Video summary

The video presents an in-depth first look at the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, identified as stock number 27J2, which is noted as the very first unit of this model year available on the lot. The vehicle features a bright white clear coat exterior paired with a special color-matched hard top and insulated front pieces designed to enhance interior warmth and sound deadening. Under the hood lies the familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers fuel economy ratings of 17 MPG in the city and 22 on the highway. The review highlights several standard features for the Sahara package, including LED lighting systems across the front and rear, a seven-slot grille, trail-rated badges indicating the absence of traditional antennas in favor of windshield-mounted sensors, and the quick-disconnect door hinges that allow for easy removal without undoing bolts. Inside the cabin, the Wrangler offers McKinley leather seats with heating functions for both the driver and passenger, along with heated steering wheel and power-adjustable front seats. The dashboard features a leather-wrapped finish and houses a 12.3-inch touchscreen display running the Uconnect 5 system, which supports navigation powered by TomTom, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Alexa integration. Off-road capabilities are monitored through an integrated camera system that displays pitch, roll, altitude, and steering angle on the driver information screen, while dynamic grid lines in both the front trail cam and backup camera assist drivers in navigating rough terrain. Additional interior conveniences include a 115-volt power outlet, multiple USB charging ports, rear air vents, and fold-flat rear seats that maintain headrest positions when lowered to improve visibility for front occupants. The vehicle comes equipped with unique optional items that distinguish this specific unit, such as the 18-inch painted aluminum wheels with gray interiors and General Grabber AT tires in a 255/70 R18 size, which represent a new tire choice for the 2027 model year compared to previous years. The window sticker reveals that while many components like the Dana 44 rear axle and engine oil cooler are standard on the Sahara trim, certain options like the hard top headliner and all-weather floor mats carry specific costs, contributing to a total MSRP of $58,200 before destination charges. Safety and technology features are robust, including blind spot monitoring, cross-path detection, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry with remote start, and an automatic high-beam headlamp system that significantly improves visibility over older halogen setups. Overall, the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Sahara maintains its rugged heritage while incorporating modern updates like steel non-vented hoods to prevent corrosion and advanced driver assistance technologies. The reviewer emphasizes the brightness of the new LED lighting, the practicality of the quick-release doors and hard top, and the refined interior materials that make this model a compelling choice for both on-road comfort and off-road adventure. As Jeep continues to evolve the Wrangler lineup, this first look at the 2027 model showcases a blend of traditional design elements with contemporary features, setting the stage for what appears to be a highly anticipated update to one of America's most iconic SUVs.

Hey everybody, this is Brett providing you with the most in-depth and accurate 4K vehicle reviews and walkarounds on the internet. Thank you so much for choosing my video. I really appreciate it and I hope everybody's having a great day out there today. I'm having a great day cuz I get to do videos of some of the newest Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram inventory in the state of Wisconsin. And this one's definitely no exception. This is our very first 2027 Jeep Wrangler. This one has the Sahara package on it. Has a couple options on it as well. It has the color match hard top, the factory all-weather floor mats, and the special 18-in painted and finished aluminum wheels. This is stock number 27J2. I am here at Summit Auto, your new and used Jeep and Jeep Wrangler headquarters. Thank you everybody for checking out the video. Uh what I'm going to do in this video is go all the way around on this Jeep. We're going to take a look at the original window sticker, which you're also going to be able to follow along with in the uh comments below. I got a link to the original window sticker, so click that. Uh we're going to check out the original window sticker. I'm going to go over that at the end of the video. And I'm just going to give you the most accurate representation I can of this vehicle. Uh starting with the color. This is bright white clear coat. Paint code is PW7. Now guys, if you like the video and learn anything in the video, give me a like and subscribe on the YouTube channel. We're getting closer to 50,000 subscribers each and every day. We are super close. So, you could be the next 50,000th subscriber. Anyways, let's get right into it. This one has a 3.6 L dual overhead cam, V6 Pentastar engine. Very tried and trueue engine for Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram. And it is paired up with the 8-speed automatic transmission. It's going to get you 22 MPG highway, 17 city for an average of 19 m per gallon. So, the Sahara package is going to come standard with the color match fender flares. You also going to get standard the LED headlights, running lights, and fog lights. You also get this silver bezel trim on there as well on as on the seven slotted grill. And this one's going to come standard with the trail cam as well. So, the Sahara package standard, LED lights, trail cam, and the color match fender flares. So, the only thing I could really tell that is new for 2027 are the tires that they are putting on the Wranglers. Uh, at least on this particular one. This one has General Grabber AT tire tires. These are 25570 R18s. Kind of an all-terrain tread pattern to them. And uh I did not see these tires on any of the Wranglers that I looked at earlier or in the earlier in 2026. So I didn't see them on the 2026s. Now, they did make a different size General Grabber, but not this