Video summary
The video features a creator with normal-to-dry skin who shares her top skincare picks from ten viral brands to address concerns like discoloration, uneven texture, and early anti-aging needs at age thirty. She emphasizes that while she often seeks instant results due to her makeup-focused routine, these specific products have delivered visible improvements in her jawline smoothness and overall skin clarity. Having tested numerous items sent for work purposes, she highlights only those that provided genuine benefits without causing irritation or breakouts, noting how consistent use has significantly reduced the texture issues she previously struggled with.
For hydration and barrier repair, she recommends several standout products including Beauty of Joseon's Green Plum Cleanser for its gentle exfoliation and moisture retention during pregnancy, Anua Heartleaf Toner to soothe sensitive skin without burning, and Laneige Cream Skin as a versatile milky toner that deeply hydrates dry types while serving as an effective makeup primer. She also praises Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream for being fragrance-free, eczema-safe, and non-comedogenic, making it ideal for those prone to acne from moisturizers, alongside the Road Peptide Glazing Fluid which offers a signature glass-skin glow without weighing down the complexion or interfering with makeup application.
The creator further highlights specialized treatments such as The Ordinary's AHA/BHA exfoliants (though not explicitly named in detail here, implied via context of texture fixes), Innisfree's new serum sunscreen that feels like a skincare product rather than traditional SPF, and Medicube gel masks—specifically the turmeric variant for brightening dull spots. She also includes Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Patches as an excellent travel-friendly option to de-puff tired eyes using caffeine and peptides, alongside E.L.F.'s Holy Hydration Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm which effectively removes makeup affordably without leaving residue or requiring expensive alternatives like Elmsa.
Ultimately, the video concludes that while personal skin types vary, these products have consistently delivered reliable results for her specific needs ranging from soothing sensitivity to locking in moisture and enhancing radiance. She encourages viewers to consider their own skin concerns when selecting items but notes how incorporating these into a routine has helped refine her texture over time as she ages. The creator ends by inviting recommendations for fine lines and dark spots, reinforcing that skincare is essential not just for health but also for ensuring makeup looks flawless throughout the day.

Today I am sharing with you the number
one best skin care product from 10 of
the most viral skincare brands right now
in my opinion of course for my skin type
which I have normal leaning dry skin. I
have discoloration. I have some
unevenness and I'm 30. So I'm starting
to focus a little bit more on
anti-aging. I did used to struggle with
texture, but I'm like so proud to
announce that I no longer have texture.
My jawline, my cheeks are officially
smooth now. And so once I locked into my
skin care is when these improvements
happen. So a lot of these actually
helped with that. And you know, with the
nature of my job, I get sent a lot of
skincare. So naturally, I do try quite a
lot of skincare. So, I'm going to share
with you the products from these 10 most
popular brands that I feel gave me real
results. Unfortunately, I'm someone who
requires instant gratification. That's
why I love makeup so much so I can be a
little less patient with skinincare, but
these are all products that I noticed
made a visible difference in my skin.
So, first brand, let's start off with
Clarins. In my opinion, they have one of
the best eye creams for brightening. And
this is coming from the mother of a baby
who's going through a sleep regression
right now. And also a huge thank you to
Clarence for sponsoring this portion of
today's video. If you love their most
popular item, the double serum, then you
are really going to love their double
serum eye cream. It's a twoin-one oil
and cream formula. And I hate when a eye
cream feels too heavy on my under eyes.
This feels nice and lightweight because
it does have that serum feel. It's also
very, very hydrating. So, I notice a
huge difference in how my concealer sits
and wears throughout the day, and it
just applies so smooth. Now, it's
actually been clinically proven to
reduce dark circles, puffiness, and
wrinkles. Ingredient-wise, the
nyinomide, it's going to help with dark
brown circles. And the organic horse
chestnut essin is what helps improve the
look of blue and purple dark circles,
which is what I have. So, when I apply
it, it just feels nice. It's light under
the eyes. It's essentially a boost for
my dark circles in the morning. So, if
you want to check it out, I will have it
linked down below for you guys. You've
probably noticed the rise in popularity
of K beauty brand. So, I do have a few
that I'm talking about today. The first
one that I have is Beauty of Josan. This
one they do sell at Sephora. And my
favorite product from them has been the
green plum refreshing cleanser. Now, I
am not an ingredient buff, so I'm going
to screenshot the key ingredients from
the website for you. I'm just gonna tell
you mostly my experience with them. So,
this I feel is extremely gentle. I would
recommend this for all skin types. It
has that plum water which will help
hydrate and soften the dead skin cells.
