Video summary

The video presents an in-depth 4K walkaround of a pristine 2017 Ford Explorer XLT Appearance Package available at Summit Auto, highlighting its exceptional condition despite having traveled through Canada, Arkansas, and Wisconsin. This seven-passenger SUV is finished in Oxford White with paint code Z1 and features the twin-panel Vista roof along with the tow group package. The vehicle is powered by a robust 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 290 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission to achieve an average fuel economy of 19 MPG. Before presenting the car for sale, it underwent a comprehensive safety inspection at the dealership's service shop, receiving fresh oil changes, fluid top-offs, and brand new rear brake pads and rotors to ensure it is fully ready for immediate use. Exterior examination reveals that the Oxford White paint remains highly reflective with no major dents or scratches on the fenders, hood, or doors, while the 20-inch granite crystal alloy wheels are fitted with Michelin Defender 2 tires that still retain approximately 85% of their original tread depth. The front and rear bumpers show minimal wear, featuring LED headlights, fog lights, running lights, parking sensors, and a chrome-tipped dual exhaust system at the back. Practical towing capabilities are evident through the included receiver hitch with four- and seven-pin wiring harnesses covered by protective caps, while the manual liftgate operates smoothly to reveal a spacious cargo area where all three rows of seats can be folded down completely flat for maximum utility. Moving inside the cabin, buyers find a well-maintained interior featuring black leather bucket seats in the front with suede bolsters and heated functionality, alongside a second-row bench seat that accommodates passengers comfortably before leading to two individual captain's chairs in the third row. The dashboard houses an 8-inch SYNC infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration without needing factory navigation, while climate controls manage dual-zone temperature settings along with terrain modes like Mud/Ruts or Snow/Grass. Additional interior amenities include power sunroof controls, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, child safety locks on the doors, and all-weather floor mats that keep the cabin smelling fresh despite its 71,660 miles of usage. Under the hood, the engine bay is described as extremely clean with no check engine lights or warning indicators upon startup, reinforcing the claim that this vehicle has been meticulously cared for over its lifetime. The presenter emphasizes how high-definition video allows potential buyers to inspect every detail remotely before visiting in person, eliminating surprises and enabling informed purchasing decisions from anywhere in the world. With excellent tires, updated brakes, a clean title history, and extensive equipment including blind-spot monitoring and remote start capabilities, this Explorer is positioned as an outstanding value for those seeking a reliable family SUV that combines rugged capability with refined comfort.

This is a clean title history. Clean Carfax, previously titled in Canada, Arkansas, and Wisconsin. Speaking of Canada, Arkansas, and Wisconsin, if you're watching the video on YouTube, let me know in the comments below where you're watching the video from. I always love seeing where our viewers, subscribers, and future subscribers are watching from. And if you're new to the videos in the channel, welcome. Thank you so much for joining us. What I'm going to do is go all the way around on this Explorer. We're going to go inside, start it up, take a look under the hood. I'm going to show you all the options and give you the most accurate representation I can of this vehicle. Starting with the wheels, you get the 20-in kind of a granite crystal, maybe magnetic is what Ford calls that, uh, painted alloys, and they got a lot of metal flake to them. They're in pretty nice shape. And, uh, didn't see any major scuffs or scrapes on there. Does have Michelin Defender 2 tires. These are 25550 R20s. And these tires got a good amount of tread left. I would say probably 80 90% of the tread left on those front tires. They are in really nice shape. Front fender is in excellent condition. I didn't see any major dents or dings on there. Does have the LED headlights, running lights, and fog lights. I will turn those on at the end of the video so you can see just how bright they are because they are pretty bright. Get the front bumper parking sensors. And the front bumper itself is in fantastic condition. I didn't see any scuffs, scrapes, cracks, or anything. looks really, really good, as does the grill. The hood is in nice shape as well. Comes with a nice bug shield, too. Didn't see any dents or dings on the hood. And the passenger side front fender is in excellent condition as well. Passenger side front wheel. No major scuffs or scrapes on there. This color is called Oxford White. The paint code for Oxford White is Z1. And as you go down this side of this 2017 Ford Explorer XLT appearance package, take note of how clean the body is, how reflective and mirror-l like that paint is. Take these HD videos so if you are far away or even if you're close by and you just cannot make the trip down, but you're still interested in purchasing the vehicle, you can see the vehicle, hear the vehicle, and have confidence in what you're looking at before you even get here. So, when you do get here, there's absolutely no surprises, and you can make a smart and informed buying decision from wherever you're at. You see, we got brand new brakes in the back here, pads and rotors, and