the marrow
keep now and I show you the route in
which you take to get to this point
initially after the prologue. I mean, I
wouldn't recommend you coming here after
completing the prologue, but again, if
you're confident, there's nothing
stopping you, but either also from the
actual the Mario keeper. Going to run. I
always run towards her. Don't know what
it is. Something there. Two things
actually just draw me towards I don't
know what they are, but hey. So, we're
going to run this way, guys. And we're
going to run straight through here,
guys. We're going to take the lift
just like so.
So, we're going to take the lift up.
Bada boom.
Then guys, initially you'd actually go
in this direction, but if you turn
around, clear out your corruption, and
go in this direction, grab this,
and then we just literally come down to
this point right here. This is only be
the only beacon you have unlocked, by
the way, while you're doing this. So,
yeah. Okay, so we have landed and we're
at the initial uh the beacon right here.
So, we're just going to travel across to
this point right here, guys. We will
come across this beacon along the way.
So, let's go. So, just going to go
forward and then take a hard right here.
Just be careful where you go because
there's a lot of drops here which you
can quite easily lose your life to. So,
it's going to come across this way and
take a left across this bridge just like
so. Then, we're going to come across
these bridges here as well. Ignore all
these enemies, guys.
and then come across this bridge as well
and up here and we're going to traverse.
So, boom. There we go.
Then guys, we're going to come down.
Don't go up. Go down. We're going to
come this way. Then there's that beacon
right here on our left hand side in that
beacon right there. The abandoned
outpost. So, from here, we're going to
come down this way.
Come under this little log. Going to run
past this dude trying to uh trying to
avoid his like big old dirty arrows. I'm
going to traverse across this bridge.
Then guys, just going to go forward
just like so
just like so. You can actually see the
area we're in, guys. This is the area
all the dudes in those coffins are that
we farm. We're just going to run up this
direction past this dude.
And then indeed you have that beacon
active and just trigger it. There we go.
And that is it guys. Take advantage of
this while you can. And I hope you
enjoy. If you do, leave a like. It
really helps me out. If you like what
you see and want to see more, be sure to
subscribe.
And hopefully guys, I will see you on
that next
one.
