2005 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 3LT DAYTONA SUNSET ORANGE 4K WALKAROUND 16626ZA
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
This 4K walkaround features a pristine 2005 Chevrolet Corvette convertible with stock number 16626ZA, presented by Brett from Summit Auto in Wisconsin. The vehicle is powered by the robust 6-liter LS2 V8 engine delivering 400 horsepower and 400 foot-pounds of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission that achieves an average fuel economy of 19 miles per gallon. Having undergone a comprehensive safety inspection at Summit Auto's service shop, the car has received fresh oil changes, topped-off fluids, four brand-new Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, and is described as being in exceptional mechanical condition ready for immediate use.
The exterior highlights include the rare Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic paint code 71U, a color that was available on only 602 convertibles out of nearly 3,000 total Corvettes produced with this specific hue in 2005. The bodywork is remarkably clean with excellent condition across all panels, featuring polished aluminum wheels—18 inches at the front and larger 19-inch rims at the rear equipped with cross-drilled rotors—and a soft top that shows no rips or tears. Minor cosmetic notes include a single tiny imperfection on the hood and some aftermarket cold air intake components in the engine bay, but overall the paint reflects beautifully without signs of delamination or significant wear.
Inside the cabin, the preferred equipment group 3LT package is fully utilized with black leather bucket seats that are heated, power-adjustable, and free from tears or rips. The interior amenities include a head-up display showing a digital speedometer, Bose premium sound system, factory navigation running on Highway 41, HomeLink garage controls, memory driver seat settings, and dual climate control zones. With just over 16,000 miles on the odometer, the instrument cluster remains very clean, the leather-wrapped steering wheel is in great shape, and the overall atmosphere inside smells fresh with no visible chips or cracks in the windshield.
The video concludes by showcasing the car's solid build quality as demonstrated when lowering the convertible top smoothly into place and listening to the deep tone of the Borla chrome-tipped dual rear exhaust system. Brett emphasizes that this two-owner vehicle has a clean Carfax history from Wisconsin and represents one of the rarest colored Corvettes available, making it an attractive option for collectors or enthusiasts seeking a well-maintained example. Viewers are directed to Summit Auto's website for full photo galleries and descriptions alongside their extensive inventory of new and used sports cars, trucks, SUVs, and other classic models like Camaros and Mustangs.