this back wheels in really nice condition as well. And the back tires have just as much tread as the front tires. Michelin Defender 2. Those are some really, really nice tires on here, guys. And like new. Has a capless fuel fill. Looks like it's E85 compatible. And coming around to the back of the vehicle, the rear bumper is in really nice shape. You can see the towing package here. You get the receiver hitch, four pin and seven pin wiring. We do have the cover for that. Has the backup parking sensors and the chrome tipped dual rear exhaust. The rear gate is in really nice condition. Now, this is a manual raise gate. And the back storage area is in very nice condition. There's your cover for that receiver hitch. I like keeping them inside so they don't go missing. And you can put these seats down completely flat. So, let me show you how to do that. Hopefully, I can do it with one hand here. Uh, you just pull this strap, which which puts the headrest down. And then you pull this strap right here. And you can push that down. And now we just need to pull this strap right here on the bottom and lift up. And she flips close. So, pretty easy to do. I was able to do it with one hand. It's trickier with one hand, but to get them up, you just kind of pull that lever, give it a flip. Now, we just have to pull the red strap and pull that back and you're all set to go. Shocks are doing a great job holding that rear hatch up. And to get it closed, just give it a light push. Coming down the driver's side, you can see those LED tail lamps are really good looking as well. Didn't see any major dents or dings on the rear quarter or rear door. And for full disclosure, this back wheel is in pretty nice shape as well. And down the rest of this side of the Explorer, driver's side doors are in nice shape. Does have the heated power mirrors, blind spot mirrors, built-in directional signals. This one has the driver's side door code entry. We do have the code for this Explorer if you ever want to figure out what your 17 to I think 19 Explorer door code is. Got a video showing you how to find that in the upper right hand part of screen. Now inside the XLT appearance package also gives you the suede and leather interior. Second row bench seating on this one. These seats are in fantastic condition. Very very clean where I just touched it there. Um, get rear air controls, 12volt power point, factory all-weather floor mats back here as well. And these seats fold down like so. And then the third row two-seater. Those seats are in fantastic condition as well. Smells very clean inside this Explorer. Now, you can get these seats up. Uh, basically you have to lift this. Takes two hands here. But there you go. You can see how those go up and then you can get to that third row pretty easy. And then they go back down like so. And up like that. Inside of the door looks really good. And you do get child safety locks right there. And the bottoms of the doors look pretty good as well. Here's the VIN sticker and the tire and loading information sticker. Up front, the XLT appearance package once again gives you the black leather and gray suede bucket seats. Both of these front seats are heated. No rips, no tears, side current airbags, driver side lumbar, factory all-w weather floor mats up here. You do have tow mode, tilt, telescopic steering wheel, auto headlamps, fog lights, power windows, locks, and mirrors. You even get a suede bolster on the door there. Let's hop inside, check out the miles, the radio, and everything that this one has to offer on the interior. All right, you can see that this one has 71,660 miles on it. Instrument cluster is very nice and clean. You get the dual display modes there. Comes with the leatherwrapped multi-function steering wheel. On the right, we got Bluetooth and volume controls, information center controls for that screen, information center controls for that screen, and cruise controls on the left. This one has the sync 8 in radio. You do get AM, FM, and Sirius XM radio capabilities. This one does have a CD player and Bluetooth. You get your climate controls here, which includes the dual climate controls. You have your apps and then all your other apps. um mobile apps there, 911 assist, and then this one has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. So, while it doesn't have the factory navigation system, project your cell phone up there with Ways or Google Maps, and it's like you got nav on the screen, so not a big deal that doesn't have the factory nav. Uh I don't know if I can put in There we go. There's your backup camera, and that is working nicely. Down here, your more tactile volume tune and climate controls, including your heated seat buttons. And then you have your select terrain. So you have uh mud rut mode. You also have sand mode and snow gravel grass mode. And then of course downhill assist control there as well. Here's your keyless entry with the remote start. And the passenger side dash floor mat and seat all in excellent condition as well. You get the second row fixed glass and the power sunroof in front. The uh headliner is in really nice clean condition as well. You get map lights up there, too. And your sunroof and sun shade controls. Auto- dimming rearview mirror. And the windshield is in excellent condition. I didn't see any major chips or cracks on there. Let's start it up and take a look under the hood and check out all those LED lights. Starts right up. No check engine lights or anything like that. I would personally like to thank you for checking out the video today. And hopefully from this HD video, you've been able to verify the quality, condition, options, and of course, cleanliness of this Explorer inside out.