So, it really cleanses the face. And
then it also has that mung bean extract
which is going to hydrate and I really
do feel like it helps my skin's moisture
barrier. I used to struggle with when I
would put skincare products on, they
would actually burn because I wasn't
taking care of my skin barrier. And all
of these products, this one in
particular, this cleanser is really
great for that. And it doesn't leave
like a residue or anything behind. It's
just a very light, fresh, and truly
cleansing cleanser that I use every day.
I keep one in my shower. I also keep one
on my counter. Beauty of Josan has a lot
of beautiful skin care products, but
this is the one that I've actually
finished one of. So, this one is so so
good. I do also recommend their serums.
Their serums are great as well. All
right, totally. Obviously, that one is
another very expensive one, but this
product I absolutely love. I finished
two of these because I used this as my
toner all throughout my pregnancy. This
is their beauty elixir and it's
essentially just a spray. You shake it
and then you spray your face. I truly
feel like this tightens my pores. Now,
this is kind of a do-it-all spray. It
like soothes the skin. It hydrates the
skin. It adds glow to the skin. It adds
radiance. It has a list of ingredients
that will tell you what will do what.
But why I used this throughout my
pregnancy is because I felt like it
tightened my pores. It kept acne away.
Even though that's not a claim, I really
felt like it did help with my acne. And
then the hormones were just causing my
skin to go haywire and I just felt like
this soothed whatever situation I had
going on. So, it was due to adding this
into my pregnancy routine that this
officially became my favorite product
from Kodi. I just grabbed a fresh one
for this video, but if you have like
bigger pores or more visible pores, I
definitely recommend trying that out and
adding that to your routine. I have
another Korean skincare brand. This is
Anua. I did a partnership with them like
a year or two ago, so they sent a lot of
their products, so I was able to work
through a few of them. And this one is
actually one of my current toners that
I'm using right now. I do try to not
have too many skincare products open at
once. So, you'll notice some are barely
used because I'm really not trying to
use it. If you have really sensitive
skin, you need to try this toner. This
is the Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner. This
basically just feels like putting water
on the skin. And this does not claim to
clear texture, smooth the skin, or
prevent acne. But I'm just saying, ever
since I've added this to my routine, my
skin has never been more smooth and
texture. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I
think it was adding this. Now, what this
is essentially supposed to do is it's
supposed to soothe the skin and also add
a really subtle hydration layer to the
skin. Like I said, it feels like water.
I don't notice it necessarily actually
hydrating my skin. I think if you have
more oily skin, this is better for
hydration because you don't want
anything too heavy, but I have dry skin.
This really, I'm sure doesn't hurt the
hydration, but I use it because it never
burns. It calms sensitive skin, and it
helps tone and balance pH levels. And if
you are somebody that notices like
skincare burns, this is really great for
you. Next, let's talk Lanz. This is a
product that I've talked about from
years, but it is like creme de la creme.
This was a Korean skincare product that
I added into my routine before I even
knew it was like a Korean skin care
product, and it the style of product
like this is very popular right now.
This is their cream skin. Essentially,
it's like a milky toner situation. I
didn't know what a milky toner was when
I started using this, but I just knew my
skin loved this. If you have dry skin,
this is a must. Now, this is a spray
form, but it's thick enough to where if
you have oily skin, you can actually use
this as your moisturizer. But, of
course, if you have more dry skin like
myself, I use it more so as a serum
situation to prep before moisturizer.
You know, it has all the buzzwords,
ceramides, peptides. But what I like
about this so much is it's lightweight,
but it's very, very impactful for
hydration. That's what I'm looking for
for the majority of my skinincare
products. So, do keep that in mind. So,
yes, I'll use this as a toner situation,
but I will also use this if it's been a
while since I've done my skinincare and
I need a little boost of hydration. I'll
spray this on. I will spray this on
before I do my makeup. If I want a shot
of hydration, this is so lightweight,
but it does quite deeply hydrate given
the consistency of it. And for how
lightweight it feels, it actually makes
it spectacular prior to makeup. So, this
for me is the OG Milky Toner, and it is
incredible. Next up from Glow Recipe,
they have a number of products that I
really like, but I do think their serums
are the best. The one that I've been
loving the most lately is the Plum Plump
Hyaluronic Serum. Because I have dry
skin, I do love a hyaluronic acid
situation because it locks in moisture
for the day. Now, this one I like
because it's really lightweight. I don't
mind a thick serum, but I like that this
hydrates like a thick serum, but it
doesn't feel heavy or weigh on my skin
at all throughout the day. With a
product like this, I find that with all
of the other hydrating products that I
put on, this kind of locks in hydration
and keeps my skin feeling hydrated
throughout the day. I used to not think
serum was necessary in my routine, but
once I found some good ones that
actually worked, I realized how they
lock in moisture throughout the day, and
this one is absolutely fantastic with
that. It especially helps that Glow
Recipe has adorable packaging. Now, this
has a bunch of ingredient claims, and
like I said, not an ingredient buff, but
I absolutely do feel like this does
leave my skin looking plump and feeling
bouncy, and that it really is essential
for truly hydrating my skin and
nourishing it throughout the day. Next
up, Kes. You already know their ultra
facial cream. I talk about this non-stop
because it is my favorite moisturizer. A
moisturizer is essential for a person
with dry skin. This is the most gentle
yet effective moisturizer on the market.
