Well, good morning everybody once again
from Northern Indiana.
Trailers. I got two more trailers on
here today. Once again, did the same
thing with the tongue wrap. Winched it
in on both sides. Holds the trailer
down. Also stops it from going side to
side and stops it
from going into my truck.
Got both axles tied down here on both
sides.
Now, I did the same thing with this
trailer here, except this one's actually
on the deck, not floating on the risers.
So, this one, I've got the wheel chalks
nailed in to the wood on my trailer on
both sides. That's there. Got this
holding the trailer down. We got this
helping to keep the trailer from going
side to side, also holding it down and
stopping it going this way.
We are ready to rock and roll.

This is a long weekend when I picked
this up. So, it's a Friday. Monday is a
holiday in the US and in Canada. It was
Labor Day on both sides of the border.
Hope you had a good one. I'm sure I did
by the time you watch this. But, I am
going to deliver these Tuesday morning
so I get an extra day at home with the
family this weekend.
Bit of a traffic jam here at the toll
booth. I don't know what's going on.
Every lane is plugged.
Wonder if the toll booths or if the easy
pass system is down or something.
We seem to be moving along slowly. So,
it must be working just slowly.
Or maybe there's a ah there's got to be
something going on. Maybe a broken down
vehicle at one of these center lanes and
everyone's getting all confused. Can't
see anything cuz these trucks in front
of us. See, even while I drive a big
truck, I don't like being behind the big
trucks. Can't see what's going on.
Why does he want to get out of this
lane? I bet you he can see something I
can't.
Good luck, buddy. Oh, there you go. Just
got to get aggressive. Just stick your
nose in there.
That guy's going to take his spot. Okay.
I can't move because this car is in
front of me.
Okay, so this left lane is moving. The
lane I'm in seems to be stuck.
I'm going to try to get into this left
lane here to bypass this as well. Have
to wait for a gap in traffic coming up
beside me. I think my gap is coming. Oh
no, somebody took it. Okay.
Yep. Here we go. Right after this these
two cars.
And here we go. Here's our turn.
Something's going on in those center
lanes. Everyone's trying to get out of
those lanes,
I think. I mean, what's going on here?
What in the world is going on here?
So, those lanes are all plugged. The
cash lanes. Oh, that makes more sense.
Everyone's trying to fish out their
cash. The easy pass lanes are open,
though.
Go right in this lane. Oh, and this one
easy pass lane. This guy's got his
fourways on, so he's stuck there. What a
gong show.
Oh, now he's moving.
Oh, please take my money. Don't make me
be one of the guys making it worse. Take
my money.

the guys holding everything up.

All right. So, we're turning off of uh
or getting off of I90 toll road.

traffic ahead of me. Oh, no. It's 4

on a Friday of a long weekend. Oh no.

Well, here's what you get. Here's what

Well, as far as the I can see, we got
traffic. I'm looking at my GPS,
which tells me how the traffic is all
the way through Chicago, and it's bad.
It's red all the way up the 294 onto the
290, all the way to the 94.
See that truck up ahead there? Cars
following him. That's not a very nice
guy. He He pulled off here to the right
to go into that turn, that merge lane
there. He's trying to get ahead of a
bunch of cars.
That's not not cool.
I don't know why they don't put cement
barriers here. Why do they have all this
open concrete? Cuz otherwise that
encourages these guys who like to cheat
and cut the line to go around, right?
So anyway, I'm not going through
Chicago, not even on the 294. I am not
paying those tolls so that I can sit in
traffic. That's just paying money to
sit.
We're going to take I 80 right through
the south side.
Make yawn. I made you all yawn. Made you
yawn. Leave me a comment if I just made
you yawn.
Ah,
we're going to go right through on I 80
and go all the way to I39.
45 miles longer. I know. But uh no
traffic, no tolls.
So, we'll probably break even and we'll
save some money because I don't got to
pay those tolls then. It's going to take
just as long waiting in traffic here.
So,
that's the decision that I have made. I
made an executive decision, a
presidential decision.
I am the president of this here rig
and I hereby have declared
that we will be taking I80 to I39 the
longer
but cheaper route.
This is nuts.
people live here, you know, like all
like so many people live here and have
to deal with this every single day. How
do you do it? And I got one question for
you. Why do you all live in one place?
It's a big country. Like,
you know what they should do? Spread
out. Build some high-speed rail.
Everyone can take a highspeed rail in to
work.
Have some space. Less traffic.
But that is not the North American way.
Even Canadians wouldn't like that.
Take away my right to drive my vehicle
to my job and sit in traffic for an
extra 4 hours. How dare you?
The blood of Patriots has been spilt.
Oh, look at this truck coming up on my

thing out. needs a little bit of work.
But that's going to look awesome one
day. That already that's pretty cool,
though. I don't agree with lowering a
pickup truck. That's just
not my style. I don't like them raised
either.

know? I like the front end lifted just
so it's level, but lowering a pickup
truck, that's But I mean, since it's
such an old classic pickup, that's
pretty cool. Not going to lie. Can't
take that from him. That's cool. I wish
he was turning in front of me. Maybe
I'll be able to let him in. Maybe I can
let in the cool guy. I don't want to let
in this tow truck. I want the cool guy.
Ah, looks like I'm getting the tow
truck. The cool guy went in front of
this one. Other guy in front of me. All

Not as nice to look at as that other

signals aren't working on his rear tail
lights here. His wireless tail lights.
That means his brake lights probably
aren't working either. That's good to
know. Let's see if I can get around him.
I don't want to be behind him if uh his
brake lights aren't working.

lanes, right, traffic stops. Now I'm
stopped in the middle of two lanes.

