Video summary

The speaker addresses a mix of enthusiastic support and harsh criticism regarding his recent content about stock market investments, specifically clarifying that while he shares free ideas on YouTube, his primary value lies within a premium research platform accessible for a fee. He acknowledges the frustration some viewers feel toward paid services but argues that high-quality analysis requires sustainable funding to maintain standards. To counter complaints about not offering extensive free trials or refunds without cause, he explains that strict access controls are necessary to prevent "haters" and trolls from flooding his community with negativity, thereby preserving a valuable environment for serious investors who contribute meaningfully rather than just complaining. A central theme of the discussion is the current state of global markets, which the speaker describes as historically expensive when adjusted for earnings quality, making it increasingly difficult to find bargains in the US alone. Consequently, he advises viewers looking for true value to consider diversifying their portfolios with international assets or European stocks rather than relying solely on American equities. He emphasizes that seeking genuine investment opportunities requires paying a fair price and warns against expecting high-quality research to be available for free; using his analogy of "if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys," he illustrates how lowering prices attracts low-effort users who do not appreciate the depth of the analysis provided by dedicated researchers. Despite losing some subscribers due to previous videos that were perceived as too promotional or critical of those seeking free content, the speaker remains committed to his mission of educating investors and building a diversified portfolio through rigorous research. He reveals that all profits generated from YouTube are donated after taxes to support schools in Nepal and other local educational initiatives, highlighting that his financial model is designed for impact rather than personal enrichment alone. Looking ahead, he plans to expand this educational approach by publishing new books and integrating them with free courses on value investing, ensuring that while the core research remains premium, foundational knowledge continues to be shared openly with the public.

Good day, fellow investors. Last week I did this video how I have three great buys, great views, impression, click-through rate, best ranking. Of course, people want stocks to buy. However, I want to react on the comments because those were very, very spicy. From clickbait, from this, from that. Like this should be a banner. This is just an advertising, nothing in there. Complete waste of time. What's the point of this video? But in that video at 9 seconds I said the following. Now, before all the haters attack me, I have a research platform. Yes, it's premium content, so you have to pay for it. But there is a 21-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. So, I said 21-day money-back guarantee, check it out, check everything what I do, and you get your money back if it's not for you. Just send me an email, no questions added. There are a lot of complaints, you're never buying anything, nothing, this, every second comment is oh, great analysis, not for me. And now I tell you, here is what I'm buying. Check it out. Maybe it's not now the time to join. Maybe you will join in 10 years. Who knows? I'm just telling you, this is the best value I can give you. There were also some great comments supporting. Okay. The thing is that we are in the most expensive market if you adjust for the fake earnings. We are even higher here. Most expensive market in history, in US history, in global history. And I cannot find 20-30 buys so that five or seven of them are on YouTube for free. I can find a few here and there really good at this moment in time, and that's what I'm saying. Croatian value investor, so many comments attacking me this or that. Very interesting. When we were kids, Croatia, everything was pirated. We had all the games on computers, things like that. Everything for free. I understand their mentality. I find the comment in a positive light. I will do much more with it. Altis this Monday, we did flatter yesterday. I think we do a lot of stocks. Because, yes, I lost 50 subscribers doing that video, but okay. If you are focused on this, all the money each year is donated. We do schools in Nepal. We donate to the local schools. So, after taxes, 20,000, something like that, comes from YouTube, and we donate everything. So, on the comment of the free trial makes more sense than just sending me an email for a refund. Just check the comments here below this video or below that video how much hate was in their comments. Imagine allowing for free trial and that hate coming on the platform. The most valuable thing on the platform is the great community. I cannot allow for that. I need to have a threshold so that it's not easy for haters or things like that to come in. And that's for increasing the value of the members there. So, I cannot give 7-day free trials. If you're serious, investing 500 is nothing for you. If 500 is a lot for you, then you first have to make money and then start thinking about investing. We can also make a video about that. Subscription economy, I think everyone is sharing their frustrations, which is okay. As someone says, ridiculous comments, but thank you. The minority is supportive, so I want to give you something that a friend taught me. If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. If you charge peanuts, you get a jungle for the research platform. That's very important to keep in mind. And when it comes to paying, charging, be careful in life. Seek true value, and that doesn't come for free. But the majority of comments, there is some true into that. Whenever somebody comes and joins my research platform to check it out, the number of refunds that people ask are minimal compared to the number of those that join. So, there is a catch there. I'm sorry, but you see how it goes. There were some questions on the research platform. We'll do a detailed video US versus domestic, international. Is it easy? The free stocks I bought, two are Europeans, one is traded on the Nasdaq. So, how would be it from New Zealand? Then, from a community, you can see immediately see the community value depending on the country. Always there to help. American market is the most expensive market now, and therefore it's hard to find bargains, value investments. So, I'm always saying you might want to think of building another global pillar or value pillar. There might be some value in the US, but even if you get one idea that's traded in the US per year or per two years, that's worth the platform. A lot of comments of marketing. I've listened to Tony Robbins, things like that, a lot of the marketers. And if you're not promoting, you're not selling. And when I do five videos that I don't mention everything, the only difference on subscribers, on this, on that, is just I don't sell research platforms. And then, I get an email here and there. Sven, do you have anything to buy? And then I have to tell people. So, it's such a world and therefore allow for the marketing and I will try to give my values as much as possible, discuss stocks, but you have to accept that. And that's the fight also in the comments there. But, I appreciate the feedback. We'll keep on working, researching, giving value, building something. I figured if I expand my research as I'm doing now for my diversified portfolio, which is an educational portfolio, I'm investing 100K into it and from there I will certainly be able to give more value for YouTube. But, yes, the essence of what I do, the biggest value is on the research platform. I'm enjoying doing videos, sharing my opinion, learning from doing videos. So, for example, yesterday we did Flutter Entertainment, spend a few hours, research, read, learn more, and understand that in the process maybe somewhere in the future of the risk, connect things. So, it's great value for me doing videos. I hope it's value for you. I enjoy it, so we'll keep doing that. The plan going forward is to focus on research a little bit more. The book has been written. That will be published. We'll connect that to the value investing free course that you can enjoy again for free. Things like that, build on the diversified portfolio. That's the plan for the next academic year after the summer, and I hope you will enjoy it. I understand the comments. Keep on commenting. I know how the business works on YouTube, and that's why I'll keep also marketing, but I'll keep also giving value. Thanks for watching. Of course, check my research platform, and I'll see you in the next video.