particular size. This one comes with these special painted and finished aluminum 18-in wheels. Uh you get the kind of gray painted insides with the aluminum lips on there. These were a $595 option on this particular Jeep. Um, of course, you get the trail rated badge because they don't have antennas anymore. They started doing that, I believe, last year or the year before. You have the antennas in the windshield now. You still have the Jeep climbing up the side. You still have the shroud with the uh sandals in it right there. Still the seven slots on that shroud. And they have continued without the bolts. So, these are the quick disconnect doors, which they came out with last year for 2026. They are really sweet. Basically, one little pin right here. You pull that out. It's a quick release. Then you do the electrical and the door pops right off. No need to undo any any bolts on those. We did a demo on how to take your quick release Wrangler doors off. That video is in the upper right hand part of screen and linked in the description below. You also get four-wheel disc brakes on the Wranglers. This one also has the LED tail lamps uh standard. I believe that comes with the cross pad detection system, which is standard on the Sahara package. You also get the backup parking sensors, of course. Of course, the matching spare tire and wheel there, and the optional color match hard top. So, this was an option on this Wrangler, and we'll get to that in just a little bit when we take a look at the original window sticker. So, here's your case for the front hard top pieces. Uh, standard on the Sahara package, at least right now, is the Alpine premium sound system with the subwoofer back here. This one does have the optional insulated hard top. So, you get these kind of carpeted pieces on the inside of the hard top. It really deadens the sound. It keeps it a lot warmer in here uh in winter. So, that's a pretty nice option. When I had my Wrangler, I wish I would have had that. Um, and it kind of darkens it a little bit from all the white uh finish. You can take these hard tops off. There's four bolts on each side. Two quick disconnects here. We did a demo on how to take your hard top off your JL Wrangler. our most popular video, over 500,000 views on that. So, that's in the upper right hand part of screen and linked in the description below. Get a nice storage area back here. You get the door hinge bolt holders, the roof bolt holders, and the windshield bolt holders. But wait, there's no more door hinge bolts. So, they still have not updated this for 2027. They're probably just trying to f um use up the remaining pieces of those. So, I'm guessing they'll probably update that pretty soon, maybe halfway through 2027. You get seven slots on the back door and the JL badge, which has not changed since the JL came out. You got wheelbase for the twodoor, four-door um overall length. And then you also have uh width and water foring on there as well. You get the Sahara block lettering on the gate there. That might be new. I don't know if I saw that. I'll have to go look at a 2026. Let me know if you guys know in the comments below. Also standard is the uh running boards on here. I like the blacked out Jeep lettering and the Wrangler lettering on the side. That looks good. You do have heated mirrors, blind spot monitoring in those mirrors. Inside you get the McKinley leather seats. Now, I did not see an upcharge for the leather seats, so I'm guessing the leather seats come standard on the Sahara. Now, you also have the topographical all-weather floor mats. Those are really cool. You get 115 volt 150 watt plug-in back here and two USBs and two USBC's. You get your rear air vents. These seats do fold down and they go like completely flat which is great if you have to haul a bunch of extra stuff. The other cool thing is that these headrests stay down. So you got better visibility if nobody's riding back here. Child safety system with the latch. Child door locks back here. Up front you get that same McKinley leather bucket seats. Both these front seats are power and both these front seats are heated standard with the Sahara package. Here is the tyran loading information sticker and the VIN sticker. And you get side current airbags. They also do the airbags on the uh bars up there. Lumbar all weather floor mats up here. You still get the Gladiator and the Wrangler back to back auto headlamps, tilt, telescop, extreme wheel. You get the gold kind of pin right there and power locks and power mirrors. The other thing I really like about the Sahara package is you get that leather wrapped dash as well. Let's uh hop inside here. Look at the instrument cluster radio. Nothing new in here other than you get the 7in LCD display, which is pretty much uh what they've been doing for a long time. Digital speedometer, uh leatherwrapped multi-function steering wheel, heated steering wheel, cruise controls, adaptive cruise controls on the right, Bluetooth and information center controls on the left. Get audio controls on the back of the steering wheel. I do not see the Gorilla Glass anymore. Uh, so maybe they have gone away from the Gorilla Glass on the Wrangler Sahara package standard. You also have the factory navigation system. This is uh powered by TomTom. You get AM, FM, and Sirius XM radio capabilities on here as well as Bluetooth, USB, and Alexa, and an AUG hookup. I'll show you that in just a second. You have your climate controls. You have all your different apps on here, including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay. can set up different driver profiles there as well. You have your off-road pages, which we'll check out in just a second. SOS, uh the rearview mirror camera or the rearview camera. And uh speaking of that, let's go to the off-road pages. Here you got pitch and roll, latitude, longitude, altitude, accessory gauges, and vehicle dynamics. Right there, if your transfer case is uh locked or unlocked, steering angle. As I turn the steering wheel, you can see that angle changes and the wheels actually turn, which is pretty cool, especially if you're doing some off-roading and stuff. And let's check out the see if I can show you the backup camera here. Now, they made these uh backup cameras crystal clear HD, and you