Go, buddy. There's no one in front of

Just don't like the idea of being behind
someone who I know doesn't have brake
lights.
Probably would have been better off.
Should have just stayed there. Look at
all these guys getting in front of me
now. Why are these lanes going slower?
These are the left lanes. These are
supposed to be the fast lanes. Why are
these ones all plugged up?
Can you imagine living in this mess
every day? I would be so angry all the
time. No wonder they're always angry. No
wonder I got to deal with this traffic
every day.
You know the solution to that? Move out
of the city. Breathe the fresh, clean
air.
Get a golden retriever.
Nice fenced in backyard. You know,
I'm going to be stuck in this for a
while.
We made it to Black River Falls last
night. This is where we stayed.
Parked over there in that puddle. No one
ever parks there because there's a big
puddle there. You can't really get out
of your truck without getting your shoes
all wet. So, I park there. That's my
spot.
So, I just rolled out of that puddle so
I could do my pre-trip over here. I'm
already all done, but for your benefit,
I'm just going around one more time.
At least on this side. Double check. I
already checked all those straps on that
side. But yeah, this is the load that we
uh picked up in Bristol, Indiana.
And it's a long weekend when I'm filming
this. So, I'm delivering these on
Tuesday morning into Winnipeg, Manitoba.
It's about a day and a half, two day
drive. Two well a day and 3/4. I turn it
into a two-day drive.
ready to run. So,
let's continue on home. Home is at the
end of the day today, so we will be only
stopping for mandatory stops.
No extra wasting time.
I have really got to spend some time
really soon cleaning out the inside of
this truck. It is getting a little bit
nasty.
I've been so rush rush rush lately that
I've been neglecting
cleaning it a little bit.
Stuck here in some traffic behind this
beautiful 150 pontoon.
Well, it's a pontoon with a 150 Yamaha
motor on it.
He's going my way, too. You can just
drop that off at my house. You know
what? Just drop it off at the border.
I'll come pick it up, man. That's nice.
I'll keep saying it. One day, not any
day soon, though.
I've set other goals for myself that I
have to accomplish first. But once those
are gone, once we get these few other
things out of the way, probably about
four or five years, hopefully four, but
maybe five, we can go around shopping
for one of those bad boys. Look at that
thing's beautiful.
Oh, there's cops here. Oh,
hello. Oh, a whole bunch of them. What
happened here? Four of them. Is there
more yet? Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. We
got one, two, three, four, five cops
here.
And if I would have known you were
there, I would have moved over. But
we're going past nice and slow.
What are they all doing? Just having a
having a meeting. That's a great place
for a meeting. Hey guys, let's just, you
know, go over what we're going to do
today here on the side of the road in a
construction zone.
That's what that whole traffic jam was
about. Okay.
There must have been a reason why they
would do that.
They didn't even have anyone else. What
in the world? There's got to be a better
place to have your meeting. But who am
I? Who am I to question the law?
It wasn't that big of a delay. Whatever.
Whatever. We're back to back our speed
limit here. Look at this. Speed limit
70.
Hey buddy. Hey. You got a trailer behind
you. You don't need to cut in front of
me like that. I'm going to give a little
more space in that.
So, we're rolling past Drayton, North
Dakota right now, northbound I29. This
is where I usually grab fuel right at
the LS. I grabbed fuel in Alexandria at
the Pilot instead this time. I couldn't
have made it here on my fuel that that I
had. But look at that credit price of
diesel fuel. $6.15.
$69 cash for credit. $6.15
per gallon in North Dakota.
Insane.
North Dakota.
This is home of like the below $3 gallon
of diesel.

Canadian when when you convert it for my
Canadian friends
in the US.
It's just as expensive here as it is in
Canada now, if not more expensive. I
think it might be cheaper for me to fuel
up in Canada cuz then I can claim my GST
at least, right? Get my GST back.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to start
fueling up north of the border now. It's
crazy how expensive it's gotten so fast
down here.
It's time to get these things off my
trailer. Time to get the trailers off my
trailer. I don't want them anymore.
Actually, that's not true. I really do
want them, but I can't have them cuz
they're not mine. So, I have to go drop
them off where they belong. And then
that'll be it for that trip. and then
we'll start next week in the vlogs. It's
been a fun ride up from Indiana back up
to Manitoba. It's a two-day drive.

Next stop was here at home. Got to go
home for the weekend and
worked out really well. Everything was
cleared for customs before I got there,
which is good. I was a little bit
worried. It was down to the last minute
almost, but before I got to the border,
I got the green light, got to cross, and
