Video summary
The video presents a defense of Islamic jurisprudence regarding witness testimony, specifically addressing the Quranic instruction that two female witnesses are required to equal the testimony of one male in legal matters. The speaker argues that this rule is not rooted in misogyny but rather in sociological realities and the need for balance between genders. He suggests that in scenarios where a man and a woman testify against each other, there is a risk of the man overpowering the woman or pressuring her into giving false testimony due to power dynamics, such as those found in workplace harassment cases. Consequently, having two women ensures that if one errs or is intimidated, the other can correct her, thereby providing a more robust and fair legal outcome than a single male witness could offer against a female accuser.
To support this argument, the speaker cites a Hadith where the Prophet Muhammad addresses the perceived deficiency in women's intelligence and religion, linking the need for two female witnesses to a difference in intellectual capacity rather than inherent inferiority. He explains that the "deficiency" mentioned is specifically related to the fact that women cannot fast or pray during menstruation, which affects their religious practice, while the requirement for two witnesses addresses the specific context of legal testimony and memory retention. The speaker contrasts this with certain passages in the Bible, such as Timothy 2:11-12, which he claims explicitly forbids women from teaching or holding authority over men, arguing that Islam offers a more balanced perspective that acknowledges fundamental differences between men and women without resorting to idealism or denying biological and psychological realities.
Throughout the video, the speaker emphasizes the importance of realism over comfort, using analogies like bodybuilding and dieting to illustrate that truth often involves difficult truths rather than fairy tales. He critiques ideologies like veganism for ignoring the natural reality of death in the ecosystem and similarly criticizes modern liberal views that ignore fundamental gender differences, suggesting that denying these realities leads to suffering and societal dysfunction. He asserts that accepting these differences is necessary for a stable family structure where men lead and women follow, arguing that when society tries to force equality by ignoring these distinctions, it leads to confusion, competition between genders, and the breakdown of traditional family units.
The speaker concludes by framing these Islamic teachings as proof of the religion's honesty and its refusal to whitewash uncomfortable truths for the sake of comfort. He encourages viewers to embrace realism even when it is difficult, stating that if something feels uncomfortable, it may actually be closer to the truth. The video ends with a promotion for the "Just Pray" app, which he describes as a superior tool for tracking prayers and fostering spiritual accountability through gamification and community features, before asking viewers to subscribe and support charitable causes in Sudan and Syria.

Hey, you can hate it as much as you want
to, but you cannot deny it. Yeah, this
is the perfect example. [laughter]
Proof of Islam. You had two women, 100%
confident. Even one woman said there,
"Yes, I read the book three times. I
loved it. I'm certain [laughter]
two female witnesses against one male."
[laughter] Who got it right? Just Pray
is the only app out there that tracks
every single of your prayers and it
stops every other app when it's time to
pray. That means no more checking
messages, no more doom scrolling when
it's time to pray. I didn't partner with
any other app for one simple reason.
They're not habit forming. I would
download an app, use it for 2 minutes.
After that, I would get bombarded by
ads, close it, and never open it again.
Just prays in a completely different
league. It notifies you before your
prayer, manages the time window, tracks
your delays, and documents your
spiritual journey. On top of that, they
have an amazing gamified interface where
every prayer grows your garden. You can
literally see your progress. Additional
to that, it has the function of the
prayer circles where you can pray
together with friends and family. You
can stay accountable and see who prayed
or not. All right, guys. Welcome back to
the channel. If you're new, my name is
Bobby. Guys, often times we hear this.
Oh, Islam is so misogynistic. Islam is
against females. It's against women. It
is so oppressive. Have you seen the
surah where it speaks about two female
witnesses? Yep. I'm not here to
whitewash anything. Quite the opposite.
