Good morning everybody. We're here in
Minnesota. I got unloaded and it's hot.
It is hotter than a

So, we're talking like 30 Celsius,
probably around 80 Fahrenheit just to
start the day.
And it's going to keep going up and up
and up thanks to our friend up there.
You'd think it was summertime or
something, right? Like we should have
been prepared for this. I'm a Canadian.
I was born of the ice.
This is not my natural habitat.
Though, I like it though. I'm not
complaining. I actually like this better
than the cold. I don't like the cold at
all, but it seems my body is better
equipped to handle the extreme cold
rather than the extreme heat. I wish it
was, but I guess that makes sense. I I I
usually have to live in the cold, right?
Summertime gets really hot here, though.
Here's our trailer. We are unloaded and
uh ready to rock. Are you guys ready to
rock? It's going to be a good day. I got
to go down to Minneapolis. I got a load
of shingles there that are waiting for
me. I'm going to grab those, bring them
up to Winnipeg, Manitoba's,
deliver those tomorrow, and then see
what life has for us after that.
For now, we are going to
close the doors, keep the windows
closed, and enjoy, thank God, the
functional air conditioning. Oh, man. I
I saw these stories from last month of
like Europeans
that don't have air conditioning. What
are you guys doing? Get an air
conditioner. Are you Why Why are you
torturing yourselves? It's like 35° or
100° there or whatever. And they're
having debates on their TV shows like,
"Is it is it good to have an air
conditioner? Why do you deserve an air
conditioner? Is it morally right to have
an air conditioner? Are you kidding me?
Just buy the air conditioner. What are
you debating for? What? There's people
dying of heat exhaustion." And they're
like on the news debating whether or not
it's ethical to have an air condition.
That's the first thing we buy when we
buy a new house here. You buy a new
house. And I live in Canada, though it
does get really hot here in summertime.
I encourage you, Trucker Josh encourages
you right now, officially, my European
friends and my United Kingdom friends,
just go buy the air conditioner. Stop
debating it. It's not a debate.
Do it.
Might save your life. Plus, don't you
deserve to live in comfort?
I will never never understand that
debate.
Is it morally right? An air conditioner,
you know, uses electricity, which also
contributes to global warming.
Well, you know what else contributes to
global warming? The temperature of my
butt crack. All right.
Air conditioning. Should be a human

isn't it? I'm pretty sure it is.

the the debates online on their like
news. They're like they're broadcasting
on the news debating with people and
asking them why they think they deserve
an air conditioner and how that could
destroy the planet faster.

really good. I don't know what it's

to find me its own detour, but there's
already a detour here in place for me.
But Trucker obviously hasn't updated to
this detour. And no sense in doing it
either cuz by the time they get it
updated, they'll have to update it back.

farmers. They're royalty.
Maybe uh boat people are the same way. I
don't I don't know. That was weird
though, right? That's sketchy. He's

Oh, what a day. What a day. We're here
in Loves and Drayton, North Dakota.
I grabbed some fuel before heading back
up into Canada.
Got loaded up with my shingles.
Forklift driver was a little rough on my
trailer. I got a little bit annoyed with
it, but I was more uh upset with his
attitude towards me when I pointed out
the damage. Like he bent in one of my
rub rails just a little bit, right? I
could bend it back. wasn't a big deal,
but I pointed it out to him and I had to
say, "Please stop hitting my trailer."
And he kept hitting my trailer with this
forklift.

>> And so once he was done loading me, I
went and pointed it out to him and said,
"Hey, look, this is the damage you did.
I asked you to please stop hitting my
trailer." He lost his mind on me. Like
he got right mad.

Like he's he was saying things like,
"Oh, this is how we load trailers. If
you don't like it, you should get out of
here cuz we load trucks all day and
we're going to bump your trailer and
it's a trailer. That's what it's made
for." He was going on and on and on,
just losing his mind on me. I don't know
if he was on drugs,
but I was like, "Dude, I'm not mad at
you."

