This road that I do like between Ontario
and Minnesota, it goes past so many
lakes and I see so many people
having so much joy
out on a boat on the water everyday.
Makes me want a boat.
I want a boat.
I can't get a boat. Can't get a boat.
That's one of those one day maybe
dreams.
It's not really on the
must have dreams.
But maybe maybe one day. Maybe you never
know.
We're going to keep trying.
Got to take care of a few other things.
Got to make sure that you know, we got a
retirement ready when I
can't work anymore or don't want to work
anymore.
Got to make sure that we're ready for
that.
And we want to go on family vacations.
We got bills just like you do.
So a boat
that's
not in the cards for anytime very soon.
We have everything we need plus a little
bit more right now. So we're good.
But it sure would be nice, wouldn't it?
Sure would be nice. I know I know boat
means
break out another thousand. I get it.
Boats are expensive.
I know. Still want one.
Yep. But Josh, it's a money pit. Oh, I
know. I want to jump in headfirst. I do.
I really do.
Whether not I will

>> or if I'm able to, I have to get up to
the edge of that that pit before I can
jump in first, right? I'm not even up to
the edge of the pit yet. So, don't
worry. I'm not jumping in anytime soon.
I can't reach it yet. Still too far
away. Maybe one day I'll make it to the
side of the pit and then I'll jump in.
Who knows?
We want to get a pontoon. I want to get
a a special pontoon, like one of those
like three like the the the the the the
ones with the three tubes under it.
With like a
massive motor on the back that we can
like pull tubes and stuff with it.
That'd be awesome, but uh
those things are more expensive than my
entire truck and trailer here that I'm
driving.
Unless I can find a good used deal
somewhere or a good deal on a new one, I
don't know. We'll see. We'll see.
That's a big we'll see.
I'm going to keep talking about it
though.

This corner sometimes catches you off
guard if you're not familiar with the
road. Speed limit here is 90 km an hour,
like 55 mph.
Right?
And there's not really sufficient
warning signs saying like, "Hey,
Oh, what's this guy doing now?
What's this guy doing now? Dude, you
can't stop here.
What are you What are you doing?
You can't stop there.

Anyways, I lost my train of thought.
Yes, 90 km an hour there. There's no
real signs recommending you to go off
and have signs that will suggest you
slow down for a corner.
Nothing like that there and uh
if you're coming around there
90, you know, some people drive through
here at 120 for some reason.
And if they're not ready for it, yeah,
they'll whoops.
Fly right over.
It's just crazy traffic around Kenora
and in uh Minnesota all around Lake of
the Woods.
All these lucky people getting to spend
all their time here. That's awesome.
Gets me excited for next week cuz uh
like I've been talking about non-stop,
we have vacation coming up next week.
It's a staycation. We're not actually
going anywhere.
Uh we're doing a few We plan a few big
things. Uh Tinkertown in Winnipeg uh for
the kids. It's like a kids amusement
park and we want to go to a beach once.
And uh
other than that, I think that
mostly we're going to be trying to stay
at home. We have a few things we need to
get done during the week. We're just
going to stay home, relax, and spend
time as a family, and just forget about
everything else for a whole week.
With that being said, I don't know if
there'll be a video tomorrow yet. I'm
not sure how much we'll be filming on
vacation or on staycation.
I mean, I imagine we would, uh,
film something, make a couple of vlogs
out of it.
But, uh,
I'm looking forward to it. I'm really,
really looking forward to it, and just
resting.
Uh, cuz our second-born Micah has now,
uh,
begun sleeping through the whole night,
most nights. Most nights. And, uh,
that is a big help.
That's a big help. He's going to be 1
year old during this next week when I'm
at home.
In some ways it feels like it went
really fast.
And other ways,
let me turn this off.
And other ways it feels like, you know,
it's been the longest year of our lives.
Uh, it was, uh, a very different
experience with Micah's first year than
it was with Theo's first year.
Every kid is different. That's what
they've always told us, right? And, you
know, if we ever have another one, that
one will be completely different from
both of them.
Are we going to have another one?
I don't know. Both Brit and I would like
another
another child.
Whether or not it's in the cards or if
it's possible.
>> [clears throat]
>> As first of all, both Theo and Micah
were, uh,
uh, conceived through IVF.
We're very fortunate to be able to, uh,
have two successful pregnancies and
births from IVF. However, we don't have
any more embryos
left, and, uh, Brit will not be going
through any more procedures for egg
retrievals or anything like that. We're
not going to be doing IVF thing over
again. We're done. We're done with that.
So, if we have another one, it will be
conceived naturally. So, it's very, very
possible still that we could have
another one. I'm getting a little older.
I'm what, 38 years old now?
Uh Britt has been holding steady at 23
for a few years though, so
that's good.
That's it. We still have a chance.