I proudly present surah al bakar and
bring to witness two witnesses from
among your men. And if there are not two
men available, then one man and two
women from those whom you accept as
witnesses, so that if one of the woman
errors, then the other can remind her. A
quick interjection here. I find it so
hypocritical, of course, when Christians
tell you that this is somehow
misogynistic and so against women, of
course. Meanwhile, here in the Bible,
Timothy 2:11-12, we read, "A woman
should learn in quietness and full
submission. I do not permit a woman to
teach or to assume authority over a man,
she must be quiet." So, that's nice,
dear Christians, but let's complain
about the Quran. Anyways, yes, it is
true. As Muslims, we do believe when it
comes down to legal issues, this is what
this sura is talking about. You should
take two men as witnesses first and
foremost. But if you cannot, then one
man will be replaced by two women. This
of course has many reasons, sociological
reasons as well. I mean just think about
it. If you just have one male and one
female witness, it could come to the
scenario where the man is overpowering
the woman and therefore there is an
oppressive situation where the testimony
of the woman isn't even taken into
consideration. Maybe the woman will get
pressured into making a specific
witness. I mean, look at certain cases
when it comes down to the work
environment. How often do women speak
out that their boss oppressed them? They
were alone with their boss and then
their boss put them in an uncomfortable
situation potentially even a sexual
situation etc. Therefore, it is better
for the women to outnumber the man here.
2 versus one. Sah al Bkari 304. Kind of
funny that the number is 30 or four.
Once Allah's messenger sallallahu alaihi
wasallam went out to the Musah to offer
the prayer of or prayer. Then he passed
by the women and said, "Oh women give
arms as I have seen that the majority of
the dwellers of hell fire were you
women." That's another hadith as well
where the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam actually sees that the majority
of the inhabitants of hell are indeed
women ungrateful women that is. They
asked why is it so or Allah's messenger?
He replied you curse frequently and are
ungrateful to your husbands. Exactly.
I've [snorts] not seen anyone more
deficient in intelligence and religion
dean than you. A cautious sensible man
could be led astray by some of you. The
woman asked, "Oh Allah's messenger, what
is deficient in our intelligence and
religion?" He said, "Is it not the
evidence of two women equal to the
witness of one man?" They replied in the
affirmative. He said, "This is the
deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it
true that a woman can neither pray nor
fast during her menses?" The women
replied in the affirmative. He said,
"This is the deficiency in her
religion." So now many scholars and nai
I believe as well mention that this
hadith is explicitly about the
deficiency in religion and about the
period so therefore women cannot
properly fast etc etc but here we can
see that the answer of the prophet is
actually split in half. So he addresses
religion, he addresses the dean once and
then he addresses intelligence
particularly. So when it comes down to
the deficiency in religion, he points
out the menstruation period. So through
that the woman cannot pray properly and
therefore there is a deficiency in
religion already. This it case closed.
But when it comes down that two women
are equal to the witness of one man, he
replies that this is about the
deficiency in her intelligence. And I
already hear all the feminists crying
here and the females as well. But this
is Saki. Anyways, it wouldn't be
perspective if we wouldn't make this
humorous. So, let's have a look.
Foreign
speech. Foreign speech. Foreign speech.

Hey, you can hate it as much as you want
to, but you cannot deny it. Yeah, this
is the perfect example. [laughter]
Proof of Islam. You had two women 100%
confident. Even one woman said there,
"Yes, I read the book three times. I
loved it. I'm certain."
Two female witnesses against one male.
[laughter] Who got it right? What led me
to Islam is the shattering of illusions.
I love realism. When it comes down to
Christianity, for example, and this is
not a mock on Christianity, but this is
why I certainly couldn't have been a
Christian long term. Christianity is
about idealism. It is about pacifism. I
am peace loving. I absolutely love
peace. It is amazing. However, it is
unrealistic. In order for us to enjoy
peace, somewhere else, you have war. The
reason why America can be peaceful is
because they have war otherwise because
they have a big army, the biggest army
in the world as for right now. They have
great violent power and therefore
they're maintaining peace. This is the
reality of this world. Even for you to
enjoy your food today, some animal need
to die, etc., etc. So realism, this
really what it boils down to. When I was
looking into religion, I wasn't looking
for a fairy tale, some feel-good story.
I was looking for the truth. And the
truth often times is uncomfortable.