It doesn't have any fragrance, so you
don't have to worry about that, but it
feels pretty lightweight. It still is a
moisturizer, so there is a little bit of
thickness to it, but it just like soaks
into the skin and instantly hydrates.
It's like a not exciting product. It
just like does exactly what it's
supposed to do. It's very simple in its
ingredients. It has no fragrance, simple
in its packaging, but does a good job.
It's so gentle that it's eczema approved
as well. So, this is one of the best
moisturizers. And I find that
moisturizers are normally the culprit to
make me break out. So, there's been a
lot of moisturizers in the past that
I've tried that cause me to get acne.
And I always go back to this if
something is causing that because it
will never ever give me acne ever. Next
up, absolutely probably like one of the
if not the most popular. They're
definitely the most trendy skincare
brand that I'm talking about in today's
video. We have Road and to no surprise
to me, one of the best and not
necessarily unique anymore, but it
really was unique when it first
launched. The peptide glazing fluid.
They definitely tapped into K beauty and
K skincare before everybody else when
they launched this product. But it's
it's milky and it leaves a pretty glow
behind on this skin and it's hydrating
and it will stay on top of the skin for
a while. that sometimes can feel a
little heavy, but it's still pretty
lightweight, honestly. And it's okay
that it's a little bit heavy because
that keeps the glow throughout the day.
This is a really great glass skin
product. It has been incorporated now in
millions of people's makeup routines as
a prep step because it does create such
a glassy pretty glow without being too
heavy, without affecting makeup wear.
And I do feel like Road has done a
phenomenal job with their skin care
products overall. And I mean, this one
is so so good. There are now a lot more
skincare products out there like this
one, but this one is truly the OG in the
American market. So, if you want a cream
that's going to make the skin really
glowy where the focus is actually giving
a glass-like appearance, I do recommend
this. And of course, it also has that
added benefit of hydration. But if
glassy skin is your goal, this is simply
my bestkept secret for glass skin. So,
we're talking about Tier Tier. Tier
Tier, I think, is more so known for its
foundation, but they actually have
phenomenal skincare. I actually have a
full rundown of everything from the tier
tier skincare line because I fully have
tested their products. They have so many
amazing ones, but to me the skincare
product that they have that stands out
and is the most unique is their ceramic
milk ample. So this will hydrate the
skin. It will nourish the skin and it
will give you instant glass skin. The
results are instant and they are
incredible. This is even more glassy
than the road. The caveat to this is it
can be a little bit heavy on the skin.
and it can feel a little greasy, but if
you don't over apply and your goal is
glow, this is the answer. This is one of
the most unique skin care products that
I've ever used. And truly, if I want to
look glassy, this is the product. Now,
it will also hydrate the skin. I'm not
using this daily because sometimes it is
a bit heavy, especially if I wear makeup
over top. But especially for more
natural days, lighter coverage. I use
this as my base and it is incredible.
