100 Packs Of DRAGON MASTER MAGIA Tortures Me Slowly!

Today we see just how bad it is to open 100 packs for Dragon Master Mia. I'm screwed. >> Welcome back everyone. We are here with another Majia video, but it's not just any other Mijia video. I'm actually sort of rebooting this in a way so that you guys can see exactly how expensive this series can be. So, starting in today's Mijia hunt up until we pull the Starlight Extended Art Masia, I'm going to be showing our net profit on the packs opened the whole time. So, we're going to start at the number that was the cost of these boxes, which is fairly expensive. And then we're going to add back the value as we go. And if I get into the positive, we'll start at a positive number next time. If I'm negative, we're just going to keep showing how much of a hole we're in. I think that's probably the direction we're going to end up going. If we end up pulling it, you know, before we lose 1,200 bucks, I think then we break even cuz Mia is a $1,200 cardish. It tortured me in Battles of Legend Terminal Revenge. Konami brought it back to torture me in Stampede. It wasn't as bad in Stampede because, well, Stampede did torture me. So if you think about it, Mia did torture me as well. So every set that's had Amasia has tortured me. So I think it actually does line up pretty well. And then in this set, Battles of Legend Glorious Gallery, we are also looking for Amasia. So some people I know some people are probably like, "Oh man, I think some people are getting tired of like full art openings as we've done a lot of them recently." So, individually, they're not as much, but if they go together, they can be I usually sell them as a lot. Uh, if I can get all 10 of them, which I'm opening a lot of these packs. So, I am going to put the total number of packs we've opened, I think, on the next video cuz I still have to go through. I didn't like keep the spreadsheet as well as I should have. So, I actually got to go back to all the videos and do math. Oh. Oh. Oh, wait. Maybe we need to know the number. Maybe this is it. So, the thing about the Majora, it's Starlight extended art is what we need. So, we don't need just a Starlight because there isn't a Starlight of it. We don't need just an extended art. All right. All right. That's a good one. That's a good one. It's not an extended art, but it is a chibi. And I do like the chibi. And it is the starlight. It's got a little like dot right there that would probably come off. But uh centering looks really good. How the corners look. This honestly looks super strong. Looks like a super strong uh PCG gradable card because, you know, I do have actually have some PCG things coming back because they had a whole thing. They're going to have like an announcement about, you know, centering adjustments and stuff like that. And I think they have a special code coming up. I think you guys can you can try it now. I think it's going to be actually I don't know if it's out yet, so I won't announce it yet, but there is going to be a code where you guys can do if you're thinking about doing PCG uh express at regular level. So, $20 express service. So, I'll be announcing that in my next uh PCG return. So, that'll be a limited time thing. But, if you do have something and you want to send it like super fast, it'll be only $20 a card. So, very, very nice. That's like bulk level PSA cost to get them back express level. So, that's going to be pretty sick. And I hope with the new adjustments, uh it seems like they're going to really help with like if you're getting killed on centering like I do sometimes, these are going to help and make it more reasonable. But, I I did get a preview already. He was uh one of my one of my guys at PCG was like, "Yeah, that rarity 5 set was pretty bad print quality, huh?" And I was like, "That's not a good sign for my [laughter] for my return." He was like, "No, it's not." But so I'm like, "Okay, but I have like five returns there." So it was not going to be all of them, I don't think. Cuz I have some OCG stuff. I've got my my serialized card I think is going to be coming back pretty soon. They were like, "Yeah, it is going to be coming back soon. We're working on everything because we've had a big rush of orders with PSA closing down." I'm like, "No worries." I mean, I'm not in a huge rush. And I mean, it's not going to take nine months like PSA is right now. So, that's good, I guess. Okay, we have Dragund Remis. I think I saw PSA was at the national and they had to shut down their on site cuz no matter what, like PSA is still the craziest demand. Like, people still want they're going to grade their cards with PSA. Doesn't matter if it's $80 level, super express level, like they're going to submit them. there there's just so many high-end cards right now and it's like when it's PSA graded it becomes $800,000 as a Pokemon card or a sports card that I mean why would you not for you know the the that level I guess so with Yu-Gi-Oh it's a little bit harder to make happen because we don't have those super high level of cards as much as like Pokemon sports etc so $80 becomes like a pretty big commitment for a grade so I think that's I I understand why they're still getting crazy demand even throughout, you know, there being of course some some crap going on. But there's a pyramid turtle junk armor. And nowadays they have that new service. I don't remember what it's called, but like they grade your grade. Have you guys seen this? There's like PSA, but then like there's another thing that