Matter of fact, I would make the claim
that if you see that something is
uncomfortable, maybe you're actually
getting closer to the truth here. I
always give you bodybuilding examples
from back in the day when Uncle Bobby
was still young. Of course, it is much
more comfortable to simply sit on your
couch, watch TV, eat hamburgers, just
enjoy your life. But like this, you're
not going to accomplish anything. You're
not going to build a good body. You have
to actually motivate yourself and get
into the gym and get the work done. So
this might not be comfortable, but it is
true if you want to build a body. And so
when it comes down to religious truths,
we're talking about a god that created
the universe with everything that you
see around yourself, be it good, be it
evil, be it violent, be it peaceful, and
everything in between. So therefore, to
simply think, oh well, God is just this
loveydovey super loving character, this
bubble of joy, and he sent his son to be
sacrificed for our sins. Hallelujah. All
in the name of Jesus. Just doesn't work.
And as I pointed out already, the Bible
is not all rainbows and fairies. If you
look into it, it is highly misogynistic.
If you want to consider it that from
this modern day and age context, it
speaks out clearly for the supremacy of
men over and over again, much more so
than Islam. I would say that Islam is
the balanced path, but at the same time,
it stays realistic. Of course, there are
stark differences between women and men.
In this hyper individualist liberal
society, they will tell you that it's
not the case and everybody can do the
exact same job. Well, why is there a pay
gap? Why are those high-risk jobs in 95%
of the cases done by men? It is because
men and women are fundamentally
different. If you don't want to accept
it, you can, but you will suffer of
course because you are living in a
delusion. I was so lucky to go through
the struggle back in the day when I
experimented with all kinds of different
diets, especially veganism. Veganism was
ideological. Veganism sounded nice on
paper. Hey, a world where we don't have
to kill animals. Of course, for that you
have to close your eyes and pretend that
you're blind and not look into the
natural world. You have to assume that
the killing of animals is in most
instances done by humans, which is
simply not true. Of course, don't get me
wrong, with factory farming, yes, we're
killing a lot of animals, surely, but
it's still nothing in comparison to the
natural world. If you look into the
wildlife, if you look into the ocean
world, how many fish die on a daily
basis are being slaughtered, eaten,
alive, etc. by other animals. So,
veganism was an ideology where you
simply had to close your eyes and
pretend this is paradise. This is
heaven. Nobody has to die anymore. And
my soy schnitle and my almond milk latte
just appeared magically. There was no
death involved at all. No
transportation, zero. That is not the
truth. And it is okay because as a human
being you have that free will and you
can discover it for yourself but you
will suffer. That's it. Many people
still to this very day don't understand
why I left veganism. Many vegans assume
that it is because I'm some sort of evil
vicious caveman. I'm super dumb and
stupid. I couldn't make a vegan diet
work. The reality is I simply was fed up
with suffering. I still do care for
animals and I'm for the good treatment
of animals. This is just my nature. This
is how I am. I know people that really
couldn't care less about it. For me
personally, yes, I like when animals are
treated well. But at the same time, I do
have to accept that I'm a human being.
I'm in this flesh body of an omnivore.
And therefore, I have to do what I have
to do. Therefore, I have to feed myself
as well. First and foremost, I have to
feed myself. I have to feed my family.
Otherwise, I won't have a happy life.
And that's the beauty of this world. You
can do whatever you want to do, but
you're going to suffer. And therefore
when it comes down to males and females,
psychological questions, spiritual
questions, even if you do not accept
that females and males are fundamentally
different, you will suffer forever. If
you do not understand your position as a
man, where you will have to lead your
family, where you will have to lead your
woman, then you will suffer forever. I
see it so often nowadays. People are
using homosexual terminology. They say,
"Oh, my partner and I." It's not your
partner. It's your wife. It's your
woman. You are her husband. You are her
men. you're not partners. But men really
forgot what it means to be a man. And
because men forgot what it means to be a
man, women started forgetting what it
means to be a woman as well. And
therefore, they're competing with each
other. And of course, the system is to
be blamed as well because the system is
set up like this for men and women to
compete with each other. Like that to
create way less children. Like that the
family structure will get impaired even
further. Like that the system can teach
your children about right and wrong from
their perspective out on etc. So
therefore, even though I use this video
here humorously, I'm not using it as
comedy because it is factual. It is
truthful. It shows you how it can be in
real life. You can have two women there
telling you they're absolutely
convinced, but in reality, they have no
idea what they're talking about. And
this is why we choose males as the
patriarch, as the authoritative figure
in the family and beyond as well. All
right, guys. But this is it for today's
video. If you enjoyed it, leave the