[sighs and gasps]
>> Uh we're both in our 30s.
And I'm later in my 30s. And you know,
if we had if we conceive another one,
let's say next year
when I'm turning 39
that means we'd be having our third
child when I'm 40.
Not unheard of. Not that uncommon
anymore these days, but
you know, I'd be a bit of an older dad.
And I want to be a grandpa, too. I want
to see their kids one day. I would be an
old old grandpa.
But that's one reason why I got to keep
myself in shape, right? I got to
>> [sighs and gasps]
>> got to start being healthy, eating
healthy
cuz I want to live to see these things.
We all have to die one day.
But we don't have to die
so soon, right? We we can enjoy life a
little while longer. It's hard to see to
that point of life when you're younger.
Even at my point of life, mid-life I
guess you'd call this, close to
mid-life. I was young adult maybe. I
don't think I'm young adult anymore. I'm
like just adult adult, right? I don't I
don't know where that line is. When do
you go from a young adult
to a middle-aged adult?
Am I there? I got enough gray hair. I
think I can be considered middle-aged,
right? Am I am I ready for a mid-age
crisis yet? Cuz I would really like a
boat.
I'm
>> [laughter]
>> We uh
we'll see if we get another one.
We'd love to have a little girl. If we
get another boy, that'd be just as cool.
But how cool would it be to uh sort of
I a girl, too. I have a little princess.
We'll see what uh
has in store what God has in store for
us. We'll see what life has in store for
us. We'll see what uh what happens.
But, I mean, if nothing happens within
the next few years, I think we will be
calling it quits altogether for trying,
and I'll probably go in and get the old
snip.
And we'll just focus on
enjoying what God has given us and
enjoying what we have.
Cuz we don't want to lose track of that.
When it for the past 10 years or more uh
for the past 10 years, not more. We we
were married in 2017. So, in the
since we got married,
you know, we've been
trying non-stop to conceive. That's all
that's sort of dominated our marriage
and our lives.
We had Theo. We were so thankful, and we
wanted one more. We wanted Theo to have
a sibling and maybe another one, but
we got the two. We're very thankful for
that, and if that's all God gives us,
we're very happy with that. But, if
we're blessed with another one,
that'd be super cool. That'd be That'd
be awesome.
We'll see, but now we want to start
shifting our focus into just making our
children's lives
uh great,
making sure that they're raised right
with the right lessons,
that they grow up to be good adults,
make sure that we do the best we can cuz
as as parents, that's our main job. Make
sure that our children grow up to be
good, decent human beings,
contributing human beings.
And so, that they can be successful when
I'm gone.
So, I can teach them, help them
to be able to build their lives, build a
career, whatever they want to do in
life, help them get there so that when I
go one day, they'll be okay on their
own.
Next week,
that'll be some good family bonding
time. We'll see what happens. Anyways,
I'm going to bed here in Kenora very
shortly. Uh the sun is still up, but uh
probably head to bed soon.
Just so I can get an early start and uh
go get that load, tie it down, tarp it,
bring it on down to Minnesota, and then
head home.