grades how strong your card is. Like is it a strong nine or a strong 10? And it'll like tell you actually this is a strong nine or this is a a weak nine or whatever. or this 10 is actually deserves a 10 or this would be a black label 10 or Yeah, cuz they'll like some people like pregrade it too. It's crazy. The grading thing has gone to another level. I kind of understand that though with with grading there's so much like week 10 uh check out that the 2000 2 million s it must be a fake 10 or whatever. And it's like you can't obviously you can't just pick an era because just because it was in that era like let's say I graded it 20 years ago like a lot of times they'd give a lot of tens then that doesn't mean that every card graded was a weak 10 because there were mintier cards back then. So you'd think like back then there was a lot more minty cards. So it there would actually be a better chance of having a high grade. But then they're like well it was easier to grade. So really you have to go by a card bycard basis as always which some people seem to forget. They're like no it's a whatever search. So that means it's automatically a fake 10. So, I kind of get the the demand for like the second grading of the grading. It's a little ridiculous. Uh, honestly, just having so many different levels, but I get it because you want to know, is the 10 I'm buying for $5,000 a real 10 or is it actually a nine or whatever. So, I totally understand it, but uh also it we're getting to a point of like almost irony with what with what's going on with with graded cards, right? It's like, yeah, we grade our cards, they become very expensive, and then we double grade them. So, then they said that the grade that we got was actually correct. You know, it's pretty wild. So, yeah, it is what it is. Uh, you guys know I love grading, so I I've always been a fan of it, but even I can see we're getting to a point of weirdness for sure. Okay, so let's keep going. So, that that's one thing about like I don't why am I talking about the grading so much? We're not even grading cards right now. But uh with with the PSA and the other ones like SCGC now they just do like the one grade. It's just so much harder to really explain. You know, you only have 10 numbers. When you have the subgrades, you have so many more numbers and it gives you a much better story of what what's up with the card. But when you have one or 10 total numbers, you can give them one uh to explain their card. It's like such a big range in there, you know? It is tough cuz like a nine that's like almost an eight versus a nine that's almost a 10. Pretty big difference there. And you know, same with all the other numbers. There is a first full art of the day. So, we've gotten a Starlight and a full art. This has been a great opening for uh full art week. If you guys missed that, go check it out. And I'm probably going to be trying to hire somebody soon hopefully to help me uh because I have my brother, but he, you know, goes to college and so he will be gone soon. And then I will be again swamped, which I'm already swamped with him here. So hopefully that can happen. I'm going to hopefully get some way for people to like say they're interested, etc. And hiring is such a nightmare. Uh I've only done it for editors, but it is a complete crapshoot most of the time. But I'm hoping to find somebody awesome and then, you know, they can help me. They can even like we can help me with like having two people to record stuff like when I go places. It'll be great. You know, there's just a lot of potential things that I could need. So, yeah. Hopefully that will happen and [music] uh go smoothly and everything. Uh feel like my camera needs to be uh cleaned off cuz it's kind of I don't know, maybe that's just the reflection. Actually looks pretty good. So, it's when I can always tell it's a little blurry is what is on the edge of these. It's kind of foggy, you know. It's not too bad though. But I am thinking about like doing a real camera too. Like another real camera instead of a phone just cuz like the iPhones I feel like the cameras are more annoying now. They're probably better but they're not as easy. Before it would they would easily focus and like I could tap on there it would manually focus. Now it does not manually focus at all. And I hate not having that option. It's like you can tap on the screen but it ain't going to do anything. Okay, what else do we have? Summon skull. Chibi summon skull. Took us 10 years to pull that. All right. But a lot of times, the problem is the lighting. Like, if you go like this, it's a little dark, so you kind of have to angle them up, but it kind of works like that. Looks pretty good. Give it a little uh slight lighting. Tell. Okay. Yeah, I always have to move. Uh, whenever I move, I have change up my setup a little bit and a little bit and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Another chibi. We're getting a bunch of chibiies today, which is fantastic. Uh, yeah, reminder about the whatnot. Yeah, Friday. It's going to be insane. I have a lot of old school stuff that I bought at the collect, not collect, Gen Con. Uh, and a lot of that and a collection I bought recently. So, we're going to be doing a lot of vintage singles, like a lot of classic stuff, cheaper, expensive, like we have all varieties. It goes from there's Junk M. It's like a $10 card last time I checked. So, that should add a little bit of value. But, there is a lot of stuff there and we're just going to sell it all and whatnot.