Baby, I look hydrated with this. Next,
let's move on to Inisfree. Now, you've
heard me talk about their SPFs. I do
think they have some of the best SPFs on
the market, and they just launched a new
one that has become my favorite product
from them. I think it's incredible. So,
this is a new one. It's the product here
that I've probably used the least, but
it was pretty much love at first sight,
and I'm very picky about my SPFs. So,
this is the Daily UV Invisible Barrier
Serum Sunscreen. So, the goal with this
was to essentially make it feel like a
skin care product, a serum, and I do
feel as though they achieved that. So,
it doesn't have that sunscreen feel. It
blends in pretty much clear. And so I've
been loving applying this underneath my
makeup because it truly feels like a
serum. There's nothing that gives SPF
about this. So I wanted to mention this
because their other SPF actually was one
of my favorite SPFs prior and it still
is amazing. But when they launched this,
I haven't been reaching for the other
one because this is truly unique. This
is the least SPF SPF on the market. I
love it. All right. Now this one, I
don't know. It's in competition with
road. It is huge on Tik Tok. We are
going to talk about Medicube and I will
admit I there's much to try from
Metacube. I haven't tried absolutely
everything, but their gel masks are
amazing. I know the pink one is really
popular. My mother-in-law loves that
one. But I also really like the Kjic
acid turmeric brightening gel mask
because I am looking for more
brightening results and more evening
because I do have some dark spots on my
skin. So number one with this being a
face mask, it does hydrate my skin and
it's the one that changes color so it
turns clear once it's fully penetrated
into the skin. It sticks on the face
very well. Also, it doesn't slide around
which I appreciate. And I love a good
little skin care mask. And I like that
this one is helping to even out my skin
tone and add some brightness, take away
some of the dullness. So, while
everybody's loving the pink one, I love
the yellow one. And then you of course
can't deny this is why Medicube masks
are so popular. When you use this for
the rest of the day, your skin is going
to be so so glowy. There are some people
who will go to sleep with these. not
tie, but I still think they're
fantastic. The next brand that I have is
Summer Fridays, and I love these. I
traveled a lot this summer, so these are
the Jet Lag eye patches. I think that
these are incredible eye patches. I do
like, you know, that burst of hydration
on the under eyes, and this is great to
pop on in the morning. It feels nice and
refreshing, especially if you put it in
the refrigerator. And it's like not
sticky, but it doesn't fall off, which
is great. It just feels good. And I like
how portable it is. I mean, this was
designed to be used for travel, which is
why I've ended up using these so much.
And these are just great when I pack a
little bag. I just pop one or two of
these in and it's such a treat on
vacation. But of course, in the mornings
when I am tired and my baby has kept me
up, I really enjoy these. you know, it
has those caffeines and peptides that
are going to help deppuff the area as
well in the morning, which is why I
recommend putting them in the fridge and
in the morning just popping them
underneath. But overall, their jet lag
line in general from Summer Fridays is
incredible. And the final product that I
have is from E.L.F. I know E.L.F.
skincare isn't as popular as their
makeup line, but I think they are in an
incredible affordable skincare line.
Their holy hydration line will knock
your socks off. I've gone through a few
of these Holy Hydration Makeup Melting
Cleansing Balms. I like these because it
makes the makeup melt off really easily.
I like to keep one of these in my shower
and just rub my makeup off in the
shower. I think it works better than an
oil. It's affordable. It doesn't leave
any re residue behind. A more expensive
alternative when it comes to cleansing
balms that's really popular is Elmus,
which I love the Elmus one, but I don't
often want to pay the Elmus price. So,
this is one that I've found myself going
back to for years. I've been through a
multitude of these where they've
refreshed the packaging over the years,
so it looks a little different than the
last time I've used it. This one is
currently unused, but I promise you, I'm
coming at you with experience on this
product. It's just a new one. But yeah,
Holy Hydration Line from E.L.F. is a
line that I go back to all the time. I'm
also in my rotation. I have their
overnight sleeping mask, which I think
is super duper nice and hydrating, but I
think this is my most used from the
line, but don't sleep on it. The Holy
Hydration line. I've used pretty much
every product from that collection
specifically, and I think they're
incredible, especially for the price
point. And there we have it. Those are
the number one best products from 10 of
the most viral skincare brands. As
always, that's it's just my opinion, and
you know, I am not a skincare expert.
I'm just speaking on what has worked
really well for my skin. Even though I'm
mostly a makeup channel, I do love skin
care and I have a lot of fun with skin
care because skincare is important to
making my makeup look good. And these
are products that I've been using that
I've been loving and you know over the
years my dryness has really improved. My
texture has really improved. Now, as I'm
getting older, I'm honing in more on
fine lines and dark spots that just
happen with age and living. So, if you
have any products for that you'd
recommend, please let me know down
below. And again, huge thank you to
Clarence for sponsoring today's video.
Reminder, I will put a link down below
to check out their double serum eye
cream. Again, if you love their iconic
double serum, you will love the eye
cream as well. I mean, these are a
powerhouse duo of products, let me tell
you. So, I hope you guys enjoyed this
video and found it helpful and I will
see you guys in the next one. Bye, guys.
Have a good one. It's delicious.