got the grid lines right there. You also have the front trail cam and those grid lines are also dynamic. As you turn the steering wheel, you can see they change so you make sure you're not going to hit any rocks or logs or whatever you may be terraining over. And down here, your more tactile volume tune and climate controls, your start, stop capabilities, stability control, parking sensors, uh speed select crawl control. You also have your power windows, USB, USBC, auxj, four 4x4 shifter, and your 8-speed automatic transmission. keyless entry with remote start with the flipper key. Always really liked these key fobs. Nice and chunky. They fit right into your um cup holders right there. Once again, that leather wrapped dash is a really nice feature. There's the original window sticker. We're going to check that out in just a second, guys. And you get the insulated front hard top pieces along with that crushed eggshell finish design on there. Assistant SOS buttons, auto dimming mirror. You do get seven slots up there as well. I don't know if that's intentional uh to match the grill and the back door, but you got them. Home link buttons for your garage door security systems and lane systems. You still get that Jeep climbing up that windshield. And uh yeah, that's pretty much everything on this. Let's go check out the original window sticker and then we'll turn on all the lights and everything for our final walk around. Let's get to that window sticker. All right. You can see it also has the enterandgo system, guys. So, if you have the key fob in your pocket, it'll automatically unlock. Here is the original window sticker. Feel free to follow along with the link in the description below. Uh 2027 Wrangler four-door Sahara. Once again, our very first 2027 on the lot. Four-door Sahara, bright white, clear coats of color, McKinley trimmed seats, the 3.6 L Pentastar V6 engine, and the 8-speed automatic transmission. Everything on your left here is standard equipment, including the integrated off-road camera, automatic high-beam headlamp control, universal garage door opener, command track part-time four-wheel drive system, conventional direct differential, front axle with disconnect, full speed forward collision warning, plus park sense, rear park assist system, blind spot, and cross path detection. So, the blind spot is standard on the Sahara. advanced brake assist, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, security alarm, remote start, 21 and a half gallon fuel tank, and the enterandgo system also standard on the Sahara. You get the UK Connectnect 5, 12.3 in touchscreen display, automatic dimming rearview mirror, so the nav is standard on the Sahara package as well. Eightway power adjustable driver and passenger seat. Alpine premium sound system. The air conditioning with a dual climate control. Apple CarPlay. Google Android Auto. Sirius XM. Uh media hub with two charge only USB ports. 7-in display. Uh driver information display. Heated seats, heated steering wheel, premium wrap steering wheel, illuminated cup holders, and power front touch one touch down uh front windows. Front and rear floor mats. Side steps are standard. the 8 and 12 by 7 and 12 inch machine painted wheels. Uh which are not the wheels on this one. Uh those are standard. So these are just a little bit different design. Body color fender flares, body color grill, platinum silver rings, black sun rider soft top would be standard on this. Uh metal or full metal doors with quick quick release hinges, daytime running LED accent lamps. uh LED front fog lamps, LED premium reflector headlamps, LED tail lamps, automatic headlamps, power heated mirrors, molden color bumper with accent color, black fuel door, and then now your optional equipment. The 24G, which is the Sahara package, uh gives you the third generation heavy duty Dana 44 rear axle and the engine oil cooler, non-vented steel hood. So, they made these hoods now, guys, steel, so they do not corrode like the aluminum hoods were. Uh, so non-steel vented hood is now standard on these guys. The hard top headliner, which we looked at, is $655. The all-w weatherather floor mats are $170. And the 3.6 pentar is a $1,000 option upgrade. The three-piece body color hardtop is $2,195. And those wheels, like I said, are $595 option. Destination charge 1995. I think it's getting crazy with the destination charges, but that's uh I guess what happens. So 58,20 is your total MSRP to get your Summit price with all the rebates and incentives on this particular Jeep if it's still available. In the upper right hand part of screen and linked in the description below is a link to this vehicle on our website. So click that to get all your rebates and incentives for Summit 3ear 36 bumper-to-bumper and 5year 60 powertrain. Uh, and I believe with the flex care, if uh you're the original owner, that 5-year goes out to 100,000 powertrain. There your is your fuel economy, 22 highway, 17 city, average of 19. There's your greenhouse and small gradings. And it's not rated for safety ratings yet because it's not 2027 yet. And we have 2027 model years here. Anyways, so that is the original window sticker. Let's turn on all the lights on this Wrangler and turn off all the lights in the picture studio. I know everybody always likes that. So, give me a second to turn off all the lights in the picture studio and turn on the lights on the Wrangler. All right, guys. You can see just how bright these LED headlights, running lights, and fog lights are. I really applaud Jeep when they made these standard a couple years ago on pretty much all the trim levels uh because they are very bright and definitely a huge upgrade over those H hallogens that they used to have. You can see they also have a very wide field of vision for the lighting and that light is a very crisp white bright light on there. I also really like the tail lamps on the Wranglers. You get that hourglass design to them. They look really good and they are very bright. You also get the LED license plate light which if you got a vanity plate or something is a nice feature to show that off. And let's turn on all the lights here. We'll do one more final walk around on this particular Wrangler. And let me know what you guys think of this Wrangler in the comments below.