>> buddy. And I was trying to tell him, I
was trying to say, "Just calm down. I'm
not mad. I'm not mad. I can fix it. I
can." But he wouldn't let me get those
words in. Cuz he was just going on and
on. I don't know if he had something
going on in his life, but
what in the world? Why are you mad at
me? You damaged my trailer. I should be
mad at you, and you should be grateful
that I'm not.
Make it make sense.
Why? Why are people like that? It's just
you meet them more and more often.
Like while he was loading me, you got to
stay in the truck while they load you
there, right? So he's loading me from
the driver's side and he kept hitting
the trailer. Boom. Boom. Every time he's
using it as like a break. He wasn't even
trying to slow down. He just boom like
hard. I stepped out on my step and I
said, "Hey, please don't bang my
trailer." I didn't even say it that that
I'm I'm more worked up right now because
I'm talking. But I said, "Hey, please
don't hit my trailer." Maybe I came
across as upset, justified. I don't
care. You're hitting my trailer. That's
my property. And he said, "Oh, yeah." He
gave me the wave. And then he kept kept
hitting it. Not as hard. Kept like but
still enough to like shake the truck.
And I'm like,
"So after we're loaded, I go to the I
have to go to a different spot where I
tie down the load, right?"
And I look at the damage and yep, sure
enough, he's bent the rub rail in in
three different spots and one was pretty
decent. Not that bad. I can bend it
back. I already did. I already bent it
back. Not a big deal. But I figured, you
know what? Because I asked him not to
and he kept on doing it, I should
probably go in and just talk to the
shipping office about it, right? Just
so, you know, let them know. Don't let
him get away with stuff like that or
just like let them know, hey, I didn't
appreciate that. Like just some guys
will get a lot more upset than me.
like you damaged my trailer. So, just if
you don't mind, next time just take it a
little more easy. And that's literally
my attitude going in there. I'm not
exaggerating. I was super pleasant,
not hostile at all. And the guy who was
loading me stands up and just glares at
me and says, "I didn't damage your
effing this effing sort of swearing at
me." I'm like, "Yes, you did. You you
damaged my trailer after I told you to
stop bumping my trailer."
Let me see this. Let me see this. He
takes his camera out and he goes out
there. He starts mumbling the whole
time. It's just a trailer. It's just a
trailer. I'm like, I I just bought this
trailer last year. It's a lot of money.
A lot of money. These trailers go for
like $75 $80,000 US.
It's my trailer. It's not a company
trailer. I own it. He's like, "Well,
this is how we load trucks here. And if
you don't like it, you should get out of
here. Get off our property." Well, I am
going to get off your property as soon
as I tie my load down. I'll be out of
here. Don't worry. I'm not mad at you.
I'm not mad at you. Don't even You
didn't have to come out here. I'm not
going to make a report or anything. This
is what I was trying to say to him. But
he wouldn't let me get a word in. He
said, "It's a trailer. What do you
expect? You can't expect us not to hit
your trailer. That's just the way it
goes."
He's an incoherent rambling.
So, that's my story from getting lo. I
was very disappointed.
Very disappointed. I've never had that
there before. And uh I went and talked
to uh the manager that was there and
said, "Hey, like uh cuz he heard this
all and he actually had to remove the
guy from the shipping office and said
told him to go sit down cuz he wasn't
helping anything." I was like, "Yeah,
it's not really helping anything because
I'm not trying to get him upset. I'm not
upset. I don't know why he's upset. He
damaged my property, but I'm not mad. So
why is he yelling at me?"
And he was