Hey everybody, this is Brett, providing
you with the most in-depth and accurate
4K vehicle reviews on the internet.
Thank you so much for choosing my video.
Hopefully you're having a great day
today. I'm having a great day because I
get to do videos of some of the
best-looking and cleanest Corvettes in
the state of Wisconsin, including some
of the rarest colored Corvettes. And
this one is no exception. This is a 2005
Chevrolet Corvette
3LT convertible. It is stock number
16626ZA.
I am here at Summit Auto, your new and
used sports car headquarters. This 2005
Chevrolet Corvette has a 6-liter V8 LS2
engine, puts out 400 horsepower, 400
foot-pounds of torque. It is paired up
with a 6-speed manual transmission.
And this car
is going to get you 28 miles per gallon
highway, 18 city, for an average of 19
miles per gallon. This car has been
fully safety done and inspected by our
service shop, has a fresh oil and filter
change. All the fluids have been checked
and topped off. It has four brand new
tires, and this car is 100% ready to go.
Really a great-looking color. Now, I
shoot all my videos in 4K, guys, so if
you have HD capabilities on your
computer, tablet, or smartphone, I
recommend turning them on now because it
is your best way to check out the
quality and condition of the car before
seeing it in person. Let's get started.
Now, believe it or not, this is a
two-owner, clean title history, clean
Carfax from right here in Wisconsin. And
speaking of Wisconsin, if you're
watching the video on YouTube, let me
know in the comments below where you're
watching the video from. I always love
seeing where our viewers, subscribers,
and future subscribers are watching
from. And if you are new to the videos
and the channel, welcome. Thank you so
much for joining us. What I'm going to
do in this video is go all the way
around on this car. We're going to go
inside, start it up, take a look under
the hood. I'm going to show you all the
options. We're going to check out the
original window sticker, and I'm going
to give you the most accurate
representation I can of this vehicle
starting with the wheels. In the front
here, we have the 18-in polished
aluminum wheels. They look really good.
You get the cross-drilled rotors on
there. And this one has brand-new
Goodyear Eagle F1 all-season tires. In
the front, we have 245 40
ZR18s.
They still have the little wear lines on
there from being brand-new. We put those
on in our safety inspection. The front
fender is in excellent condition. I
didn't see any scuffs or scrapes on
there. The headlight lenses are nice and
clear. I didn't see any delamination
or crazing or anything like that on
there. They look really good.
No micro-cracks. The front bumper is in
excellent condition as well.
It has those nice inserts on there. That
looks really good. I didn't see any
dents, dings, scuffs, or scrapes. The
hood is in nice condition as well.
Only one tiny little imperfection on the
hood, which is right there. And really,
that's the only thing I saw on the car
um as far as that I had to note because
otherwise, this car is super clean.
Passenger side front fender is in
excellent shape. And the passenger side
front wheel, no major scuffs or scrapes
on there. Now, like I said guys, this is
an amazing color. This is sunset
Daytona sunset orange metallic.
Check out all that metal flake in there.
And the paint code on this one is 71U.
And you can really just see how nice
that paint is
and how reflective it is as well.
So, they only made
um a couple of these. They made 2,981
Daytona sunset orange metallic Corvettes
in 2005.
Of that, 2,379
were coupes and only 602
were convertibles. So, this one is one
of 602
Daytona Sunset Orange convertibles out
there, guys. And she's in really nice
shape.
Passenger side looks pretty good.
This back wheel, you get the 19-in
wheels.
No scuffs or scrapes on there. And the
back tires are the same Goodyear Eagles,
but they're 285 35 ZR19s. They're brand
new as well.
And
underbody of this car is exceptionally
clean.
And honestly, most Corvettes
look like that underneath.
You can see the soft top's in excellent
shape as well. I didn't see any rips or
tears on there. You always got to look
right here on these particular models.
Uh but this soft top looks great. The
glass looks like it's firmly intact.
Coming around to the back.
Rear bumper area is in excellent
condition. This one has Borla
chrome-tipped dual rear exhaust.
This thing sounds really good. The rear
bumper is in great shape as well.
And back here we have the original
window sticker as well as a car cover.
We do have some of the original air
intake stuff here as well. Here's the
original window sticker.
You can see this one has the preferred
equipment group, which is the 3LT
package. Gives you head-up display,
Homelink, memory package, auto-dimming,
heated seats. This one has the power
convertible top, which was $1,995. This
one has the magnetic selective ride
control, $1,695.
The Bose premium sound, $1,600. SiriusXM
radio. Um the polished aluminum wheels
were a $1,295 option. And this one MSRP
was 62 110 back way back in 2005.
There are miles per gallon.
And uh
looks like more air intake stuff back
here as well.
Um, different mass airflow sensor, all
that good stuff. Shocks do a nice job
pulling that trunk lid up.
And that shuts
nice and solidly. The rear
trunk lid is in excellent shape. I
didn't see any scuffs or scrapes on
there. Coming around to the driver side,
just as clean as that passenger side.
No scuffs or scrapes on the rear quarter
and for full disclosure this back wheel
is in excellent condition as well. And
you'll notice that you get the cross
drilled rotors back here, too.
Down the rest of the side, driver side
door, fantastic condition. You do get
power mirrors.
Inside,
this one has the preferred equipment
group
with the 3LT package. You get the black
leather bucket seats.
No rips, no tears on those seats.
They're in fantastic condition. Side
curtain airbags.
You can see the
bolsters in really nice shape. Both
these front seats are heated and power.
You get some nice Lloyd mat floor mats
there.
There is your power top down button,
your information controls for the head
up display,
um, memory driver seat, lock, power
windows, power mirrors, the Bose premium
sound system. You get a really nice
chromed out Corvette kick plate there.
Here is the VIN sticker.
Let's hop inside, start it up, take a
look
at the miles and the radio and
everything that this one has to offer on
the interior.
>> Starts right up. No check engine lights
or anything like that. You can see this
one has 16,211
miles on it. Instrument cluster is very
nice and clean. Comes with the leather
wrapped steering wheel. That is in
excellent condition as well. And this
one has the Chevy infotainment system.
You do get AM, FM, [clears throat] and
SiriusXM radio capabilities. It also has
the factory navigation system right
there. There's Highway 41, so that is
working nicely. And if you wanted to put
a CD in there, you could put that down.
There's your CD player and that's where
you put in the nav disc,
which this one has. Down here your
climate controls, including your dual
climate controls, your heated seat
buttons, and your six-speed manual
transmission. This one has the selective
ride with the tour and sport modes, and
the stability control there. You can see
they got all the color-match center
console there as well. There's also a
license plate order for the back.
That is color-matched as well, and the
passenger side seat is in excellent
condition as well. I didn't see any rips
or tears on there. Smells very clean
inside this car. The inside of the soft
top is in fantastic condition as well.
And you do get HomeLink buttons for your
garage door security systems and
lighting systems, compass display in
that mirror.
The windshield is in fantastic
condition. I didn't see any chips or
cracks on that.
And that looks really good.
Did want to show you the head-up display
right there. You got the digital
speedometer, so that's pretty nice.
And let's put the top down.
And then we'll take a under the hood and
do a final walk around with the top down
and all the lights on. So, all you got
to do is turn this and kind of press it
up to let the car know that
it's up.
And then you just press the down button
for the top down
and it starts going.
Always want to make sure that these tops
are working properly.
And then it clicks.
All right, let's go take a look under
the hood
and check out those HID lights.
I would personally like to thank you for
checking out the video today and
hopefully from this HD video

Under the hood we have these 6-liter

Once again, this car has been fully
safety and inspected by our service
shop, has a fresh oil and filter change,
all the fluids have been checked and
topped off.