>> I'm still just dumbfounded and I'm all
the way out in Drayton, North Dakota
already and I still can't figure it out.
Shouldn't I be the one that's completely
mad?
I was thinking like what if someone were
to go to his car and just like key the
door?
Would he get mad? Oh, probably. What if
we told him, "Oh, it's just a car. It's
just a car. Well, you got to expect
scratches on a car. It's just a car."
And at one point he even told me like
cuz I said this trailer is worth a lot
of money. It's like $80,000 US. And well
just go buy a new trailer. This is how
like weird it was. He just said just go
buy a new trailer. Whatever trailer this
happens to trailers
and I just couldn't. Once I was talking
to his guy who was in charge of him uh
his boss there or whatever the manager
that was there. I said you know what
stuff happens. And that's why I'm not
mad. This stuff happens. But he was
deliberately hitting my trailer. That's
why I came to talk because I asked him
to stop and he didn't stop and he ended
up damaging my equipment.
So, he was really nice about it. The
manager apologized said, you know,
that's completely unacceptable. Like,
I'm I'm so sorry. I hope you have a good
day. Like, uh, thanks for not making a
report and stuff and blah blah blah. He
was pleasant. But the other guy was just
That's why I wonder like was he on
something? What's going on in his life?
Maybe he's got something going on in his
life at home or is he just that angry
all the time? Can you imagine living
with someone who's that angry over
nothing?
Like, it's the kind of person that walks
past you, smacks you across the face,
and when you say, "Hey, why did you
smack me in the face?" he gets mad at
you and threatens to smack you again.
Like, what?
What backwards world do you come from?
And uh can we find a way to get you back
there? Cuz this is not your reality.
Like, this is not your realm. I don't
think I don't think you like whatever.
That was my story. And that's why I
haven't filmed from there to here
because I was just sort of processing
everything that he said there. It was
only like a short 10-minute like I I
don't even want to call it a
confrontation cuz I was just standing
there like, "Dude, I'm not mad." I kept
saying that. I'm not mad. I'm not mad.
Calm down. I'm not mad at you. You're
you you're good. Stuff happens. He just
loses his mind.
Very strange. Very strange. Oh, you guys
got stuff all over your lens again. You
guys need to clean yourself up. You
know, keep yourself clean.
Any little speck of dust on the lens
shows up at night. But anyway,
show you what I got here. It's just a
regular load of shingles.
They don't pay enough. They can be they
could be uh better paying loads,
especially if we got to deal with that
kind of nonsense when we're getting
loaded.
It's all there and uh gets me back home,
right? Can't complain. It's a good load
to have. I'd go back there again, but
I'm kind of worried that that guy's
going to like be even more mad at me
next time. Like, oh, there's the guy
that dared tell me that I damaged his
property. How dare he tell me that I
damaged his property? He should have
just let me damage his property.
Like, I bent it all back here. Uh this
was one spot here, right? You can still
see the marks from his forks. This was
bent all the way back, like way back. I
used my bar to bend it back, thankfully.
I'm going to have to get a weld
rewelded. Uh, is it here or is it on the
other one? Uh, this one. He broke one of
the welds.
Uh, there's a mark from his forklift
there.
That wasn't the worst one, though. The
worst one was, See, I bent it back so
straight now it doesn't even, you can't
even tell really where it was. That's
why I wasn't upset at him. I I kept
trying to tell him, "Dude, I can fix it.
Stop yelling at me."
But
it's all fixed.
I think this is one of these welds
underneath here on the bottom will need
to be rewelded.
But there was three spots. There was, I
think, one right about here,
one in front of this pallet, and one in
front of this pallet, I think. And he
just when he when he made the first ding
here, this was the worst one. That's
when I stepped out on my cab there,
looked back at him. I said, "Please
don't hit my trailer again." And he sort
of waved me off. I thought he said,
"Okay." And then he came back and he was
kind of nice here again. No big dents
here. But then he walked my trailer
again here, loading this. and walk my
trailer again here. Loading this.
Nothing I can do about it now, though.
So,
just figured I'd tell you this story.
Wasn't really impressed, but at least it
didn't ruin my day. It seemed to ruin
his day more than ruin my day.
Oh man. But I tell you what, if they do
that to me again, next time I won't be
so nice. Next time I'm going to make a
claim,
unless if I can just fix it that easily
again, right? But he got lucky. Like
lucky that I could bend it back myself.
Ah, I forgot to wash the windshield.
Shoot. Well, it's too late. I'm already
rolling away.
I don't want to waste any time.
So, off we go with bugs and toe.
We'll just have to deal with it till
tomorrow.
We made it. Just waiting to get
unloaded.

Exciting day. It's been so hot. Have I

Ah, but you know what? We're surviving.
It's better than being cold. Way better
than being cold. I would much rather
have this heat. I'd rather sweat buckets
every day for the rest of my life than
have to deal with -30 -40° weather even
once ever again. But
that's not the world we live in. We
wouldn't appreciate the summer so much
if we didn't have the winter.
